Time of Reading 11:50 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [903]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, in some respects conditions are much improved. But the continual reversion to the pressures upon the pelvic disturbance, through the lumbar and coccyx area, still brings anxiety and disturbance to the body.

3. There is the tendency, as we find, for the character of the exercise, in the alighting from the car and in the activity with the driving, to make for a continued reaction TOWARDS causing the impactions and the irritations that arise from same in the pelvic disturbances. [GD's note: Mrs. [903] was of small-low stature and spent much of her time chauffeuring her sons back and forth to school activities, her commuting husband back and forth to train, etc.]

4. Then, as we find, there would be not so much the refraining from the driving altogether but the being careful or doing same with greater precautions; and the refraining from such activity when not absolutely necessary.

5. Also while the position of the organs of the pelvis is as it is, there is the continual tendency for the dropping forward.

6. Hence there should be the replacing of the womb; not by operative forces necessarily, but through the application of a gynecologist that would use the packing of the correct natures as to HOLD same.

7. And then we would refrain from great activity, until the muscular forces are strengthened - by the manipulative measures osteopathically as well as the natural tendency for corrections by the packing.

8. These would make for much bettered conditions throughout the body.

9. The corrections in the structural portions osteopathically were and are necessary FIRST; then the application for the POSITION of the organs themselves.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What effect does Scotch Douche have on the strained region? (A) To repel the tendency for plethoric condition or for the tissue itself to expand. These, of course, would not be necessary if the packings were given for the position to be brought about. Hence the questions as indicated here to be asked might become confusing; dependent upon the manner which is used for corrective forces. If the corrections by packing are NOT used, then the douches are well; but are only to relieve the tension. The better manner then would be to have the adjustments of the structural portions osteopathically, and then the applications for correction of position by packing; and then sufficient rest periods, with occasional manipulations osteopathically to strengthen the muscular forces and allow the muscles AND the soft tissue to assume normal position and strength.

12. (Q) How many adjustments will be needed before the other treatments by the gynecologist begin? (A) Just so there is the alignment, whether it takes one, three or ten. Just so the condition or pressure or alignment in the pelvis itself is level.

13. (Q) Should any exercises be taken? (A) This again depends upon WHAT is to be the mode of procedure. If all of these suggestions are adhered to as indicated, NONE until there IS the period of adjustment of the organs of pelvis as well as the pelvic area in the structural portions - cerebrospinal AND the areas through the sacral and coccyx.
