Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ohio. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [932].
2. Now, as we find, conditions are rather serious; and there has been a great deal of crystallization, in a manner, or a hardening of the sinew in axes of the body, disturbing the locomotion, making for the incapacitation of locomotion.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [932].
4. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY we find that for some time there have been indications of too great a quantity of that which makes for hardening of the muscles; or too much calcium. And preventing the proper gland secretion and causing others to overtax, it has gradually allowed an accumulation that has hindered the lymph circulation, and the exterior forces or superficial circulation became clogged with those properties that should have been either eliminated through the alimentary canal or through the drosses of the body - and has caused that gradual bringing about of the present conditions.
5. The body at TIMES HAS had excruciating pain when attempting to move; a drawing of the body in the tendons and muscles at others. This has made for inflammation in the NERVE FORCES, producing at times the abnormal appetites, but the foods not being assimilated properly has only made for greater distresses in the extremities - and now more in the locomotory or lumbar area and along the spine. Arms and hands at times, through the brachial center, also show the distressed area.
6. As to the functioning of the ORGANS, we find - as indicated - the condition has been more of a gland disorder, or a type of condition that arises from too great a quantity of certain properties that have been indicated and too little of others in the system.
7. Then, as we find, it will require patience, persistence,

and a very RIGID adherence to a diet, if we would bring the better conditions for this body.
8. Not a great deal of internal medicine; not even necessary in the present that there be other than that which may be applied in the home, by those about the body.
9. As changes come about, there will be the necessity of altering somewhat the applications. But we would begin with these:
10. This would be an outline for the diet, and there should be little other foods than these for at least six weeks:
11. Mornings - all the grapefruit juice, orange juice or pineapple juice that the body may take; or a large tumbler full of either of these each morning. A little whole wheat toast may be taken if desired, with a little butter, and Cocoa; or better still use Ovaltine at this meal.
12. Noons - only raw green vegetables, as tomatoes (this doesn't sound like much for this type, yet it would be well if not too much is taken; one slice or one quarter will not be too much, provided it is cut well with), lettuce, GREEN cabbage, celery, carrots, spinach, onions, radish, and the like. These GREEN, FRESH, CRISP; never any of the wilted or withered, but use more OUTSIDE leaves than inside of the vegetables or the salad leaves or the like. Such a salad may be taken with either oil or mayonnaise dressing.
13. Evenings - the vegetables that are well-cooked, and ONLY in their OWN juices; preferably in Patapar Paper - each cooked separate, THEN they may be combined as they are eaten if so desired, seasoned while hot with salt, pepper and butter. Red cabbage, the small potato but more of the peel than of the pulp, beans, celery, carrots, lentils, mustard, spinach; any or all of these, or two or three at any time. If ANY meat at all is taken, let it be only the broiled or boiled lamb, fowl or fish.
14. ADHERE to these. A little buttermilk may be taken at times, BETWEEN meals - NOT WITH the meals. A little coffee occasionally; preferably, though, use Ovaltine.
15. Begin immediately with taking drops from two solutions which would be prepared and kept separate, in this manner:
16. Add one GRAIN of Chloride of Gold to one ounce of distilled water, or in that proportion; that is, fifteen grains (in an ampule) may be added to fifteen ounces of distilled water. Keep this separate as one solution.
17. Then add ten grains of Bi-Carbonate of Soda to one ounce of distilled water, or in that proportion. Keep this separate as one solution.
932-1 Page 3
18. Begin with taking one drop of the Chloride of Gold solution and three drops of the Bi-Carbonate of Soda solution, stirred together in half a glass of water.
19. The next day take two drops of the Gold solution and four drops of the Soda solution.
20. The next day take three drops of the Gold solution and six drops of the Soda solution.
21. The next day four drops of the Gold and eight drops of the Soda solution.
22. Then rest by leaving it off one day.
23. Then begin again, but with one drop of the Gold solution and TWO drops of the Soda solution; each day increasing one drop of the Gold solution and two drops of the Soda solution, until there is being taken five drops of the Gold and ten drops of the Soda solution.
24. Then discontinue for five days.
25. Then begin again with the two solutions, taken as in the SECOND round; that is, one drop of Gold solution and two drops of the Soda solution, etc.
26. At the end of THIS period, we would check upon the conditions begun.
27. Begin immediately also, though, with taking twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays preferably) a hot bath in almost a saturated solution of Epsom Salts; as hot as can be taken, using about ten pounds of Epsom Salts to twenty gallons of water.
28. After the bath and a rubdown, massage especially across the hips and over the lower portion of the spine, across the shoulders - and from the hips come to the tips of the toes; that is, the whole of the limbs, you see, around - from the shoulders to the tips of the fingers (the massage should be in a circular motion), with a compound prepared in this manner (and put ALL of these together!):
29. To 6 ounces of Russian White Oil as the base, add - IN THE ORDER NAMED: Kerosene Oil....................1 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood...............2 ounces, Spirits of Camphor..............1 ounce, Witchhazel......................1 ounce, Oil of Mustard.................10 drops, Oil of Sassafras..............1/4 ounce. These, to be sure, will tend to separate as they stand in solution, but before using shake well together and pour a small quantity in an open, shallow container (as a saucer), and massage what the body WILL absorb.
932-1 Page 4
30. At first these rubs will be found to be irritating, as will the baths; but give the rub while the body is well covered and warm from the bath - and only AFTER the Epsom Salts baths, see?
31. When the solutions of the Gold and Soda have been taken as indicated for the three rounds, and all of these have been followed, we would then give further instructions.
32. Ready for questions.
33. (Q) How long should the body stay in the Epsom Salts baths? (A) Until the body begins to feel that the solution is getting cool; not cold, but cool. From ten to twenty minutes. Well that the body be rubbed while in the bath; rubbed TOWARD the extremities - not toward the body.
34. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (GD's note: Let us know when the three rounds are up; from taking the drops, so we may make an appointment for a Check Reading to give further instructions. If everything in the reading is not clear, be sure to let us know.)
