Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [910], and those conditions that have disturbed and do disturb the better physical functioning of the body. While the body is very good in many respects, there are disturbances that continue to make for an aggravation of conditions that are tendencies in the system. And with these causes eradicated, as we find, not only would these conditions disappear but the body would be better in many other respects that would make for near normal physical functioning; and save a great deal of distress later on.
2. These conditions, as we find, have to do with the manner in which assimilations are carried on, and their effect upon the various portions of the organism.
3. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [910] we are speaking of, present in this room:
4. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY we find the indications of the organs that are disturbed and the manner in which the assimilations are carried on. And at times, as indicated, these conditions (in the assimilations) are the causes or the portion of the system disturbed BY distressed conditions in the physical body. For we find the blood shows poor coagulation, so that in the used forces at times when there arises the acidity or those tendencies for the lack of the proper eliminations through the alimentary canal (for these are a portion of the disorders) we find these bring distresses, not only to the general nervous system but the organs. The liver and the kidneys become involved in the condition, and from same we have a type of headache; pains through the eyes, heaviness across the lower portion of the abdomen, and across the small of the back at times - aching generally through the whole system - these are the effects of this poison that AFFECTS the system through the nerve reflexes from pressures that exist in the lumbar area, that make for the distribution of the ASSIMILATED forces in this
910-1 Page 2
particular portion of the body through the disturbances to the glands.
5. In the NERVOUS FORCES of the system, while the body is very good in the cerebrospinal reaction - save as indicated in the lumbar plexus or in the lumbar axis (the 4th lumbar center), the ganglia there show for pressure on same; so that we have those reflexes in not only the sympathetic system but at times the body has the feeling as of people, conditions, noises, surroundings, "getting on the nerves" - as it were, and make for general irritations. These are only when there has been the lack of the proper assimilation through the system, and comes as a reflex action to the body.
6. In the sympathetic nerve force, these are manifestations more than in the cerebrospinal; though the pressure exists, to be sure, in the lumbar axis - as indicated - and through this ganglion or connection to the sympathetic system; and various portions of the body become affected by same.
7. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, we have through the various centers and ganglia reflex conditions from the nervous system that cause distresses at times; as at times the organs of the sensory system. The body becomes AWARE, as it were, of noises; AWARE of filling to the soft tissue of the sense of smell; also the speech - which at times makes for the necessity for the body to think twice before speaking once. (And what a shame everybody else isn't in the same fix!)
8. The reactions that arise from the whole conditions, then, we find AFFECT the nervous forces through pressures in the lumbar area, reflex to the organs of assimilation, see? Then we have those reactions that in the blood supply, as indicated through the poor coagulation, make for separations at times, as it were; so that the reaction in the gastric flow of the digestive system makes for foulness of breath, AT TIMES. This becomes rather at first as a taste, then as a reaction. Especially do we find this of mornings.
9. In making for corrections that would, as we find, not only remove the distresses but make for better conditions and PREVENT the disorders later on for the system, we would:
10. First make those corrections, osteopathically, that need to be made in the LUMBAR axis; COORDINATING the solar plexus, the brachial plexus, and the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus, WITH those corrections, see? For while there are no lesions in the areas, it will be found with the correction in the lumbar area that at various periods there will be soreness in these reflex centers, from that change as would be wrought by the removal of the
910-1 Page 3
pressure that will allow not only the NERVE flow but the BLOOD flow to be nearer normal.
11. We would have not more than twelve to fourteen treatments or adjustments.
12. We find that the use of Al-Caroid with the Caroid Bile Salts tablets would be effective in making for better assimilations through the system. We would take these rather in periods and combine these together (not at the same time, or same dosage, but on the same days, see?). That is, for three day periods we would take a dose of the Al-Caroid after two of the meals - which would be twice a day, following the meals, see? Then two hours afterwards (that is, twice a day - two hours after the meals) take two of the Caroid Bile Salts tablets, which would make four a day, for three days. Then let a week or more elapse before taking these again for a three day period. But let these come along during the same period that the osteopathic adjustments and manipulations are being given, see?
13. In the diet we would have those foods that are not only body and blood building but that keep close to an alkalin reaction. These beware of: Do not eat shell fish of any kind, though broiled or baked fish would be very good at times. No fried foods at any time. Beware of squash, Irish potatoes, raw apples, bananas raw (though cooked, or in cream, a little of same may be taken). Make the cereals of the whole wheat or whole wheat and rye, or barley, or a combination of these (as in Maltex or the like). Let the meats be preferably fish, lamb, fowl or wild game.
14. Doing these, we fill find we will bring the near normal conditions for this body.
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) What is the cause and cure for trouble in my left hip? (A) The cause is the unbalanced condition in the axis in the lumbar area. And when this pressure is removed we will find both limbs will be the same length; they are not at present!
17. (Q) Did I have T.B. in the hip? (A) Rather an inflammation of the covering of the bone; not in the hip itself.
18. (Q) Is the medicine sold by Dr. J. W. Moses, 11th floor Norfolk Bank of Commerce, as good as it is recommended? And would it be beneficial to me? (A) Would not be beneficial to the body. It's as good as it is recommended for SOME conditions, but not for this body!
19. (Q) What is the cause and cure for the stiffness? (A) As has been indicated, this arises from the poor
910-1 Page 4
assimilations and eliminations.
20. (Q) Is All-Bran taken in the body daily harmful? (A) Preferably, as indicated, take at least every other day the whole wheat - which includes the bran. This is preferable to All-Bran, which makes for rather an irritation. At times the Psylla taken will be more preferable than either of these. But, as indicated, the Al-Caroid and Caroid Bile Salts - taken along together in the manner indicated - will work with the gastric flow as the circulatory forces are altered; and with the activities of the liver and the secretions of the gall area and the pancreas and spleen will make for an easing to the hepatic circulation. Do these, as we find, keeping the right attitude toward constructive forces; and we will find we will eliminate many conditions that have disturbed the body at times, by the purifying of the blood stream and the equalization of the nerve forces and pressures through the body.
