Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Fla. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [920]; this we have had before.
2. As we find in the present, there are rather the effects of an acute condition which arises from a spring - as it were - in the pelvic bone, or pelvic bones.
3. This, as we find, gives rise to the disturbances in the lower pelvis, across on the left side as well as a reflex from an engorgement in the ascending colon.
4. These, as we find, will need care and attention, and for the body to remain quiet for at least a few days - until there is a subsiding, and a complete activity from and through the eliminations.
5. We find that these would be brought about best in this manner:
6. First we would have the Castor Oil Packs for two or three hours, for a couple of days, or two periods of two and a half to three hours each day; across the abdomen and especially that area between the caecum and the lower portion of the upper jejunum area - or a span from the hip bone on the right side, and extend across to a portion of the ileum plexus.
7. Each day we would have a gentle massage across or around the upper portion and across the lower abdomen and spine, with equal portions of Olive Oil and Tincture of Myrrh.
8. After the Castor Oil Packs for the two days, we would take internally two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.
9. This should eliminate the disturbances in the colon and the caecum and the appendicial area.
10. Should temperature arise from the strain and from irritations that may arise, then there would be the necessity for resorting to other measures.
11. If these as indicated are done, however, remaining quiet for three to four days, the conditions should pass or subside; and these rubs and activities should produce coagulation sufficiently to relieve the strain from the

wrench or injury, or sprain, or strain in the pelvic bone.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) Is the appendix affected? (A) As indicated, there is irritation; not INFLAMMATION, but a fullness and an awareness. This is rather a reflex from an engorgement in the ascending colon, as well as the strain indicated. A warm enema would not be amiss to be taken, even BEFORE the Packs are begun; but this just once.
14. (Q) What should the diet be for these few days? (A) Rather the semi-liquid diet, or the citrus fruit juices, broths, green vegetables or fruits. All of these may be combined in their various manners.
15. We are through with this reading. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file Wired as follows: FIRST GIVE WARM ENEMA. APPLY CASTOR OIL PACKS FOR THREE HOURS ACROSS ABDOMEN ESPECIALLY FROM ABOVE HIP BONE ON RIGHT SIDE EXTENDING TO ILEUM PLEXUS. REPEAT PACKS TOMORROW. THEN GIVE INTERNALLY TWO TABLESPOONSFUL OLIVE OIL. GENTLE MASSAGE EACH DAY WITH EQUAL PARTS OLIVE OIL TINCTURE MYRRH OVER ENTIRE ABDOMINAL AREA AND SPINE. REMAIN QUIET FEW DAYS. SEMI-LIQUID DIET CITRUS FRUIT JUICES, GREEN VEGETALBES OR FRUITS. IF ALARMING TEMPERATURE ARISES RESORT TO OTHER MEASURES BUT THESE SHOULD SUFFICE. CONDITION PRODUCED BY STRAIN TO PELVIC BONE AND REFLEX TO APPENDIX AREA FROM ENGORGEMENT IN ASCENDING COLON. ADVISE.
