1. EC: Now, we find the conditions in this body have been gradually and are gradually on the improve. There is only necessary that the adjustments in the dorsal be perfected when the functioning of the organs thus affected by this condition of non-alignment in the spinal column when the organs will function to their normal condition and manifestations to correct conditions in the system.

2. For the condition as gives trouble in the rectum at the present time, we would use a solution or a salve of this character: Take four ounces of butter (without salt, or fresh butter) just churned, and reduce by application of heat to the oil of butterfat. To this we would add three minims of Mentholatum and six grains of Pulverized Tobacco, with two grains of White Castile Soap. Mix this all well together and use as a lotion. [GD's note: This was an early simple formula for the hemorrhoid compound which was later referred to in the readings as TIM - See [1800] series for other more complicated descriptions of the formula.]

3. Let the diet be kept in accord with the body in its daily environment, and never taking food in the system when the body is, through its mental faculties, worried or wrought beyond the ordinary functioning of the digestive tract proper, for the depression in mental and the inconvenience, rather than pain, that has been felt in the right side, and in and below the right lobe of liver, is caused from such conditions having existed in the system when digestion was taking place. This, we see, with the condition existing, forces the functioning abnormal of the gastric juices, especially, as is created in the duodenum in the pyloric end of stomach from the hypogastric and pneumogastric centers, causing the trouble experienced in the intestinal tract and the excitement to activity of the functioning of the kidneys.

4. Follow these instructions as given, and in a persistent and consistent manner, with adjustments being corrected, as has been given, we will bring the normal forces to this body, [953].
