1. EC: Yes, we have the entity and those records of same, now known as or called [984].
2. In entering the present experience, there are many of those indications that are accredited here and there as to their influence in the experiences of individuals. Not only does the entity here have influences from the astrological sojourns and the earth environment, but in same and in the activities of same we see there are numerological influences; numbers - nine, and those that are the divisions of same, as in three, six, nine, these are the numbers that may be termed the lucky numbers for the entity. And the choice of any influence that pertains to dates, as in three, six, nine, nineteen, twenty-nine, twenty-seven and the like, would make for the periods or expressions that would become to the entity as an influence for the EASIER way, or the lucky way. While it is never advisable that individuals speculate, these would be to the entity those numbers that would be of the nature that would bring an influence of gain.
3. We find the astrological aspects somewhat at variance to what has been the entity's experience in the earth. And little credence by the entity is given to those things that may not be seen or heard or felt. Hence in the experience of THIS entity we find the environments are made rather, it may be termed, from the sojourns in the earth; that come in their relationships through the emotions, or through those things that are termed the sensory forces, or the SENSING of conditions in this or that.
4. For unless the entity in itself can and does feel that there is the urge from within to do this or that, by the promptings of reason or by the promptings of some motivative force that makes for an application in these directions,
984-1 Page 2
little may be accomplished.
5. The individual more often than most individuals may not be driven to do this or that in its activities, whether relating to the moral activity or those things delving into the spiritual activity, or pertaining to its relationships with individuals.
6. Hence in the choice of its companions, of its associates, there must be an inner urge and not from that oft seen by others unless they study the entity from that angle.
7. As to the astrological sojourns, then, we find little influence other than that innate - but will become more manifested in the experience of the entity after it has passed its nineteenth year. These sojourns will then have a greater influence in the experience of the entity as related to the present sojourn in material conditions.
8. Hence the greater experiences, and those that make for the more of the personalities manifested in the activities, arise from the earthly sojourns.
9. But the influences of Jupiter combined WITH Venus, coming at those seasons when - as ordinarily seen - there is a conjunction of these two great influences, we find that in this particular experience these are rather in a benevolent or complementary relation one to another. Hence we will find the entity may become what would be commonly termed a great lover, a great actor, or a great DEMONSTRATOR of those influences dealing with the relationships with groups - and especially with those of the opposite sex.
10. As to the influences from appearances in the earth, or those that bear upon the material, the mental and the innate EXPERIENCES that may become a portion of the entity's OWN activity in the present sojourn, we find:
11. Before this the entity lived in the earth during those periods when there were the activities of the Norsemen who came to the lands now known as Greenland and the eastern coast of North America or New England.
12. The entity then was among the crew with one Leif Ericsson that made for an establishment of a settlement NOW near what is Providence, Rhode Island. [See Source File Key #984 for newspaper article "WHO REALLY DISCOVERED AMERICA?" re 984-1.]
13. In the name then Abe Olenscen, the entity was of a stature that made for an imposing influence upon the sailors, [10/12/65 GD's note: Today he is still an "imposing stature" of a man.], and the activities in the immediate vicinity of the settlements there. And in the return the entity acted as the steersman of the ship, or the navigator of same. Hence it rose to one of power through
984-1 Page 3
those activities that were established at that time.
14. Again and again did the entity, in its early portion of the sojourn, journey across what is now the North Atlantic; making settlements in Greenland, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. These were the portions of the land touched by the entity, and the hardy activity of the entity made for a development in the mental and material experiences; yea, with the latter portion of its sojourn in Vinland (as it was then called by those peoples with whom the entity was associated), there was a spiritual development also through the establishing of an association with those peoples in that particular portion of the land. Even when the settlement was abandoned, the entity remained there - with those associations; for these were among the first people in the northern land to journey to the new lands - in that particular period. [See Bro's rdg. 2157-1 on 3/27/40 indicating he was Eric.]
15. In the present from that experience there comes a conflicting influence. While there is innate the desire oft for the entity to become seaworthy, as it were, or to become a traveller of the sea, there are those innate experiences that hold the entity innately and manifestedly to the things that may be said to be MORE of the land than of the sea. Hence we have conflicting urges that arise from that sojourn.
