1. EC: Yes. We have the body, [929].

2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing factors in the better physical forces of the body. These, as we find, have to do with hindrances that have existed in the equilibrium of the body; especially as to the secondary cardiac area. And through this there have gradually arisen those factors that have allowed the accumulations of poisons in the system, which - weakening the body - allow infectious forces through the respiratory system, especially in the upper portion in the left lobe, and make for a distressed area. These conditions are in their incipiency or beginning, as we find, so that - with the correct balance being brought about, and the building up of the blood supply, the nerve energies, the resistances, keeping an equal balance between the hepatic circulation and the heart's activity - they may be not only checked but eradicated entirely from the system.

3. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [929] we are speaking of:

4. The BLOOD SUPPLY indicates there are infectious forces active in the body, and the portion of the system affected is also indicated from the manner of reaction made in liver and kidneys. The manner in which there is the respiratory reaction of the blood supply indicates the characterization of same, yet at present it is not indicated in but a very small portion of the lung itself.

5. We find that the NERVOUS FORCES of the body indicate more the weakness, the fatigue, that comes on with the overacidity that naturally arises from a weakened blood supply, a slow elimination, a disturbance in the hepatics. This all tends to make for superacidity in the body, and makes for depletion in the nervous forces of the body.

6. As to the ORGANS of the body, we find:

7. Brain forces are very good.

8. Throat, bronchi, lungs, larynx - as indicated from the

929-1 Page 2

positions of the reactions in the respiratory or lung area, there is in the secondary cardiac area - or in the 4th dorsal area - a subluxation. It is not a great one, but to the side - and in such a manner that it has disturbed the vegetative or sympathetic nervous system. Thus it has slowed up the activity of the superficial circulation or circulatory force as it coordinates with the central nervous system for the flow of the blood supply to the upper portion of the lungs themselves. This has allowed an area, then, to become disturbed by the poor circulation through same.

9. The heart's activity indicates at times the very slow temperature (mornings and evenings at times) by the increased activity of the blood in its attempt to meet the needs and the inroads upon the activities in the blood stream itself.

10. We have, then, a low red blood cell, with AT TIMES an excess of white while at others low; the attempt of the leucocyte to meet the needs and yet breaking down at times, for there is the inability to create proper coagulation at all times owing to the disturbance produced by the slowed circulation in the activity of the hemoglobin.

11. The digestive system shows a tendency for the body NOT to assimilate. Hence the superacidity from poor assimilation as well as from an unbalancing in its diet and in its activities for the system.

12. There is a very cold or low hepatic circulation; some disturbance through the liver and through the kidneys at times. These kept near normal will almost OF THEMSELVES gradually eliminate the condition!

13. Hence, in meeting the needs of the conditions, as we would find, these would be well:

14. First, it is well that the body not overtax itself. This does not necessarily mean that the body would put itself to bed; but the body should rest - and that in the open air and the sunshine a great deal.

15. And we would, either chiropractically or osteopathically, make corrections of those subluxations that exist in the dorsal area as indicated. It would be better for these treatments to be kept for three to four weeks at a time, then a rest period of leaving them off for a week or two, and then begin again; continuing in this manner for a period of four to five months.

16. We would build the body up. Take the food values that make for BODY-BUILDING, but let them be rather alkalin-reacting. Or, an outline for the diet would be:

17. Mornings - citrus fruit juices; these we would have EACH morning. Either orange juice with lemon, lime juice with

929-1 Page 3

orange, the grapefruit juices or the pulp itself may be taken; pineapple juices. Whole wheat toast, coddled egg; and AT TIMES a small portion of VERY CRISP bacon.

18. In the middle of the morning we would have a malted milk with a whole egg (white AND yellow) in same, but this should be beaten very thoroughly, you see. And a few drops or a teaspoonful of PURE apply brandy should be added to same.

19. Noons - chicken broth, or chicken, or broiled liver or tripe, or things of such natures; not too much of same, but those that are body and blood building. These may be had either with the uncut (unpolished) rice or with the other cereals or grains that may be used with such; that is, in the soups or broths. Not too much grease, but plenty of those things that make for the body-building.

20. In the middle of the afternoon we would have two ounces of RED wine, using with same ONLY the BLACK bread, or sour bread, or rye bread.

21. Evenings - a well-cooked, well-balanced vegetable diet.

22. Be sure the eliminations are kept normal, either by the adjustments and corrections chiropractically or osteopathically, or by the use of the colonic irrigations.

23. Once or twice a day it would be well for the body to inhale into the LUNGS the FUMES (not the juice, but the FUMES) from the distillation that arises from evaporation of pure apple brandy in a charred keg. It is preferable that half a gallon of the apple brandy (pure) be put in a gallon to a gallon and a half or two gallon keg - charred keg. Prepare this with a tube in same that may be corked when not in use. Keep where the evaporation will go on and form in the space above same. Inhale the fumes through the tube, much as smoke would be inhaled, deep into the lungs - once or twice a day. The frequency of the inhaling will be governed by the reaction. In the beginning only one or two whiffs may be taken. A little bit later, as the conditions are bettered, two, three or four may be taken. But do this once or twice each day.

24. If the body will do these, follow these suggestions, we will find it will build up.

25. Ready for questions.

26. (Q) Would it be well for the body to go to the hospital? (A) It is not well for it to be CONFINED in a hospital! It should be in the open; not too much of the sunshine, but CLOSE to sunshine - shaded sufficient. These treatments will not require hospitalization; for, if the precautions and suggestions given will be followed, in six months the body should be normal and well!

27. (Q) If these suggestions are followed, where would be the best place for him? (A) Where it is the most CONGENIAL for the body; around cheerful friends and those conditions where he may be in the open. Not in the night air, but in the open a great deal.

28. (Q) Should the wife work, or be near him? (A) She may work if she so desires. The only requirements are that those things be prepared for him in the manner as indicated. Do that.

29. (Q) In what way may his sister, [310], aid in bringing about his recovery? (A) Most by insisting upon and keeping the cheerful attitudes when about or where the body may know of same; that is so necessary in such conditions.
