Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
2. While conditions have improved in many respects, we find there are still those disturbances as to the proper distribution of those assimilated forces; as to cause anxieties to the body, discomforts at times after meals, unpleasantness at times in the attempts to gain the normal rest.
3. As we find, then, if there would be a general osteopathic treatment once a week for six to eight weeks, we would find the greater portion of these discomforts and disturbances would disappear. And with the other disturbances in the general forces of the body kept in accord with those suggestions that have been given, in keeping the general eliminations and the general activities, we would make for the better conditions.
4. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) Should Atomidine be taken? (A) This should only be taken occasionally, but when taken take it for two to three days each day - and then leave off for a week or ten days. Only take small quantities. Two minims each day for two to three days. Then leave off for a week to two weeks. Then take again.
But take the manipulations each week for four to six weeks, see?
What is needed most, as we have indicated, is to make for the coordination through the GENERAL treatments for the body. We find there are the tendencies, from this incoordination, for the gland forces of the body to produce at times a concentration as it were; or acute conditions arising in this or that portion of the system. Thus the disturbances are produced that become as pressures upon the nerve system, either from the general eliminations or from specific disturbances in the functioning of the kidneys or

the liver, or even the very heart's activity itself. For this, of course, while it is an organ, functions through the very activity of the GLANDS that purify the blood supply through the system itself. For the heart rarely has ORGANIC disturbances, but functional disturbances of other portions of the system PRODUCE a disturbance there.
6. (Q) Should the same diet as formerly outlined be adhered to? (A) In the greater manner.
7. (Q) What causes the terrible taste in my mouth, and what may prevent it? (A) The abilities for the proper assimilations to be distributed properly through the system will prevent it. It is from the emptying, as it were, of the stomach itself as food is beginning its digestion. It is from this same cause that the foul breath arises at times, from the fermen- tations without those activities of the glands - in the stomach, in the liver, in the upper intestinal system - to carry off the foods.
Hence the general manipulations would be to set up the drainages for especially the ELIMINATING through the alimentary canal.
8. (Q) Any further advice? (A) These things we would do, and - as we find - will not only rid the system of much of the disturbance but continue to make for general improvements.
9. We are through with this reading.