16. But, as we find, if there are the activities or the trainings of the entity into those things dealing with water COMMUNICATIONS through or over or upon the sea, these will make for rather the greater development - from the experiences had by the entity.
17. And as there will be through the astrological experiences of the entity in the earlier or formative years of manhood the influences pertaining to great numbers of peoples, and such communications would have to deal with people, these would become the activities in which the entity would find the self - in the material manners gaining the greater satisfaction. That is, through those things dealing with radio and the communications, or such natures. These would become the activities in which the entity may excel, as we find, under influences dealing with the same character of activity under the environs of the experience at those periods.
18. Before that we find the entity was in the Roman land, during those periods when there were the turmoils with the peoples that made for those activities when there were the joinings of other lands with the Roman influence.
19. The entity was not exactly a soldier, but rather one who
984-1 Page 4
made the reports of the activities of the soldiery, of the leaders in the varied lands. As when there were the establishings of the relationships between the Roman land and the Palestine land, the entity was the messenger that made reports upon the activities of those that were put in authority in the various portions of the land.
20. In the same manner the entity made the reports upon the activities of those in authority under authority in the isles and in the northern coasts of Africa.
21. Hence the entity's urge in the present to become a traveller, or to become one who may join with expeditions into this or that activity, is innate. Yet there is the fear of separations in the present. Later this will become more and more of an urge in the experience of the entity.
22. During that experience, in the name Polyneus, the entity made friends and foes. For those that were not in accord with the directing forces were fearful of the reports the entity would make to those in authority; while those second in command, or those oft to whom the entity reported, were fearful of the entity's showing partiality in varied individuals' activity.
23. Hence the entity's experience was not one that would be called altogether satisfactory to some; yet as the entity had then ideals and was true to the influences under which the entity acted, it has made for ORDER in the entity's activity. It has made for that which if developed more and more in the present may become oft as the saving grace to the entity's activities in some directions.
24. These influences in the present will make for abilities for the entity in those activities where peoples of various groups, of various natures, of various tenets, of various temperaments, of various religions, of various political influences, are reached. So the entity may become, as it were, through its own activities, as a peacemaker often in the affairs of individuals; as the entity has in the present even in the formative years oft acted, does act, in the capacity of the peacemaker among its associates; keeping this and that, as it were, in order with the commands or the mandates of those to whom the entity holds the greater allegiance, or with those in authority in the home may the same be experienced.
25. For oft is the entity in its associations given charge concerning the activities of those with whom the entity may be associated.
26. These natural inclinations that are experienced by the entity, as may be seen by those with whom the entity associates, arise from that sojourn.
984-1 Page 5
27. The entity gained through the greater portion of that period. Hence it becomes a real influence in the present activity.
28. Before that we find the entity was in that land now known as the Arabian or Persian, during those periods when there were the buildings of the city in the hills and the plains; when many of those from the Grecian land were coming, not only for aid and succor but when there were those activities among the peoples that would exploit rather the activities that had been begun there.
29. Then the entity came with those from the Grecian land into the hills and the plains; but with those activities there came fears through the epidemics that arose during a portion of that campaign, as would be called in the present.
30. As the entity came directly under the influences of those in authority in that experience, or in that city or land, the entity then came to know more of the manners, the ways, the means in which the ministry had been of those helps that had come to many.
31. Hence the SPIRITUAL portion of the entity's development arose from that experience there, which was approached rather - as has been indicated, ever - through that which the entity PHYSICALLY experienced; that which he might see, that which he might feel within himself.
32. Then in the name Xentel, the entity lost and gained. It gained the greater portion during those periods when the entity joined with those in the city to make for the helpfulness in the material ways and manners; the bringing of health to others, the bringing of comfort to those that were neglected and to those that had fallen in diverse ways and manners, through oppressions in those experiences.
33. Hence those things pertaining to messengers, communications, activities in which the greater number of people may be aided by the findings of a few, or those things pertaining to helpfulness in the spiritual manners, arise from the experiences of the entity in that sojourn.
34. Before then we find the entity was in that now known as the Egyptian land, among those peoples that journeyed to Egypt from that known as the Atlantean land.
35. The entity then was the first of the Atlantean peoples born in the Egyptian land; or the mother of the entity then was heavy with child when the entity entered into the land now known as Egypt.
