Time of Reading At home, 11:35 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Florida. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [934]; this we have had before.
2. Many changes have come about in the general physical forces of the body since last we had same here.
3. Conception has taken place. There needs, then, be those precautions; not only MENTALLY and physically for the body ITSELF but as to the ATTITUDE and the manner of the associations of those ABOUT the body.
4. Under the existent conditions, both physically AND mentally, a great deal of anxiety on the part of the body, [934], naturally exists.
5. And these fears, these anxieties, must be met in PATIENCE; and not in any manner that tends to excite the general nervous reaction that is so natural as the developments in the existent conditions form or make their NORMAL process.
6. Hence, while the body should rest a great deal, there should be sufficient activity for the normal functioning of the body.
7. And while there are those periods of nausea that arise from such conditions, a little usage of very light wines - NOT those that are fermented; but those of the wines that are of crushed fresh grapes, the citrus fruits of all natures - with ice - will be found to be most effective in this PARTICULAR case in preventing or in overcoming these conditions.
8. There should be, during those periods, then, the precautions as to the diets; that these carry all the foods necessary. Sufficient amount of calcium, sufficient amount of phosphorous, sufficient amount of silicon; that there may be that within the system which may supply the developments that occur SPECIFICALLY - and especially - during the first

three to six months.
9. ALSO, the attitude of those ABOUT the body should be not such as to make for the finding of fault, for animosities, or for the hurting of the feelings in any manner.
10. For while the PHYSICAL forces are developing, be mindful of that as may be attracted to those bodies through their attitude one to another.
11. For, as you each - now - are responsible for that channel through which a soul may manifest in materiality; then in love, in faith, in hope, in prayer, PREPARE that channel that THAT soul - that may be drawn through those activities that are in preparation - may be as one that may be a blessing to not only those upon whom the body is dependent, but through that it may give of itself in and as a channel of hope, of blessings, to others.
12. The diet, then, should consist oft of orange juice; the vegetables that grow under the ground - as the skins of Irish potatoes, as the oyster plant, as those vegetables that carry the elements that are so necessary and that are so much more easily assimilated through vegetables. As tomatoes and the like. These are those things that are oft as the desires of the body. For there will come times or periods when there will be the demand from the system for the elements necessary, ESPECIALLY if the mental attitude is kept hopeful, helpful.
13. KNOW that self, then, is in the position to become as INDEED a handmaid of the Lord.
14. Let thy meditations, thy activities, thy thoughts in EVERY manner be in KEEPING with that which the body would make of itself - the very BEST handmaid, the very BEST channel through which the Lord may GIVE TO the world that which will be a blessing to man.
15. Thus it will be found that these periods, these experiences, to the body - and to those about her - may become as a miracle in their lives.
16. Or, if these attitudes, these precautions are neglected, they may indeed become as crimes before themselves; and offer a channel through which the expression of those influences that are seeking manifestation - lowly though they be - can enter.
17. PRAY ye oft, then, in those manners - EACH of you - that this may be indeed a GLORIOUS expression!
18. STAY CLOSE TOGETHER! knowing that this is an equal expression of each. And - TOGETHER - present yourselves before the Lord!
19. We are through.
