Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
2. As we find, there are acute conditions arising from congestion and infectious forces in the blood supply, and a neuralgic condition - or from congestion and infection there is a neuralgic effect in the organs of the pelvis and in the alimentary canal.
3. These in the alimentary canal become a reflex condition, while the neuralgia and the congestion and infection are through the organs of the pelvis.
4. As we find, these may be aided in bringing about relief; but unless there are a great many changes and great precautions taken, there must eventually be operative forces if the body would be saved from a great deal of suffering and a carrier of disturbing forces that would be detrimental to the health of the body and to those about it.
5. In the beginning we would first prepare an Atomidine douche; one level tablespoonful to a quart of water. Do not guess at the temperature, but have the water a hundred and five degrees - hot, see? Then add to use in a Fountain Syringe, retaining as much of this in the vagina as possible, for as long a period as possible before expulsion of same.
6. Immediately apply after same a combination of these: Mutton Suet or Mutton Tallow, dissolved. To this add equal parts of Spirits of Turpentine, Spirits of Camphor and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Mix these thoroughly together. Massage over the lower portion of the abdomen, through the groins, across the back. And apply then salt heat, or salt packs. And have these as warm as possible, and using a pad - front AND back - about medium or low heat. Keep these on until the nausea and the pains are relieved.
7. On the morrow we would also take the douche again. If the pains continue, then it will be necessary that these applications be made again.

8. If there is the response, it will not be necessary for operative forces. But if these continue, and become more severe and more infectious, it will be necessary that there be hospitalization and operative measures.
9. Do these.
10. In the matter of the diet, keep those foods that are easy of assimilation. Beef juices, or malted milks and the like - these are the better for the body. A liquid and semi- liquid diet for two to three to four days.
11. Necessary, to be sure, that the eliminations be kept through the alimentary canal. These naturally make for sympathetic reactions. Rather than cathartics, take enemas; these, though, should be BODY temperature and should be with soda AND salines. Have a removal or activity from the alimentary canal at least every day, even though it's only flushing with the enemas.
12. Do that.
13. Of course, any sedatives that may be taken to aid in relieving the pain make for greater congestion, but may be necessary. These should be given under the direction of a physician rather than just taken. Silosan tablets are too severe, while Aspirin is not sufficiently strong without disturbing the circulation. Codeine would be preferable, but ONLY under the direction of a physician.
14. Ready for questions.
15. (Q) What may be done to relieve the nausea? (A) This, as given, is reflex. Heat for all of these, but with antiseptics and with those things indicated. Once or twice a day with the douches. Should these relieve, then they should be kept up until after there has been at least the second period of eliminations through the whole system - or the periodicals, see? Second period of same. Of course, these cannot be given through such periods, but afterwards.
