1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [905].

2. Now, as we find, there is somewhat of a complication of disturbances in the physical forces of this body, [905]. And these disturbances are and have been at times misconstrued as to the cause of same. It is true that the nerve plexus and the coordinations with these in the activity of certain organs make for much inflammation as to indicate organic affectations. These as we find, however, arise from NERVE affectation, produced by impoverishment through GLANDULAR secretion; a lack of proper elements to balance the system in its functioning.

3. We find the BLOOD SUPPLY indicates an impoverishment rather than being so unbalanced in the white and red blood cells. These are both deficient; yet the manner in which the affectations of the glands PREVENT the cellular forces being created, and the manner in which there is the infusion of the blood in portions of the system, as from the eliminations in the activities through the alimentary canal, the undue activity during the periods of menstruation, all indicate that there is the lack of those elements necessary for forming the body for the cellular force. While the secretions arise, and these are lacking in their activity to produce the necessary forces, the blood gradually becomes impoverished and has made for a nerve reaction, a nerve affectation.

4. These are the causes, as we find, of the conditions with this body.

5. Then, in making amendments - as it were - to the activities for the body, as to bring about much nearer normalcy, gradually bringing a normal condition - if all of

these suggestions are followed consistently and persistently, we find:

6. First we would begin with Atomidine, or the atomic iodine in the system, taken internally in this manner:

7. The first day take one minim before the morning meal and one minim before retiring in the evening, in half a glass of water.

8. Each day increase the dosage one minim; that is, on the second day take two minims before the morning meal and two before retiring; the third day three; the fourth day taking five. The dosage would be twice each day, whether one or the five.

9. Then on the fifth day begin all over again; that is, with the one minim twice a day.

10. When the second round has been completed of taking the Atomidine in this manner (that is, in about ten days), rest or leave it off one day. Then: (not before then)

11. Begin with the deep therapy treatment, or the diathermy; making the applications, though, one on the secondary cardiac plexus - or at the 3rd and 4th dorsal center, and the other anode over the lacteal AND gall duct area - or to the right of the umbilicii center and just below, of course, the rib area.

12. This should be taken very light; NOT too severe. It would be taken EACH day, not OVER twenty to thirty minutes, for a period of ten days.

13. Then rest from the diathermy treatments and begin the Atomidine again. Do not take the Atomidine and the diathermy at the same period.

14. During the periods the diathermy is being given, also during the same periods that the atomic iodine is being taken, we would each day massage the body with Olive Oil - that will make for an enlivening of the whole of the sympathetic circulation and the superficial capillary or superficial circulation, and will be most helpful.

15. It would be well for the body to at least twice a month take a high irrigation that we may cleanse the poisons from the alimentary canal, and especially the colon; that are being brought about in their activities through the gland secretion by the taking of the iodine properties, also the activities of the system that are increased by the use of the diathermy, see? Such irrigations should always carry an alkalin antiseptic in the solution. Preferably the first water should carry half a teaspoonful of salt and a heaping teaspoonful of soda, to a gallon or gallon and a half of water. In the last portion of the colonic or irrigation use a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to a quart of water.

These will NOT make for irritations that are indicated with the ordinary or plain solutions.

16. Keep these; being mindful that the diets are those that are alkalin in reaction. And by the time there are three or four periods of the Atomidine and two or three periods of the diathermy, we should find the body a great deal nearer normal.

17. Then we would give further instructions.

18. Ready for questions.

19. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for Dr. Chas. W. Ross) Copy to Mrs. E. A. Poe, Secretary Group #11 of the Association " " Ass'n file (See booklet [which was enclosed] explaining Atomidine and where obtained. Be sure to take as directed in Reading, NOT as given on bottle. We would advise that the one administering diathermy treatments do so exactly as indicated in reading; as to places of attachment, treatment periods, etc. See list of Alkalin-Reacting Foods [which was enclosed], of which the diet should principally consist. After these treatments have been followed for the specified number of rounds - which would be approximately sixty days - let us know so that we may make an appointment for a Check Reading to give further instructions. If everything is not clear, communicate with us or with Group #11. GD.)
