1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [974].
2. Now, as we find, conditions are rather those tendencies that produce at times disturbing factors. And unless there are some measures taken for a correction, these must gradually undermine the better physical functioning and cause more and more distress.
3. However, if these are taken in time, as we find, there may be changes brought that may give a more near normal functioning and thus produce a better physical functioning throughout the system.
4. These, as we find, are of rather a specific nature; though the effects or the reactions indicated in the disturbing factors are rather subtle, or change in their reaction owing to the strength and vitality which has existed; making for combative conditions in the body. But the circulatory force or system is that which is being the greater disturbed, through the activity of conditions that exist in portions of the body.
5. Hence the metabolism of the system, the heart's activity, a very poor capillary circulation, with those conditions resultant from same in the effect upon organisms, are the conditions that disturb.
6. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [974] we are speaking of:
7. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY there is shown rather a very normal, at times DEEP circulation; yet the superficial circulation is hindered in the activity. Hence we have a reduction in the red blood cells in the body, or a deficiency in numbers. While coagulation through the activity of the white blood forces is very good at times, at others there are those irritations that make for a quick pulsation; yet a slowing of the circulatory forces in the extremities, with the attending accentuation of their being
974-1 Page 2
in distress or at dis-ease. And with the activity of the heart, or shortness of breath by fast activity, there is caused an increase in the pulmonary's activity.
8. These also make for a lack of proper activity in the hepatic circulation, yet the hepatic circulation is a portion of or a cause of the disorders.
9. In the NERVOUS FORCES of the body we find that the reactions are such that the body at periods has to FORCE itself, through its determination, to disregard or to meet or overcome those conditions when dizziness appears, or the inactivity of the liver or the spleen.
10. The liver and spleen becoming affected, there is produced a feeling as if the body externally and the body internally were separating, or a tingling sensation in various portions of the body; as trembly. This is a reaction of the nerve forces of the body, owing to disturbed conditions that have been indicated and will be seen in the coordinating of the cerebrospinal nerve force with the vegetative or sympathetic nervous system.
11. Hence there are specific centers from which such radial activities are expressed through disturbances in the body. These in a specific manner we find in the lumbar area, or at the 4th lumbar; where there is a heaviness to the lower portion of the limbs and to the lower potion of the torso, that makes for a distress at times or a heavy achiness, which is the reflex activity of the disturbance in the nervous system as combined with the deeper conditions that involve the activities of the hepatic circulation - or that between the liver and the kidneys, and between the activity of the assimilated forces that disturb the circulation and the internal or superficial circulation that makes for this tendency of the lack of the red blood cells, or the using up of the red blood cells producing insufficiently of those activities in the system for the production of these in equal numbers.
12. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, we find:
13. A portion of the condition is the nervous force or reflex through same to the organs of the sensory system. While these are very good in their responses in most periods, at times the drumming or the buzzing is indicated in the ear or the auditory forces; and those conditions in the soft tissue of the face are but a reflex condition from the circulatory forces being disturbed.
14. In throat, bronchi, lungs and larynx; organically these are very good, yet they suffer at times through the lack of the proper balance, or metabolism being disturbed makes for a fullness.
974-1 Page 3
15. Heart's activity so far as the organ itself is concerned is very good; though the sympathetic conditions to the organs through the nerve forces and the lack of the proper balance in the system cause a fullness there.
16. Digestive area also is rather sympathetically disturbed; while the seat or the basis of the trouble lies with the lacteal duct, the GALL duct, the caecum and ileum plexus. These are the areas where the basis of the disturbance arises. Hence the gall duct or gall bladder does NOT function normally, and makes for a drying at times through the alimentary canal, through the use or the attempt of the system to create a balance through a forced circulation; withdrawing the circulation from the extremities, as it were, leaving them at times to suffer from the lack of proper eliminations through the regular or equalized circulation.
