At Mrs. [920]'s Time of Reading home, 10:55 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. L.I., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: "It's a very pretty one!" (Referring to the home)

2. Yes, we have the body, [906].

3. Now, as we find, while in many respects the disorders are not so great - as in many ways the physical forces and physical reactions of this body, [906], are very good, there may be such corrections that there will be a great deal better response in the physical forces; and there will be the anxieties removed that cause disorder at times.

4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [906] we are speaking of:

5. First, in the glands of the body we find there is a tendency for the activity to be of such a nature as to not only make for an overweight in the body but for a changing in the manner in which eliminations are carried on in the system. Thus there is produced at times, especially at night or if the body is worried or if the body sleeps too long, a very profuse respiratory reaction - or perspiration.

6. This is the attempt of the system to alleviate the poisons from the system that make for this tendency of the body to become overactive in the storing of certain fats or certain fat portions in the system. Thus there is produced those pressures that exist in the lower dorsal and lumbar area. So, in certain positions or certain activities there is the tendency for the pressure upon the kidney and bladder; producing the heaviness or pains, or at times the overactivity of the kidney or bladder, and the general heaviness that occurs through the system.

7. There is in the BLOOD STREAM the excess of the red blood poisons not eliminated properly from the blood supply; a slow or low activity through the hepatic circulation and the blood pressure is somewhat low.

8. These are the general conditions as we find with this body, produced by the glands' secretions being abnormal, or

906-1 Page 2

lack of drainage properly, the lack of the proper assimilation with tendencies towards disturbances.

9. And we will find there is a subluxation in the 10th, 11th and 12th DORSAL centers. These need adjustments (as we would have through such an one as Dobbins); and we would have these coordinated - as the adjustments are made - with the lumbar plexus as well as the UPPER dorsal and cervical areas. This will overcome those tendencies for the pressures to disturb the system. In the beginning, make these adjustments about twice or three times each week.

10. We would use also periods of the atomic iodine, or Atomidine; using it in periods of two weeks and then have a rest period of leaving it off a week, and then take again for two weeks, and repeat this for three or four times, when there SHOULD be sufficient reaction in the system; that is, provided the diets, the manipulations and the adjustments are followed. We would take the Atomidine two minims before the morning meal and two minims before retiring at night, in half a glass of water.

11. Also we would have the Radio-Active Appliance, making the attachments (this is specific) each time to the ankle before attaching to the wrist on the opposite side of the body; that is, attach to the right ankle and left wrist, the next time to the left ankle and right wrist. This should be with the body lying or reclining: not wholly reclining but resting when it is taken; each day for forty-five minutes to an hour, or an hour and a half is not too long. It may be attached each day, or it may be taken as the body is ready to retire.

12. We would be very mindful that the diets are in line with these:

13. Be mindful that there is at least ONE meal each day taken of RAW green vegetables; this doesn't mean green in color only but those that are raw and fresh, not stale vegetables. These may include such as lettuce, celery, tomatoes, carrots (these all raw), pepper, onions, radish; which may be mixed or may be taken any one or two or three of these. A dressing or mayonnaise may be used; but these should be well ground or mixed together, or shredded; and may be taken at the noon meal or in the morning or in the evening.

14. Citrus fruit juices with no cereals taken at the same meal. Browned whole wheat bread or the rye bread is preferable to white bread.

15. Apples raw should be abstained from; also bananas; also some character of berries, as strawberries or gooseberries or the like. Other berries may be taken in moderation,

especially those that will soon be in season, as the raspberry - preferably the dark variety rather than the red would be more helpful. These may be taken in the morning meal with the cereals or they may be used in a salad made of fruits occasionally that may be taken by the body.

16. No white potatoes at any time or in any manner. No fried foods of any kind. Baked, broiled or boiled, or preferably the vegetables cooked in their OWN juices - as in Patapar paper or STEAMED in a manner as to retain their own salts, their own vitamins, and not combining them together. All seasoning should be done with butter and salt or paprika (or whatever may be used as the seasoning) AFTER the foods have been cooked! The cooking of condiments, even salt, DESTROYS much of the vitamins of foods.

17. Follow these suggestions and, as we find, we will bring normal forces for this body; reducing the body in its weight to that near normal - of about one thirty-five or one thirty. Do it NORMALLY, or NOMINALLY, and not so that it upsets the system.

18. Ready for questions.

19. (Q) Why do I have pain in my abdomen when I lie on my back? (A) From those pressures that exist from the accumulations from the subluxations in the lower dorsals, as indicated, that press upon the bladder and the kidneys. These have been indicated. The removal of these, as we find, would make for or bring about much bettered conditions in this direction.

20. (Q) Why can't I remember what I read? (A) The disturbances in the circulation, which makes for a slowing of the vital forces through the brain reactions from IMPULSES in the sympathetic system. This should be improved, too, with the coordinating of the circulatory forces through the activity of the Radio-Active forces, as well as from the manipulations and the activities of the glands of the system.

21. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] with directions to Dr. Dobbins. See booklet [which was enclosed] on Atomidine. If everything is not clear, let us know. GD.)
