1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
3. As we find, in some respects there are improvements in the physical forces; in others there are some neglects and not sufficient precautions taken towards the elimination of drosses from body, and of that which is better assimilated for body-building.
4. Hence we have those tendencies for an arthritic, more than a neuritic, reaction.
5. Thus we find that the ENO SALTS should be taken regularly, though periodically. Take a teaspoonful in a full glass of water each morning for ten days.
6. Leave off, then, and take - after about two days - two minims of Atomidine in half a glass of water each morning before breakfast, for three days.
7. Then we would have an Epsom Salts Bath, after the Atomidine has been taken for the three days to purify the glands and to make for better activity by the effect produced from the Epsom Salts Bath. This should be almost a saturated solution - that is, as much Epsom Salts as will dissolve thoroughly in the amount of water used in the tub. Have the water as hot as the body can stand to be in same, and during the twenty to thirty minutes that the body would remain in such a bath, massage the limbs, the hips, the knees, the arms, the elbows and ankles.
8. Following the Bath have a thorough rubdown with an equal combination of Olive Oil and Peanut Oil.
9. Then, after a rest period of three to four days, begin all over again.
10. This would make the Epsom Salts Baths come not oftener than twice a month, which would be sufficient; they should not be taken closer together than that.
11. As to the activity - don't OVERTAX the body in physical

exercise that requires long standing or tiring especially through the hips and the limbs.
12. In the diet - have plenty of fruits and vegetables, cooked and raw. Not too much of meats of any kind. No fried foods. Take all of the milk that the body can drink, whether the malted or the plain. If one disagrees, use the other, or the alternating of these would be well.
13. Do these for the better conditions.
14. Ready for questions.
15. (Q) Are my tonsils and gums diseased? (A) Sympathetically; but keeping the purifying of the system, especially in the manners indicated, should bring these to a healthy condition. The gargling with Listerine of morning and Glyco-Thymoline of evening would be most beneficial. If these are too severe for the body full strength, begin with half and half, - that is, half water and half of the other. Also these massaged on the gums will be well. A small quantity of either of these swallowed is not harmful. One is acid-reacting, the other is alkalizing. Hence, AFTER the gargle, use the massage of same with a tuft of cotton on finger - gently but thoroughly. Of morning use the Listerine, and when ready to retire use the Glyco-Thymoline.
16. (Q) What is cause and relief for tightness in nose and throat? (A) The application of those things suggested is the remedy. The cause is the poor eliminations.
17. (Q) Why did the pains in right leg and joints get worse after first osteopathic adjustments? (A) Not so well done in the adjustment.
18. (Q) Do I have hardening of the arteries? (A) No.
19. (Q) Any further suggestions? (A) Be consistent with these, as indicated, for at least two to three rounds or periods. Then rest a few months from same and do it all over again; else we may have the arthritic reaction creeping up on the system, see?
