Time of Reading 3:15 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Body and enquiring mind. You will give a mental and spiritual reading for this body, with information, counsel and guidance as to how she may become more perfect. You will then answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [922].

2. In giving advice and counsel for this entity, in bringing about that in its experience which may make for the satisfying, or the greater contentment in the mental and spiritual aspects, it is well that there be considered the source, the basis, the ideals of the mental, the spiritual, the material body.

3. And do not confuse the mental-physical experiences and the spiritual-mental forces. For there is the triune; the mental body, the spiritual body or soul, and the mind-body or the physical-body. Hence they each in their own sphere of activity have their attributes and their precepts, and their ideals.

4. What one finds in the physical is a material manifestation of a spiritual import builded by the mental aspects, or in building the ideals the mental body - or the mind builds either from that which is of the spiritual (and thus everlasting) or from the material import (Which changes and alters ever under the varied seasons, the varied environments, the varied outlooks upon the experiences of life).

5. These, then, at times become all-confusing to individuals, as they have at times to this entity. But know in what thou hast believed. TRY ye the spirits. TRY ye the aspects; even of the manifestations in thine mental, thine spiritual aspects. They that acknowledge that HE, the Christ, has come in the flesh are of the Spirit of Truth. [See 262-85, Par. 8-A, 9-A.]

6. There is that access, then, that way, to the Throne of grace, of mercy, of peace, of understanding, within thine

own self. For He has promised to meet thee in thine own temple, in thine own body, through thine own mind. And as He has given of old, as He has made manifest in the flesh, as He has spoken to thee and to thy fellow man again and again, consecrate your mind, your body; purge same in a manner that TO THEE in thine own consciousness has made and does make thee as receiving thy Lord, thy God! And then enter into the holy of holies, within thine own consciousness; turn within; see what has prompted thee. And He has promised to meet thee there. And there SHALL it be TOLD thee from within the steps thou shouldst take day by day, step by step. Not that some great exploit, some great manner of change should come within thine body, thine mind, but line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little. For it is, as He has given, not the knowledge alone but the practical application - in thine daily experience with thy fellow man - that counts. Not that one seeks out this, that or the other manner, or the other channel; for lo, He is within thine own self - yet without, that He may guide, GUARD, direct thy ways day by day! It is just in LIVING those things in the material manner that are the fruits of the Spirit, that bring with them their reward - which maketh for the understanding within thee: Love ye one another; show forth gentleness, kindness; speak softly, even to those that are harsh; upbraid not; condemn not; be long-suffering. Be patient, even with thine own self; not as some men count patience, but as an activative principle, as an activative experience in thine own self. For as the Master of Masters has said; IN PATIENCE possess ye, do ye become aware of, thine own soul! See, know, feel, understand that thy body is but the shell, the shadow, the encasement of thy soul; with thy mind that is both spiritual and material, that partakes of heaven - yea, and of hell also. For as He has given, as heaven is His home and earth His footstool, "as ye are in me and I in thee and I in the Father," so abide ye; that ye may know. Not that, then, which maketh afraid. Not that which is of fear. Not that which is of trembling. But the LOVE, the peace, the patience, the mercy, that casteth out fear; the patience that turneth away wrath; the mercy that doeth good even unto those that speak evil of thee, who despitefully use thee, who say unkind things about thee. Speak gently. These make for that within self which brings the awareness such that thy face, thy body, SHINES even as a light unto Him. For if He abides with thee, WHO can make thee afraid?

7. Will He abide with thee? "As ye call, so will I harken." For by what judgement are ye to be judged? "Inasmuch as ye

do it unto the least of these, my children, ye do it unto me."

8. Keep the faith that thou hast had. KNOW He IS; and as ye seek Him He rewards those that diligently seek Him.

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) Is what is holding me back physical or laziness? (A) Rather that of indecision, incontriteness. Purge thy mind, thy body. Make thyself one with Him.

11. (Q) Why do I not make a more continuous effort? (A) Is thy purpose a single one? or art thou seeking - seeking, without putting into practice that thou knowest?

12. (Q) In what way can I best serve while in this body? (A) Studying to show thyself approved unto Him; not as an eye-servant, but as ye do it unto these that ye meet, as ye do it unto those in thine own house, as ye do it unto those that ye meet day by day; a smile, a cheery word, a hopefulness - optimistic, ever, in Him. For He is the way; He is the ABUNDANT supply - if ye but put thy trust in Him.

13. (Q) How can I correct the condition which holds me back? (A) As has been indicated. Enter into thine inner chamber with thy Lord; meet Him there; seek and ye shall know. For He would speak with thee as thou wouldest with thy child. As thou as a mother lovest that which is of thee, of thine own body, of thine own blood, then knoweth thee not that as thou would be gentle, as thou wouldest be patient, thy heavenly Father would be more patient with thee? TRUST in Him; SPEAK oft with Him.

14. (Q) Why do I have a decided feeling against digging into the past? (A) Thou hast remembered well that as was given, "Remember Lot's wife." But rather know that what is necessary for thee will be given thee - of thy past, of thy present, of thy future. Are they not one in Him? He IS from the foundations of the world. He is! And as He has given, "Come and know ye me, and I will give thee that knowledge that thou hadst with me since the foundations of the world." Lo, He is nigh unto thee!

15. REMEMBER the vision thou art experiencing in the present.