36. And in the early portion of the experience there, all in the land looked to the entity as being out of the ordinary - because of the manners in which those cares were shown. And the entity was what TODAY would be termed a prodigy, in that
984-1 Page 6
experience.
37. Then in the name Atlanteus (?), the entity rose to power. Though through the activities that arose with the rebellions there came many of the impoverishments to the entity in its abilities, with the reestablishing of the Priest's activities, with the beginnings of the correlatings of the various activities in the establishings of schools, hospitals, the buildings that came about from the correlating of the various truths, the entity again was among those oft looked to for material counsel.
38. The entity became then the overseer or supervisor of many of the buildings that were set up during the experience; as the Atlanteans had been among those who made themselves temples and homes of stone and wood, and dealt with such activities. Hence the entity was in that position, from that expected and also the developments materially, to aid the more in counseling with those who carved precious stones, those who set about work with the semi-precious and the regular building stones; and in those things pertaining to the manners of equipping same for the activities that befitted the varied families for which these were used, whether as individuals, as families, or as groups, or as those that aided for the help of many peoples.
39. Hence the abilities arise in the entity at present for the aiding many.
40. As to the abilities in the present from those sojourns, and that to which the entity may attain:
41. We find, as indicated from the last sojourn, when there has been the material preparation, those things pertaining to the communications, dealing with activities between groups, nations, individuals and the like, will be those fields in which the entity may excel the most.
42. But keep those warnings respecting entanglements that may arise in the experience of the entity in those years between nineteen and twenty-seven; and make those preparations that may aid self in the activity that will keep the mental, the material, the SPIRITUAL more and more in accord.
43. Study first to show thyself approved unto THY Creator. Know that thy relationships with thy fellow man BESPEAK that thou would have thy Maker deal to thee. Let thy light so shine that others may take hope often. Thou art naturally, as indicated, a leader, a director of others. KNOW what thou believest, and why - as it is a portion of thine whole inner self. MAKE the application in self. Ask no one to do that ye would NOT do yourself. This will save many a heartache, many a fear.

44. Ready for questions.
45. (Q) Considering that just given as to his abilities, what specific line in communications should he take up? (A) Radio is the better, or kindred subjects.
46. (Q) What training should he have for the better development of this life? (A) As indicated, the spiritual and mental training in purposefulness of the entity's activities. And in the MATERIAL directions in those lines indicated.
47. (Q) What course should he study at school this year? (A) Take those subjects that will lead more and more into the fields in which the indications would be for the entity's general activity. Mathematics, that is a stumbling. Physics, that is to begin. And English and languages.
48. (Q) Should he join the U.S. Navy? (A) This is an urge within self. The better preparations, as we find, would be in those things dealing with such communications; that it may be a portion of but not the Navy as the Navy.
49. (Q) What method of training should be used to bring out the better qualities of this entity at this time? (A) Example and precept; and these ONE!
50. (Q) For what purpose did the entity come to this plane at this time, and why in this particular family? (A) That the relationship has been such, with the family associations - or those that are responsible for the entering of the entity into the earth plane, that they may make for the abilities to ENABLE the entity to find self the better. The entity may be an aid to them, as they may be an aid to the entity; a complement one to another. At this time the entering was for the purpose of giving that which the entity has that many need; the opportunity for self-expression, the opportunity to lend aid to others is before the entity.
51. (Q) Under what circumstances and in what incarnations did he contact his father, [462]? (A) The more often the associations were in the one previous to the present; again there were those activities together in the Egyptian land.
52. (Q) Please give his seal and the colors in same. (A) It would be rather many rings, or the seven rings that would shade one into another - as the varied shades in the prism itself. As a shield this would appear, and the lettering would be, "The Shield of Truth."
984-1 Page 8
53. (Q) To what colors does he vibrate, and to what musical notes? (A) It has just been given as to what colors. ALL become a portion of the entity; as does the SOUND of the gong as goes with same strike something innate within the entity, and he will listen to this when the high, the low, or the rhythmic music does not awaken anything. Let the light of that as given aid thee in thine undertakings. Never have those activities that are not able to be met in thine own self. For each soul must meet that it has done; in whom and how it is met makes for the advancement or retardment. Remember He has shown and given the way. Thou canst carry orders, as thou hast. As thou hast been true to thy country, to thy leader, be true to Him who is indeed thy REAL guide, thy real leader.
