Time of Reading 3:50 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [954]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, the greater distress in the present is an acute condition from hemorrhoids. This as we find is better NOT operated upon, if there is the ability to produce the reducing of the swelling and the irritation; and this as we find may be accomplished with a little rest (that is, stay off the feet) and the exercises, with sitz baths of salt water.

3. IF the sitz baths are taken in a tub, or however taken, the proportions would be about a tablespoonful of the salt to a gallon of water - or to each gallon of water used. Thoroughly dissolve, and have tepid, then a sitz bath of same.

4. The exercises would be standing erect, the feet about a foot apart, easily and gently raise the arms just as high above the head as possible, even rising just a bit on toes, and then slowly bend forward as near as possible towards touching the floor. Do this about twice or three times a day. This kept up for the body after this has been diminished and the condition relieved will be helpful also.

5. Use not too profusely but profusely sufficient that there may be not only the external use of Tim but internal also.

6. Operative forces for this body now are not so well, if this can be avoided; owing to the shock to the system.

7. These measures used as indicated, though, we should find within twenty-four hours entire relief.

8. In the general conditions of the body we find much improvements.

9. There is the need that there be the occasional loosening along the cerebrospinal system, that the whole of the circulation may be relieved so that the nerve tensions, the pressures, the influence of anxieties upon the circulation may be relieved. These we would not neglect.

10. Ready for questions.
