Born July 9, 1905, in Kansas City, Mo. Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C. (Life Reading Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the entity and those relations with the universe and universal forces, that are latent and manifested in the personalities of the entity now known as or called [938].
2. In giving that interpretation of the records here for this entity, well that there be given some of those manners in which the records are made - and the interpretation of same. This would be well in order that the entity might know, by the experiences within self, as to that source from which it comes - and the manner in which it may be applied or made practical in the experience in the present.
3. For Life and its expressions are one. Each soul or entity will and does return, or cycle, as does nature in its manifestations about man; thus leaving, making or presenting - as it were - those infallible, indelible truths that it - Life - is continuous. And though there may be a few short years in this or that experience, they are one; the soul, the inner self being purified, being lifted up, that it may be one with that first cause, that first purpose for its coming into existence.
4. And though there may be those experiences here and there, each has its relationships with that which has gone before, that is to come. And there has been given to each soul that privilege, that choice, of being one with the Creative Forces. And the patterns that have been set as marks along man's progress are plain. NONE mount higher than that which has been left in Him who made that intercession for man, that man through Him might have the advocate with the Father. And those truths, those tenets - yea, those promises - that have been set in Him, are true; and may be the experience of each and every soul, as each entity seeks, strives, tries, desires to become and pursues the way of
938-1 Page 2
becoming one with Him.
5. For the words that He has given are simple, "Inasmuch as ye do it unto the least, ye do it unto me."
6. Then, as there has been and is the passage of a soul through time and space, through this and that experience, it has been and is for the purpose of giving more and more opportunities to express that which justifies man in his relationships one with another; in mercy, love, patience, long-suffering, brotherly love.
7. For these be the fruits of the spirit, and they that would be one with Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
8. Then in the study, in the meditating upon that as may be presented from thine records here, look to these in that way and manner; knowing that we as souls can of ourselves do nothing save the Spirit giveth utterance, permission, or furnisheth the opportunity. But as we use what is given in this or that experience, expression or manifestation, then may and doth the Lord give the greater opportunities.
9. As to those things then that become as signs, omens, destined forces that are set before the entity from and by its advent into the earth's experience at this particular period, we find:
10. These from the astrological, numerological and all the phases of those things that man has set as signs, are as good omens to the entity. While there be some in the material experiences that appear as such, from man's judgement, there have been the opportunities that have been embraced by the entity.
11. And now, in the heyday of the excess and the experiences of the entity in the present, if these are used for self-indulgences they may become as the stumblingblocks in the way of progress.
12. If they are used in that manner to show forth His love as He has promised, then may peace and harmony, joy and contentment enter the heart, the soul of the entity - and bring that peace that passeth understanding.
13. Entering in at this time, we find the entity coming under those influences of Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus, Neptune, and Venus.
14. These from their very aspects are not because of their position, but rather their position was such because the entity had sojourned within the environs of those elements that make for expressions or manifestations of that one spiritual influence which moves, which makes for beings in the mental world, the material world.
15. As from out the spiritual through the mental and into
938-1 Page 3
the material do the souls move in their progress towards that eternal oneness which is sought by all.
16. Jupiter makes for those great abilities of the entity in its associations with the masses, in associations with the individuals of groups, the individuals of class, the individuals of mass, in their relationships to not only the activities of the entity but for the beauty and the ability of expression in same.
17. Mercury makes for the mental capacities that are innate within the entity, from not only its sojourns in the earth (as will be seen) but through the astrological sojourns also; high mental capacities in GIVEN directions.
18. To the entity those things that deal with minutia, detail, economics, or the representation of ideals in a material expression, or with finance - or that have to do with same, are as expressions of a portion of the entity's experience and associations with others. Yet ever does and will the entity find that it leans heavily upon those very groups, masses, classes, the public, for ITS OWN expressions in EVERY direction.
19. The Uranian influence we find makes for a high occult or psychic force; or SOUL force, rather than the ordinary term of psychic.
20. It makes for those expressions or experiences, too, when the entity may be very high in its ambitions; and yet at other periods even for a moment it would cast away many opportunities for the satisfying or gratifying of an expression.
21. Hence with such omens or experiences there are times when it becomes necessary that there be a very sureness in the activities as to the relationships of the entity; when the ideals of the entity must, as it were, set a pace, a rate, the tempo to which it must go.
22. We find also that Neptune and its influence makes for the association near large bodies of water, the crossing of water, the relationships with those things that have to do with water. These will bring not only the very highest in the emotional, in the mental and the material things, but will also bring the sorrows, the disappointments.
23. And those that deal with same should be in the company or association of the entity in all of its dealings and relationships with a material world. For the vibrations - as it were - from those sojourns there (Neptune), and relationships with individuals who have to do with a commercial relationship with peoples abroad or those that float upon the mighty waters, have a great influence in the experience.
938-1 Page 4
24. The Venus or love's influence makes for something of the gentleness that - behind ALL of those turmoils, as it were - has been the saving grace to the entity. And may it grow and be magnified in the present!
25. For LOVE of the fellow man, LOVE of the beautiful, LOVE of the expressions of Him who was the expression and the very essence of Love itself, makes for the greater growth in the experience of each and every soul!
26. Then, as to the appearances in the earth and those that influence the entity in the present, we find:
27. Before this the entity was in the earth during those periods when there were the settlings of the lands of the present nativity, and when there were those who journeyed from the eastern lands towards the west; that is the nativity of the entity in the present.
28. The entity was among those who made for a helpfulness to many by the very spirit of comradeship, companionship; that was expressed in the poetry, the song, the singing, the abilities of the entity as Hazel Overman (Overtman) (?). It made for the aiding in gathering those together as they journeyed in their way, as they went about making for the settlements in the land.
