Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [949]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, there are many changes in the physical forces of the body since last we had same here. Many are for improvements, some show not a great deal of change. In others we have acute conditions where disturbances have arisen. But these as we find in the most part (the acute disturbances) are being met by the general conditions in the system.

3. However, there may be suggestions as to make for corrections in these directions that will be for the betterment of the general conditions.

4. These then are conditions as we find them with this body, [949] we are speaking of:

5. The general developments of the body as related to the circulatory system or blood supply are fairly good. Owing to the acute conditions, the upsetting of the digestive forces the more recently, there are naturally in the present those inclinations for these disturbances - which as we find arose from acute disturbance in the digestive forces of the body and forming from same in the combinations of the diet the disturbance as of gas, a bit of nausea, a little bit of headache, and the natural result in the circulation of a fullness or thumping as it might be said in the circulation itself; tendencies of a feverish disturbance.

6. These to be sure have been local, they have been acute, they are gradually being changed by the system adjusting itself.

7. But if the suggestions for the general diet are adhered to, these may be eliminated and the general conditions made for better forces of the body.

8. The nervous forces and system as we find are showing a much better response even through those areas where the disturbances in times back have been indicated, showing a greater change in the circulation. And necessarily with the

949-5 Page 2

circulation must go nervous reactions. These, too, as we find may be materially aided in their general build up and helpfulness for the general system.

9. The specific organs of the body:

10. Brain forces as we find are still very good. The reactions from without, from within, are very good. Their coordinations at times have not been kept in accord with that as has been once outlined, yet these are choices of the imaginative as well as the developing body and mind. Thus they are to be used by same in the ways and means as seemeth well.

11. Yet much might be given as to the mental and spiritual abilities.

12. In the physical forces, then:

13. We would use the Radio-Active Appliance; we find this would be the more preferable for this body at this time. This to be taken each day for a thirty minute to an hour period. Preferably have a period for same in the afternoon, as the body rests. And during such a period make this the time not for conversation but rather meditating upon the possibilities, the probabilities, upon the Infinite as it relates to and interrelates with constructive forces within the minds of individuals. Form for self a philosophy from what may be the promptings of the self as related to constructive influences in a material world as it deals with the relation ships of man to man.

14. Let these be the thoughts and activities: Nothing better may be followed than that as has been given by Moses, Joshua, David, the prophets, and Jesus. In these we will find that which may produce and is the beauty of nature, the love in man's experience for his fellow man; the applications not only for the hope of the material world, but beauties of the hereafter, but the continuation of Life in its experiences - may all be had by those studies as in the 30th chapter or last of Deuteronomy; especially the 4th, 5th, 7th of Joshua and the last of same; the 1st and 2nd Psalm, the 24th, the 91st, the 23rd, the 150th - all of these proclaim that as may be man's experience; and are constructive in creating songs or vibrations for beauty in nature or in the dealings of man to man.

15. In the material applications other than the Appliance, we find that the exercise is well for the body of every nature - and to be sure as much in the open as possible. That which makes for the use of the body but without too great a strain is helpful.

16. As to the digestive forces - be mindful of the diets; that these are kept more alkalin for the system. Beware of

949-5 Page 3

combinations of too much starches and too much sweets at the same time; or beware of fried foods of any nature. Beware of white bread, potatoes, spaghetti or things of this nature - any two at one meal or in the one combination. Do not eat too much of nuts at the same time sea foods are taken, for these do not combine well with the digestive forces in this body; but nuts in their regular place - especially almonds, filberts, pecans - are well for the body.

17. In the massage and rubs - as we find these treatments would not only be helpful for the conditions of the eyes but for the locomotion. These we would have done preferably by the osteopathic adjustments, as related to the upper dorsal and through the cervical area for the helpful forces for the sensory organisms. Not too often; these once a week or once this week, skip next week and twice the next week, would be rather the manners or means. And they should be rather specific in those upper portions, but include in these also the corrections - or the relaxations rather than corrections - through the lumbar and through the limb that has been or is under distress or underdeveloped.

18. We would use for self the massage with oils, preferably just before retiring of evening - not every day but do not become lax in the routine. Use equal portions of Camphorated Oil and Mutton Suet; not boiled together but heated together. Do not allow to come to a boil, because the fumes of the alcohol in the Camphorated Oil would be carried off, but heat so they will Mix the better together. Massage all the limb and the feet (or foot) will absorb. These will be the more helpful.

19. Ready for questions.

20. (Q) Are swimming, golf, squash, bowling, horse-back riding suitable? (A) As indicated, all outdoor exercises are wonderful. Do not overtax self at any.

21. (Q) Is the treatment I have been using for my eyes (the solution and drops) good for my condition? (A) We find that the better would be to take the applications as we have suggested here, and then use only an antiseptic that might be given by the one making the applications - and not compounds, see? For the clearing of those tendencies for inflammations. But when corrections ar made in those centers from which the optics obtain their impulses, these conditions should clear.

22. (Q) Was the severe cramp I had the result of something disagreeing with me? (A) As has been indicated, this arose from a very bad

949-5 Page 4

combination - and was an acute condition. These effects are gradually being cared for. Precautions should be in those directions as given, as to the less of acid and the more of the alkalins - or the balance; not all alkalin, to be sure, but the balance will make for the better conditions. Do as has been indicated.

23. (Q) Is there any grit in the "Pyavin" tooth powder that I use? (A) This is very good, but as we find the better would be a mixture of salt and soda - equal portions; there is no better dentifrice!
