Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [919], and those conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of the body. As we find, there is rather a complication of conditions. And the conditions are in that position where, with UNDUE activity, it may make for very serious conditions; for where it may become a constitutional condition that will require the constant attention to disturbing factors. But if corrected, we may make for normalcy in the physical functioning of the body.

2. Owing to strains and distresses that have existed in the eliminating systems of the body, there have been those strong properties taken or applied that have made for an irritation in the lower hepatic circulation, and for the activities of the kidneys themselves; until we have a very high nervous tension in the system, making for the reflex activity through the sympathetic nervous forces of the body. And owing to a specific segmentation being subluxed in the upper dorsal area and in the cervical reflex to same, we have disturbances with the SENSORY forces - or the SENSES of the body; so that the eyes make for disturbances. At times we find the ears making for not only an irritation and their filling with wax or the secretions from same, but the throat and bronchi at times give trouble in the vocal forces; and a very mean, dull headache that comes either from the eyes or from the repressions in the sensory forces. THESE, as we find, are the conditions that disturb the physical forces of this body, [919] we are speaking of.

3. In the BLOOD SUPPLY it makes for toxic forces being carried in same, that produces in the digestive area the complications with the assimilating forces of the body; as through the activities of the upper portion, or positive forces of the hepatic circulation, thus making in the gall duct area and at times through the right portion and through those portions of the body the keen pains that go through,

as it were, that portion about the upper portion of the kidney; through the ducts or glands in the activity of the reproductive forces of the body. And making for these distresses brings about the continual irritability to the nervous forces. Both arise then from nerve forces, from blood supply, incoordinant forces in the activities of the organs themselves; and these are to be met in making for that as WE find would bring the recuperative forces, the resuscitating activities, and making for near normalcy for the body itself.

4. First, we would find, we would use those that would alleviate the distresses for the body. We would begin, then, with a tonic in the form of Vinol, see? but in every third dose we would take six drops of Essence of Lactated Pepsin.

5. When the Vinol (with the Pepsin added every third dose) has been taken for about five or six days, then - in the evenings when the body goes to sleep or lies down, massage across the kidneys, across the lower portion of the groin (from the frontal side), with equal portions of Mutton Tallow (melted), OIL of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor (full strength), and Compound Tincture of Benzoin - equal portions of each, about a tablespoonful of the liquid of the Mutton Tallow and of each of the others. Massage this gently, not rubbing, so that there is used only what the body will absorb.

6. Then we would skip those days that the Vinol would be taken. This is to be taken twice each day, you see, for the six days. Then we would skip two or three days at a time and only take it about twice each week.

7. When the body is massaged in the evenings with this compound, we would apply heat - preferably with the electrical vibration, or electric pad, see?

8. Then, after this has been used for five or six days (that is, the massage; following the six days of the Vinol), begin with the deep manipulations. Now, do not begin the manipulations until after the twelve days, you see, of the use of the other properties in their regular order.

9. Make those corrections in the dorsal (upper dorsal) and cervical area.

10. And use for the eyes a wash that will be a mild antiseptic and make for the cleansing of same; preferably either the gentle use of the acid that is used for same or the alkalin antiseptic that will cleanse same. Either the acid or the Glyco; preferably the non-acid or the Glyco - this made one part of the Glyco to five parts of water, as a wash. Or use Murine Eye Wash.

11. It would require at least twelve to sixteen adjustments and general treatments. When these are begun leave off the tonic, also the packs or rubs; unless there are periods when there is a great deal of pain through the body.

12. In the matter of the diet, have those things that are body, blood and nerve building. Then, do not use fried foods. Do not eat the white breads. Do not have too great a quantity of potatoes, either white or the yams. Do not make too much of a diet of meat, but when meats are to eaten eat little else at the same meal - except a little sweet, and let that sweet be of honey.

13. Do these, and we will find we will make for the better conditions for this body.

14. (Q) Was my operation a success in every way? (A) That the body is still alive is most remarkable. A success. Of course, there are a great many tendencies for scar tissue that make for such of the distress. But with these rubs and with the corrections, with those activities as indicated, we should make for better conditions.

15. (Q) How much water should I drink daily? (A) At least six to ten glasses.

16. (Q) To what colors do I vibrate? (A) Mauve.

17. (Q) What kind of cosmetics should I use? (A) Black and White - the GENUINE, made in Chicago; not Plough's.

18. (Q) Any other advice? (A) Do these, as has been indicated, in the order and the manner indicated for the better conditions of this body. Take some gentle exercise; that is, other than the regular activities each day in the open. Do not overstrain self in lifting, pulling, or in straining the body. For those tendencies should be released by the manipulations of the general and specific nature that would be given. But prepare the system, the organs, for the corrections first.

19. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] with directions to Osteopath.)
