Time of Reading 11:55 to 12:10 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., Conn.
1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions which will be submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [935]; this we have had before.
3. There is quite a variation in the disturbances as we find with this body at present and that before.
4. Those before as we find were a disturbance in the glandular forces related to the superficial circulation, and the activity especially of the thyroids deficient.
5. In the present we find there is a deflection in the circulatory forces, yet relating to the deep or to more of the alimentary canal, as well as the disturbances indicated in the lower portions of the alimentary canal - or in the anus area of the rectal disturbance there.
6. These as we find come from the lack of the proper consideration in the diets, as well as the circulatory forces in the activity of the liver itself.
7. As we find, these require not necessarily operative measures.
8. If there is the desire on the part of the body that these be eliminated immediately, THEN have the operation - and be sorry for it for a good long period later!
9. But these may be eliminated if there will be the persistent and consistent application of these measures which we will indicate:
10. There should be the proper considerations of the diet, and also as to the proper eliminations.
11. For the eliminations we would use a vegetable compound, - not so much as to cause irritation or bleeding, but such as a compound carrying Senna, or Syrup of Senna, as combined with Syrup of Figs. These would react as an eliminant, as well as act upon the liver.
12. Also about twice a week we would use an enema. The

first cleansing solution for such an enema would contain an Atomidine solution; that is, a teaspoonful of commercial strength Atomidine would be added to a pint of water, and this would be put in a QUART of water containing a level teaspoonful of baking soda and a heaping teaspoonful of table salt, stirred well before using. The water for such irrigation should be body-temperature.
13. Then in the last water used - for rinsing the colon - there would be used rather a heavy quantity of Glyco-Thymoline (or more than ordinary), as an antiseptic; that is, at least a tablespoonful to the quart of water used, see!
14. Such an enema would be taken with a small tube, of course, so as to prevent irritation to the rectal disturbance.
15. After the last water used for the enema (carrying the Glyco-Thymoline), we would follow same with the injection of TIM as an ointment.
16. Also we would have osteopathic corrections made of the subluxations which exist in the lumbar and sacral area. These will relieve those other disturbances of the heaviness to the limbs, as well as the disturbance through the alimentary canal.
17. An excellent exercise for the body to take, which will also aid in making for better adjustments as the osteopathic manipulations are administered, would be:
18. Of morning upon arising, and evening before retiring, - stand erect, gradually raise the hands high above the head, straight up. Gradually rise on the toes. Then bend forward, gently, easily. Repeat this three times, at least. Bend as far forward as possible, even to touching floor if possible.
19. As to the diet - have one meal each day consist principally of raw, fresh vegetables. Not too much of meats; only have fish, fowl or lamb as the meats; letting the diet consist more of vegetables than of other things; and keep away from pastries and sweetmeats.
20. Do these, and we will find relief from these disturbances.