29. And many of those whom the entity has contacted in the present, those who have aided, bring for the entity those things that may make for the security in the inmost self; that the abilities, strength of body and of mind, the determination to hold to the purposefulness, have come from those that by word, by act, have counseled with and aided in the present experience.
30. The greater portion of the entity's activity was for the development during that sojourn, and brought for others that which was helpful, hopeful in their experience.
31. And thus in the present may the greater opportunities come for the entity to give expression of that which - in not only the emotional life but into the mental and the thinking life of those whom the entity may contact in this or that way or manner - may bring helpful experiences.
32. Before that we find the entity was in that now known as the Roman-Grecian period, when there were the gatherings of those from the Grecian life to the Roman; and those attempts for the gatherings of many of the tenets of the Grecians for the Romans' application.
33. The entity then was among those peoples in the Grecian land that aided in HELPFULNESS towards those that would make application in the Roman experiences of what had proven to be the glorious portion of the Grecian development; that of honesty to self, purity of purpose, beauty of body,
938-1 Page 5
SINGLENESS of purpose in the relationships to the groups, the masses.
34. Hence the entity finds in the present that routine, ORDER, though at times becoming rather a heaviness upon the entity, makes for that assurance within self and in its dealings with those relationships to all of its activity the greater joy, the greater activity, the greater blessings.
35. Hold FAST; but temper all with mercy.
36. The name then was Celestes.
37. Before that we find the entity was in what is now known as or called the Egyptian land, during those periods when many of those from the Atlantean land came to the Egyptian land.
38. It was when there were turmoils and strifes among the natives, and when there were the beginnings of the reconstruction later and the aiding of those that were making for the rejuvenating and correlating of the tenets from India, Mongolia, the Inca, the Iodians (?), even from the northern lands - or Auk (?).
39. The entity then was of the Atlantean peoples that rose by the aid as brought by the leaders of the Atlanteans, in coordinating with the Priest of Egypt. And the entity, with the abilities in its speech with many, made for the correlating of those tenets in many lands for the BEAUTIFUL portions of their temple service, their political activities, and the relationships of same to those in the varied lands.
40. The name was first Aslelea; when beginning in the Egyptian activities, with the travels throughout the many portions of the lands, it was then changed to Hat-She-Poi; meaning, 'She that bound those together for oneness of activity.'
41. Then, as to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain - and how:
42. As the blessings of the universal forces, the Creative Energies, have been thine in thine aid to thy fellow man in their singleness of activity, so may the application of self be in making for or tempering the emotions - of the mental, of those influences that are the builders in human experience.
43. For the MIND is the Builder. If the purposes, desires and aims of that mind are selfish, then littleness, narrowness, and those things that make for discouragement and disagreements arise. If they are for the expression of the beautiful, the desire for making the mental experience to become as an expression of the glory and the oneness of the Creative Forces or energies called God, then may the
938-1 Page 6
life, the experiences, grow more and more beautiful in all thy activities day by day.
44. As the thoughts of others were in the command or lead throughout, so the life, the experience of the greater portion of this sojourn may be spent most in bringing helpful admonition; in song, in verse, in activity, to the masses - in every land, in every clime.
45. For, "As ye do it unto these, my little ones, ye do it unto me."
46. Let thy activities, then, thy abilities, bring joy and happiness to others.
47. Ready for questions.
48. (Q) Am I justified in my dislike for the woman who upsets me so much? (A) Justified by what? "As ye do it unto those, my children, ye do it unto me." There should be more love, more loving indifference shown by self, in respect to the individual. For ye have much to meet together. Let HIM - let HIM direct thy justifying. "I will repay saith the Lord." Then, art thou justified? Stand rather justified before Him, in thy dealings, in thy judgements, in thy activities. For to think, to act, as if THOU art lord or master is to belittle and degrade thine better self.
49. (Q) Has she any REAL reason for talking and acting the way she does? (A) These arise from experiences where associations have made for the abilities of the self being such that the lauding by others has brought torments to the other. Hence be patient; be loving WITH those that would do thee harm. It is but pouring coals of fire upon their heads, and will bring to thee the greater satisfaction. For if THOU dost conduct THYSELF, thy thoughts, thy acts, so that the LORD be on THY side, who can be against thee? ACT the more often, then, that though they make for discourteous, unkind remarks, the LORD loveth rather him that can speak GENTLY to those that would do thee harm.
50. (Q) Will she aid or interfere with my future happiness? (A) Dependent upon the manner in which the self MEETS those experiences. Turn - TURN the other cheek, when thy enemy, thy friend, would smite thee. Let the Lord have His way, and ye will find it will turn to a HELPFULNESS in the experience.
938-1 Page 7
51. (Q) Should I marry? If so, when? (A) To marry is well. To marry not, under some experiences, is better. Much THOU hast given to the world, to thy fellow man; much thou art able to give. In wedded life there should be the singleness of purpose. And these cannot be divided. To be wedded UNDER or before two more years will bring hardships, discouragements; for it will make for factional experiences in thine associations and relations. After that, many things will have changed; many conditions will have clarified themselves. WAIT, then, for that.
52. (Q) Will I find as much happiness in marriage as I have found in my work? (A) More happiness in the present will be found in the work, as given. After that, BUILD a home! Do not try to do both.
53. (Q) Am I doing the right work, or would I be better in another line of business? (A) In the right work; the greater opportunities, the greater abilities are shown, for the next two years, in the present work. Let the light of His countenance rest upon thee and bring thee peace. Let His ways be thy ways. Let joy and happiness be ever in thy word, in thy song. Let HOPEFULNESS, helpfulness, ever be thy guide. The Lord is thy shepherd; let Him keep thy ways.
