Time of Reading 3:35 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Chicago, Ill. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [964].
2. As we find, there are rather the complications of disorders that disturb the better physical functioning of the body. While in the present there are some bettered conditions, in others they are not so well.
3. And as we find, a change to meet the needs or to make for a more coordinating of the WHOLE physical responses would be better for the body.
4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [964] we are speaking of:
5. There is in the BLOOD SUPPLY an unbalancing through the formations that have been as accumulations in portions of the system, producing a form of toxic forces or influences that have made for the tendency for indigency in the functioning of the assimilating forces of the body.
6. These, as we find, arise more from specific conditions that have come from pressures in the lumbar area; the after effect of conditions from childbirth, that made for the tissue becoming as lesions. Then the pressures upon the nervous system made for the period through which the body has passed, of being incapacitated in its activities in the lower portion of its body. There is the inability for the assimilating of foods as taken into the system, and the production of overacidity in the blood supply; making for the disorders in portions of the system as indicated.
7. The effect upon the NERVOUS SYSTEM has been that at times or at periods there were temperatures, while at others there was a coma; at others great irritation and pain through a great deal of the system; varying according to the cycle of activity of the various organs in the system.
8. These are as pressures upon both the cerebrospinal and the vegetative or sympathetic nervous systems.
9. As to the activity of the ORGANS themselves:
10. There have been periods when the mental reactions were
964-1 Page 2
at varience to the better activities, and the tendency for the body to become very much discouraged, melancholy, and at others extravagant in its activities, in its speech, in its manner of activity.
11. In the organs of the torso do we find the GREATER disturbance, as we have indicated, from pressures in the pelvic organs, and then the reactions to the assimilating system.
12. All of these working together upon the nerve forces of the body have brought and do bring about disturbances in the organs. These have varied according to the activities.
13. As we would find, these we would apply in the present:
14. First we would have the manipulations that would be more along those lines of the nerve or NEUROPATHIC nerve reactions, you see, in a massage.
15. Not that we would discontinue some of those properties that have been given as medical properties, but GRADUALLY decrease with these as the manipulations are given neuropathically.
16. We would make specific treatments in the lumbar, the coccyx, and coordinating the upper dorsal and cervical area with the relieving of the pressures in the lumbar-coccyx area.
17. We would also use the Wet Cell Battery Appliance, attached to the body in this manner:
18. The anode with the copper plate would be attached first, to the 4th lumbar.
19. The nickel plate would be attached last, over the umbilicii plexus.
20. The treatment would be for thirty minutes each evening when ready for retiring for the night.
21. Each evening following the Appliance treatment, MASSAGE the body thoroughly along the cerebrospinal system, the limbs, extending to the arms and lower limbs, you see, with a compound prepared in this way and manner:
22. To 4 ounces of Russian White Oil, add (In the order named): Witchhazel...................1 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood............1 ounce, Spirits of Camphor...........1 ounce, Coal Oil, or the Oil of Petroleum.........1 ounce, Oil of Wintergreen.........1/2 ounce, Sassafras Oil..............1/4 ounce.
23. Of course, these will separate in solution when standing. But shake together before being used, pouring only sufficient in a saucer that will be absorbed by the body in
964-1 Page 3
massaging.
24. Do this after the Appliance treatment each evening.
25. The manipulations or neuropathic treatments would be about three times each week, such as Kapple would give.
26. In the matter of the diet, keep a more alkalin-reacting diet with body-building properties.
27. So, for the body-building, we would take the Liver Extract (Valentine's preferably).
28. And we would let one meal each day consist entirely of raw fresh vegetables, with the oil or mayonnaise.
29. When necessary use the colonic to prevent the fecal forces from causing poisons or accumulations in the system.
30. Do these things for thirty to thirty-six days. Then we would give further instructions.
31. Ready for questions.
32. (Q) Has the treatment and care during the past few years been proper for her condition? (A) These have at times been proper and at other times, as indicated, have brought distresses. We would change somewhat; doing these things as indicated for this period, and then we would give further instructions.
33. (Q) Which of the medicinal properties now being used should be continued? (A) Those that make for the rest periods, you see; though we will find these will not be so necessary with the use of the Wet Appliance Battery forces to equalize the circulation through the body. Of course, this Wet Cell Appliance would have to be recharged, as the charge will only last through the period of the thirty-six days; but then we would give further instructions as to how this would be recharged, or as to how the preparations would then be made for its use.
34. We are through for the present. Copy to Husband " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] with directions for the neuropathic treatments. We do not know Dr. Kapple [W. Lee Kapple, N.D.] personally, but he has reported results from following the Reading directions for those who have gone to him. See letter [which was enclosed] to the Reilly Service with specifications for the Wet Cell Battery Appliance. See Alkalin-Reacting Diet List [which was enclosed].)
