This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of November, 1926, in accordance with request made by his mother, Mrs. [wife of [4124]].

1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body that I will ask you.

2. EC: Yes, this body we have had here before. The suggestions as given only in attitude have been carried out. Changes as were suggested have not been done. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) What is the condition of the hearing? (A) As has been given, there are those conditions in the mental attitude of the body, and of those connections with the reproductive glands in the system, that in their excessive action have produced in the sensory system those conditions that hinder the auditory condition, and this is seen in the 1st and 2nd cervical and along the Eustachian Tubes. No amount of action with the exterior ear will assist, but to massage the Eustachian Tubes and to open same up - this will assist with the correction of conditions in the general physical health of body. As was given, this correction should first be made. Then with these corrections would be given those corrections in specific centers. This should be done osteopathically, see?

4. (Q) When was the beginning of this condition? (A) This condition began with the first development of the body from the boyhood stage, see?

5. (Q) What is the physical responsibility that was referred to in the reading of the 11th day of August, 1926? (A) That of the parent care for the moral condition of the child as respect to self and sex.

6. (Q) What mental responsibility do you refer to? (A) That control over same as lies between parent and child - child and parent, for stubbornness or willfulness in the individual is seen, and the desire in self innate, as it were, to be contrary-wise to the filial control, see?

7. (Q) What is the strain that is now produced on the nerve system? (A) That as has been given.

8. (Q) What change in the surroundings of the individual is recommended?

(A) That as will bring about those opening up the moral responsibilities of the entity to self and to others, as has been indicated and outlined in that as has been given, see? that is, awaken the individual to that as is and will be produced in the system by the not full control of mental and physical being, and bringing the entity more closely to the spiritual aspects of life in its development, see?

9. (Q) Who should do the approaching, the mother or the father? (A) Mother could and would in the better manner. Better that both in their own field of expression and of endeavor, but the disposition of the entity, the developing child or young man, is as of that nature as will be necessary that these work in conjunction, but entirely separate. Never referring to one another, save as the duty the individual owes each, see?
