Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern War Time. New York City.
1. GC: You will have before you [967], born August 15, 1893, in Delaware County, Merridale, New York, also the information which has been given the entity in her Life Reading of August 2, 1935. The entity seeks a Mental and Spiritual Reading with information, advice and guidance as to how she may further make practical application of her abilities in this life. You will then answer the questions she submits, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the entity, [967], and that which has been indicated as to the abilities of this entity.
3. In giving advice or counsel, it is well that the entity first take stock of self, as to what its ideals are - spiritually, mentally, materially.
4. To be sure, the entity recognizes that there are the two great forces manifested in the experience of individuals, just as indicated first by the lawgiver and then by the Master Himself: There is today set before thee good and evil, life and death. There are the manifestations of each of these influences, as expressed in Him who is the life and the light of the world, who gave that these were the works whereby there was manifested unto the world the power of the All Creative Force.
5. He recognized all those influences in the earth that brought evil, whether manifesting as a dis-ease of body or of mind, or in the form of disease, or in jealousy, hate, malice, backbiting, or all those things that are the fruits of that spirit - as death. These take many forms.
6. As indicated for the entity, there are those abilities within the self to choose by what spirit or power ye may make manifest thy activities. Whether unto the glory of the material things or the spiritual depends upon the choice made. Ye cannot serve two masters at once, for ye will hate one and love the other.
7. So long as ye are in the earth, as He gave, there are tribulations to be experienced. But in the ideal - in
967-3 Page 2
spirit, in mind, in activity - we find that He overcame the world.
8. Within the experience of self, then, as ye choose - with those activities which come about thee, know Who and What is thy ideal.
9. As the warnings have been given of old, try ye the spirits, and they that are not of Him will declare themselves - just as they that are with Him will do also. But by their fruits ye shall know them. For, with what measure ye mete it shall be measured to thee again; or with what measure they have meted, with that alone can and will they measure to thee again.
10. His promises are sure in man's experience. He gave, "I have overcome the world - "Greater things ye shall do, or may do, in my name; for I go to the Father and will ever make intercession for thee, that ye may know indeed the glory of being at peace one with another, add in accord - or aware of thy peace with thy Maker."
11. Then, never let thy heart be troubled, nor afraid. For as ye walk the closer with and in His precepts, ye may know the truth - that which may indeed set thee free.
12. Let that purpose then be in thee, that hope, that desire, which prompted Him to offer Himself as the ransom for all men - who had fallen far short of the glory - as may be manifested through the individual life and association of a soul; that we, as individuals, might indeed know the truth, and that spirit which sets all men free.
13. Walk ye, then, in the light of His countenance, of His counsel, which to all men is so inclusive - "Ye shall love the Lord thy God with all thy mind, thy heart, thy purpose, and thy neighbor as thyself."
14. As ye apply this, as ye practice it in thy daily life and in thy dealings with others, it may bring into thy consciousness the awareness of His indwelling spirit in thee, which has conquered and does conquer all things.
15. So live, then, in that awareness, that ye put away those things which might so easily beset; running the race that is set before thee day by day unto the glory of the Father in Him, and unto the honor of thine own self.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) I would like to have some light, if possible, on the meaning or interpretation of the symbolic sequences experienced in my ether visions of some years past. (A) These are symbolical of thy hopes, of thy purposes. The usage to which these are put depends upon the source, or to Whom and to What ye accredit them. If they are used to

selfish interests, they may come to naught. If they are used in that which will be redounding to the glory of the Creative Force, and to the honor of self, they may be a means of unfolding the opportunities before thee in a materially helpful experience one to another.
18. (Q) Please give me any suggestions desirable, from the cosmic point of view, concerning a method or procedure for improving my reception and response to spiritual concepts. (A) Studying to show thyself approved unto God, ye will not be mocked; rightly dividing and divining the words of truth; keeping self unspotted from the world. Let thy prayer be, consistently and often: "God, use me in a service to others." Let that be meaningful in thy experience, and not that some other influence guide thee, save that which is of His making, from day to day.
19. (Q) Do I have the capacity for developing clairvoyance; if so, through what suggested method? (A) By the closing of self to the physical consciousness, and letting the universal consciousness flow through thy mind, thy body, thy soul; surrounding self with the awareness of His abiding presence with thee, ever.
20. (Q) Have I discovered a method that truly solves the complex matter of color harmony, and how can I advance the cause of greater harmony in this realm? (A) Color is vibration, like overtones in music. These ye have applied, occasionally. Then use them in attuning thy body-consciousness to those vibrations about thee, which may - in some instances - take on color also. Use not for self alone, but using - do not abuse.
21. (Q) Should I drop this effort while the present opposition continues to prevent its full development? (A) Better keep on listening, but within - rather than giving the full expression of same; until there is the awareness as to the better means and manners of using same daily as a constructive experience at this time.
22. (Q) Please advise me as to how to discover the true story of Sacajawea and her people, and how to present it to establish her fine contribution to the world's knowledge. (A) We do not have Sacajawea.
23. (Q) Is there any advice to me regarding the next steps in discovering the method and meaning of photographic experiments now being conducted? (A) These we need to carry on. Some, of course, are sufficient in their abilities for raising the vibrations of their own body as to become a luminous experience to certain individuals. But keep these and ponder them. If these are helpful experiences for others as well as for self, they

bespeak of good. For, as ye do it unto the least of thy brethren ye do unto thy Maker.
