Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [984].
2. Now, as we find, in many respects conditions are very well; but there are those tendencies and inclinations, the correction of which in the present would not only relieve some of the inclinations for the tiredness, the heaviness and headaches, the disturbances in the extremities of the body at times, but would prevent a great many more subtle conditions from developing as related to the purifying of same.
3. These then are the conditions as we find them with this body, [984].
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find there is a heaviness and a lack of the activities through the circulation in the liver, as well as in the lungs, for the better or the more perfect purification of same.
5. Hence these conditions produce not only the tendency for acidity in the activity of the circulation through the system but leave in the lungs, in the liver, an activity that unless corrections in same are made may bring about greater distresses for the body through the activity of same in the system.
6. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, as we find these disturbances in the circulation, and the quite variation as we would find in not only the quickening of the pulse under various strains but the very blood pressure's effect itself upon the nervous system to centers as indicated in extremities from the lower lumbar activity, as well as those from the secondary plexus to the head, the eyes and the ears, the taste, all of these disturbances are reflected in the nervous system.
7. For all of these appear rather as the effect of a cold but are the activities of the circulation as related to the purification of same, and the pressures upon the nervous system make for these reactions in the system as well as for the lower locomotories.
984-2 Page 2
8. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces are very good.
9. The organs of the sensory system leave impulses from the activity of those pressures indicated between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic nerve system, especially in the lower part of the cervical area and the upper portion of the lumbar and dorsal area.
10. In the activity of these upon the lungs, we find that inclination for this heaviness to produce a feeling as of a fullness especially across the lower part of the left lung at times; at others the upper portion of the right lung.
11. These are the activity of the slowing of the blood supply owing to the very plasm that is indicated that produces the disturbance from the lack of purification from the oxidization, and the activity of same in the liver itself.
12. In the digestive system, here we find there are disturbances - at times we find a lack of food would produce disturbed balance as well as excesses, and these are sympathetic conditions rather than any disturbance through the activity of the gastric flow in the body itself; though this to be sure is hindered by the circulatory forces and their pressure upon the nervous forces themselves.
13. The liver, the kidneys, the activity of the pancreas and spleen as with same: As we have indicated, owing to the conditions that have existed there, we find we have an inactivity of the proper nature to purify the blood supply. Hence we find at times those inclinations of a fullness and an activity that produces an effect of the lack of the proper flow of the secretions from the gall duct as well as from those activities upon the system through the eliminations as caused in the activity between the upper and lower hepatic circulation, or the liver and kidneys.
14. THEN, AS WE FIND, IN MEETING THE NEEDS OF THE CONDITIONS: These, as we find, would be gained by these added to the system to produce their varied effect, and their activity with the body in producing and bringing a normal reaction through the bodily forces themselves.
15. First we would begin with very small doses of Fowler's Solution of Arsenic, taken in this way and manner: Of morning before any meal is taken, take one minim in half a glass of water. The next morning take one minim in half a glass of water. The next morning take one minim. For three mornings in succession, you see, take the one minim. Then rest one day from taking same. Then the next day take two minims, and this for three mornings. Then skip two mornings. Then take three minims for three mornings. Leave
984-2 Page 3
off entirely for a week.
16. Then, after the week of leaving off the Arsenic, begin with taking Atomidine; one minim in half a glass of water before the morning meal - the next day two minims, and this continually increased until five minims would be taken. Leave this off then for a week.
17. And during that week we would have a thorough massage as would be given in a Swedish Massage, or Turkish Bath Massage, so that the activities of the properties as taken and their effect upon the system may be stimulated to activity throughout the system.
18. Then all of these would be left off for at least three weeks.
19. Then begin again with the Arsenic in the same manner as indicated; then the Atomidine, then again the Massage with the sweat and rubs.
20. During the whole period the diet would be kept much in this way and manner; not that only these foods are to be taken, of course, but these as an outline:
21. Mornings - citrus fruit juices or any of fruits stewed or the cereals, but not the fruit juices and the cereals the same meal. Whole wheat bread or toast. A little bacon if desired, or the like.
22. Noons - or one meal each day may include not these alone (unless there is sufficient to satisfy the appetite, but in one meal each day include) - fresh RAW vegetables.
