Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes. We have the body, [968].
2. As we find, the conditions are the effects or the results of disturbing conditions to the equilibrium of the body; to that which makes for the better coordination between the sympathetic or vegetative nerve forces and the cerebrospinal system.
3. Hence we have those periods when there are the reactions in the MENTAL influences over the body, as well as the pathological or physical conditions.
4. Then, we have a psychopathic or psychological condition, as well as the physical reactions, to be dealt with.
5. These, as we find, will require the consistent and persistent applications of those things as to make for the consideration of each physical condition as well as the coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems; from the ducts and glands of the system to those nerves to make for the equilibrium or balance, as well as those coordinations in the cerebrospinal system.
6. As we find, these are the existent disturbing forces:
7. In the BLOOD SUPPLY there is a lack of the proper amount of the harmones to make for the perfect coordination through the lyden and pineal gland. The adrenals become affected, as well as the lymphatics, especially about the lacteal ducts where tissue has become involved in such a manner as to produce a lack of the proper blood balance, as indicated, for the effective activity through the glands in the system.
8. Hence we have an anemia, an unbalanced activity in the locomotions; the mental equilibriums INCOORDINATING with the locomotions.
9. These, then, as we find, would be the ministrations in the present:
10. It is WELL to keep the balance, or keep the body in the open.
11. But we would begin immediately with the Wet Cell Battery Appliance that carries with same the Gold into the system.

The applications we would make once each day for not more than twenty to twenty-five minutes. The small copper plate would be attached first, at the 3rd and 4th dorsal center - or at the secondary cardiac plexus area. The larger nickel plate would be attached last (this would be the connection passing through the Gold solution, you see; in the proportion of one minim Chloride of Gold to one ounce of distilled water, and we would use about six ounces in the solution; this being the nickel plate, nickel pole and anode), to the area over the portion of the umbilicii plexus to the right - and over the lacteal duct, or a portion of the gall duct and lacteal duct area.
12. The plates should be kept very CLEAN and very close in their connections when the applications are made to the body.
13. AFTER such an application, give a thorough rubdown or massage from the central portion of the body towards the lower extremities, then from the base of the brain to the central portion in a CIRCULAR motion, either side of the spine. After each treatment massage the whole of the cerebrospinal system, out to the extremities - both on the arms and to the lower limbs; following the nerve ends from the brachial area and from the lower lumbar plexus and along the sciatic nerves under the limbs to the very toe tips, you see, with an oil rub prepared in this manner:
14. To 4 ounces of Olive Oil as the carrier, add - in the order named: Compound Tincture of Benzoin.........1 ounce, Oil of Wintergreen.................1/2 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood..................1/2 ounce, Oil of Pine Needles.................20 minims, Oil of Sassafras...................1/4 ounce.
15. These will separate when standing. But shake well together before each application, pouring just sufficient in an open container that will be absorbed by the body in the massaging.
16. In the diet, keep to those things that have been indicated that are of the BODY-BUILIDNG.
17. Keep up these for thirty days; making the application of the Wet Appliance anodes as indicated, massaging with the rub as indicated.
18. Then, at the end of the thirty days, we would give further instructions.
19. Ready for questions.
20. We are through with this reading.

Copy to Father " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] to The Reilly Service with specifications for the type appliance suggested. The body-building foods, "that have been indicated" may refer to the diet he is following already, or to the list of foods that have been given through the readings as being the best body and blood builders. We would appreciate your letting us know what his diet consists of. The ingredients for the massage may be bought separately and then combined in the order named. I would suggest that you get a good Osteopath, preferably one in Detroit who knows the [619]'s and is familiar with our work, to outline - to the one who is to give the oil rub - just how it should be done, according to the directions and places indicated in the reading. The "lyden gland" [Leydigian?] is, apparently, unknown to physicians; or, at least, it has not been NAMED except through the readings. We have had a description of it given, and where located. If everything is not clear, let us know. Advise when the treatments have been followed almost thirty days, so that we may make an appointment for a Check Reading on time. GD.)