17. While the lacteal ducts and the gall ducts are dormant in periods, these we find do not show inflammation. It is true that a plethora exists, or a fullness, or an engorging in the area at times; but this has not reached the proportions where inflammation has set up. And if the proper precautions are taken in the present, as indicated, these conditions may be eliminated and the body be brought nearer to the normal forces.
18. In the liver, the spleen, the pancreas; these we find become a portion of the disturbing forces, or in their activity; not being supplied with those influences or forces that make for the proper flow of the circulatory forces, especially in the lymph circulation or the white blood circulation. This makes for a drawing upon the deeper or the red blood supply in the body. It having become torpid, those activities through the colon, through portions of the intestinal tract or the jejunum, extending into the caecum and through the ileum [ilium] activities, or those below the kidneys and the activities of the bladder, become disturbed - and a heaviness occurs.
19. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions in the present, we find that there should be a specific activity for the GLANDS of the body, as to produce the enlivening of the activity of these, that would produce the activity in this relation of the secretions through ALL of the system. This would be in the main helpful. Yet to produce a balancing of same there will be required the addition of other applications also, as well as that to produce an equalization in the centers along the cerebrospinal system as they are distributed to the organs of the body.
20. Hence, we would give an outline to be followed in this
974-1 Page 4
manner:
21. First we would begin by taking small quantities of Atomidine (atomic iodine), which is in such form that it may be assimilated by the body. Take one minim in half a glass of water night and morning for periods of about five days; then have a rest period of leaving same off for an equal period; then repeat same. Continue in this manner consistently until there have been four or five rounds of taking same, with the rest periods between.
22. At the end of the second round of taking Atomidine, begin with osteopathic manipulations that would LOOSEN - as it were - those tautnesses that exist in the lumbar area, specifically; coordinating same with the solar plexus center, through the brachial and the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus in the cervical area.
23. In such treatments stimulate the flow to DRAINAGES in the whole system, so that there is a stimulation to the superficial circulation, or the FLOW of the blood supply to all portions of the body.
24. These should be done osteopathically. Take the treatments about twice a week for the first three weeks.
25. About three of such treatments during the period should be for making SPECIFIC corrections, but GRADUALLY done, in the LUMBAR and in the solar plexus area - or at the 9th and 10th dorsal.
26. When the osteopathic treatments are begun, we would also begin to use the vibrations from the Radio-Active Appliance, attached to the opposite extremities of the body, which will equalize the circulation and produce a better equilibrium, working with all of those conditions that may be applied through the osteopathic corrections and through the properties for the glands.
27. This would be taken each day for at least one hour, preferably in the evening before retiring or in the afternoon when resting.
28. While this would only be begun when the osteopathic treatments are begun, we would continue same after the adjustments of the spine have been made; that is, we would continue to use the Radio-Active Appliance for about two or three months.
29. Doing these, keeping the diet nearer in an alkalin state, we find that we will bring for this body, [974], near to normal conditions.
30. In the matter of diet, let this be rather as an outline:
31. Let one meal each day, whether noon or evening (whichever is preferable to the body), consist ONLY of RAW fresh vegetables. These may be combined in a salad, or
974-1 Page 5
there may be just one or two vegetables used.
32. At the other meals, do not take red meats; no fried foods of any kind. Not too great a quantity of starches, but a little of fats may be taken - but with fats be sure that the sweets are taken at those periods also; or sweets such as honey, not sweets made with corn starch or cane sugars should be used.
33. Ready for questions.
34. (Q) Do you mean that when fats are taken the sweets should be taken also? (A) Sweets such as honey, if or when fats are taken. The fats should be from fowl; not from swine nor kine. Keep those things as indicated for the correction of the tendencies that exist; for these taken in time may be eliminated. Take ALL of the things suggested; do not take just part or leave off altogether. For these are all indicated as one treatment, each application to work with the others, to depend upon the others being used also. Keep the MIND and the attitude in a CONSTRUCTIVE manner; that is, that as the corrections ARE made the mind and the body will be used as a HELPFUL influence for others.