23. Evenings - the leafy vegetables when possible; cabbage or beans or spinach or turnip greens or any of the leafy vegetables that may be taken. Eat preferably lamb, fish or fowl; these are preferable to other characters of meats.
24. Then, as we find, taking the whole of these for two or three series, there should be brought about such a change that there will be normalcy for this body in its activities.
25. Ready for questions.
26. (Q) Do we understand that just one Turkish Bath and Massage would be given between each period? (A) One Turkish Bath between each one; and rest three weeks between the periods that the whole of the activities are taken. These are the effects of these properties upon the system: The solution of Arsenic in the manner indicated acts upon not only the whole of the respiratory system but the liver AND the kidneys as combined with the gastric flow from the gall duct, the pancreas and the spleen, in their activity to assimilation and digestion. Then these purified, as it were, by the system's resistance
984-2 Page 4
created in the bloodstream, the addition of the Atomidine or iodine in atomic form is to purify the glandular system so that not only the thyroids but the glands through the respiratory system, the glands through the stomach, through the appendicial area, and the activities to the kidneys, will tend to be cleansed. While the activity of the massage and the sweat between tends to make for the whole of the perspiratory system reacting from the forces or activities of same upon the superficial circulation. Then, of course, the diet would keep the near balance in the system itself.
27. (Q) What causes piles and what will relieve same? (A) To relieve those stresses upon the whole of the system in the manner as indicated will relieve those tendencies for the activities through the lower portion of the body; that is, through the alimentary canal, to become relaxed and the folds become normal. The local applications from the properties in Tim would relieve the immediate disturbances, but constitutional conditions are to be carried on if we would relieve the conditions entirely.
28. (Q) When necessary what is best laxative to take? (A) Any of a vegetable nature rather than minerals.
29. (Q) How much rest does the body need out of twenty-four hours? (A) That depends upon the activities of the body. Physical activities, at least eight hours; mental activities, six to seven hours.
30. (Q) What causes the breaking out of pimples on the face? What outside application will help? (A) Those as indicated for the purifying of the bloodstream. Local applications are rather hindrances than helpful things; though, of course, any astringent that will carry in same Balsam of Tolu would be relieving to the burning sensation.
31. (Q) What makes my face and especially my nose so sensitive to sun and wind? What will help? (A) The activities upon the circulation, as has been indicated. Relieving the conditions, purifying the bloodstream, making for those activities in the organs as to carry on nominally, we will see all the change in the world in these conditions.
32. (Q) Is the eyesight and hearing normal? (A) It will be improved by the application of those things indicated, owing to the effect these have had upon the sensory forces and their activity upon the system.

33. (Q) How may I gain weight in proportion to my height? (A) Do those things as we have given. [9/29/64 Mother says he gained weight alright; is now too heavy and has to watch his diet.]
34. (Q) What particular physical exercise may I take that will help me? Are Atlas exercises good? (A) This depends upon the physical activities of the body during its working or laboring hours. The Atlas exercises are excellent, provided there is not too much of the head and neck exercise. Those that are bending and stooping for the body are the better.
35. (Q) Is my present work unhealthy for the body? (A) Not if the purifications are carried on.
36. (Q) What does the body eat too much of, sugar or starches? (A) Too much of the starches.
37. (Q) What minerals are lacking in the body? (A) It is not so much minerals as it is the condition produced by an environment and by a surrounding where the activities of the organs have been disturbed. Mineral salts - more of those whose active principles are of the potassiums, as indicated by that necessary for the correction in the conditions here as indicated.
38. (Q) [Questions 38 and 39 submitted by mother, Mrs. [404].] Will you please give a recipe for a perfect loaf of whole wheat bread made with the flour ground by local farmers, some of which I hold in my hand. Is this flour better than the commercial kind? (A) This, as we find, is better combined somewhat with the white flour. The proportions would be three-fourths of the whole wheat to one-fourth of the white; and the shortening or the activities of the seasoning to suit the taste.
39. (Q) Any spiritual advice for the body at this time? (A) Keep constructive forces; that is, ever in its activity physically, mentally, purposeful in its relationships to others as well as to self. Know that so long as constructive forces are those that are building or creative in its activity, these build for that which is physical, mental and spiritual success.
