1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find there are conditions that have been disturbing the body for some times back. These are from specific conditions, as well as disorders that have brought about FUNCTIONAL and organic disorder. These, as we find, have to do with the eliminations of the system, and the organs of elimination, as well as the circulation and the attempts to adjust the eliminations, thus producing in the blood supply - and in the change between the supplying of the body and the return of the blood supply, by supplying the body to the organs for the eliminations and for the new activities in the system - the disorders as exist in the lymph and emunctories of the system, PRODUCING those conditions in the capillaries, or in the body itself, in the form of that as may be termed as an eczema, or as that of a form that produces such conditions from one diet, that is not wholly supplying nutriment to the system, or from that as produced by the hepatic circulation becoming so involved that the lobes of the liver themselves produce a spotted appearance, hardening in portions of same, kidneys becoming enlarged and overtaxed as to eliminations, bladder becoming irritated for the amount of acids as are being eliminated, toxemia in the intestinal system, producing same effect in the emunctories and lymphatics, causing a depression or lowness in pulsation, a high blood pressure, and an activity in the eliminations of the respiratory system to be overcharged. THESE are conditions as we find. There has remained for some periods those depressions in the lumbar and sacral region, as well as a pressure in the pelvic organs themselves. These are the beginning, but are at present more secondary in appearance, but are the causes, or first causes, in the disorders.
2. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions in the present - for, as we find, unless there are some changes in the very near future, there must come those disintegrations in the whole system. In meeting, then, the needs in the present, while it will be necessary for some very strenuous
947-1 Page 2
activity, these should NOT be so strenuous in the beginning as to produce so much counter-irritation that the physical forces will not be able to stand same - see? So, we would begin as in this manner:
3. First we would use those of the high irrigations - see? These should not be too often, but sufficiently often to prevent so much toxic forces and pressures in the lumbar and sacral region, as producing inflammation, as well as those of poisons from the system being attempted to be eliminated in circulation (pulmonary), and in the kidneys. These, when given (the high irrigations, or colonics), we would use THIS in the solutions: In the first injections, or first half gallon or gallon of water, we would put at least a level teaspoonful of salt, preferably iodized salt; also a heaping tablespoonful of baking soda. When these have been used to the first or second portion of the colon, and are eliminated or ejected, we would then in the NEXT gallon use at least an OUNCE of Glyco-Thymoline; and when THIS has been ejected, and has reached almost to the caecum area, in the next we would use two tablespoonsful of Petrolagar (the alkalin). STIR this well as it is being taken, see?
4. We would, for this disorder in the liver area, use those packs of the mullein leaves over the liver area - see? Heat the waters and put the green leaves (bruised) in same, covering same for a few minutes - have the water poured over the leaves almost BOILING, or boiling water. Wring these out as hot as may be stood by the hands, and lay over the liver area, placing a heavy pack or cloth over same.
5. We would take internally, alternately, Glyco-Thymoline - three to five drops - and the Yellow Saffron Tea. These would be taken alternately in the water as taken, and drink plenty of water.
6. We would also, from the beginning, begin with those of the manipulations, GENTLY given, every other day, over the whole system. As the ELIMINATIONS are improved, GRADUALLY make corrections in the lumbar and sacral area.
7. In the diet, beware of sweets, coffees or teas. Those that would be taken would be as these:
8. Mornings - citrus fruit juices, with little dry toast and milk, or milk toast - not BOIL the milk, but just heated sufficiently to be properly palatable, and have plenty of salt with same.
9. Noons - the fresh vegetable diet, which may be made into a salad, and use as many of the green vegetables as may be used, see? At other times, in this same meal, there may be used the stewed fruits, figs, prunes, prune-whip - any of those that are relaxing in the eliminations.
947-1 Page 3
10. Evenings - vegetables that are WELL cooked, carrying some weight; that is, for the stomach and intestines, see, as well as carrying iron, silicon, phosphorus and the like - see? but no meats, unless fish occasionally - but NOT shell fish!
11. After these have been kept - that is, these outlines for the body - for ten days, then we would give a more STRENUOUS treatment; that is, where we may bring the ELIMINATIONS to a higher point, activity of the liver. These must be stimulated with all the olive oil the body may take, see? and we may begin THEN with very small quantities of Sweet Spirits of Nitre for the kidney and bladder area see? Also use the Petrolagar as an eliminant.
12. For those conditions or abrasions in the skin, on the face and over the body - or portions of body - we would use the violet ray, STIMULATING - see - with the violet ray - those centers in the cerebrospinal system from which the PORTIONS in the skin, or face, or hands, or arms, or body (as it is), are active from the cerebrospinal system; that is, as for face, in the 1st and 2nd DORSAL and in the whole of the cervical area; not so much on those portions where abrasions show themselves. Do that. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) Would once a week be sufficient for the irrigation, or should it be oftener? (A) In the BEGINNING, about twice a week would be better, until three or four, or five, had been taken - then they may be given once every ten days, or once every two weeks, until we have changed the conditions. After the first ten days, leave off those packs, when we begin with the oil taken internally - see?
14. (Q) How long at a time should the packs be kept on? (A) If the pack is made heavy - that is, three to four layers, and this allowed to stay on until it is well cooled, which would require from thirty to forty, to sixty minutes.
15. (Q) This should be done once each day? (A) Done once each day.
16. (Q) How often should the violet ray be applied? (A) That we haven't got to! That's ten days off yet! Then we will begin, or give these about every second or third day, following the manipulation treatments.
