1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [987], present in this room.
2. Now, in the physical forces of the body, we find there are rather those conditions of which the body should take warning in the present. While these make for definite disturbances, they arise from rather subtle conditions that may be in the present corrected; and relieve not only those disorders that arise in the present but prevent a great deal of disturbance later on.
3. These have to do with the hindrances in the glands that make for the balancing between the constructive or the coordinating forces in the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal nervous systems. For the lack of the proper amount of balance makes for the distresses that occur with the functioning of organs, that add to the production of those elements or influences necessary for this balance.
4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body in the present:
5. In the BLOOD SUPPLY we find the indications of a disturbance in the assimilations, that make for a disorder through the areas of the lacteal ducts, as they coordinate with the secretions from the adrenals that form an activity with the supply of the blood force through the lymph or the white blood circulation. This makes for a differentiation in the pressure in the blood supply. Hence we may find by the taking of the pressure that this will alter from one time to another; not a great deal, but sufficient to indicate a source of a disturbance; making for more disturbance in the katabolism than the metabolism, though this is indicated at times also.
6. As indicated, in the NERVOUS FORCES of the body there are those disorders and indications of disturbances between the vegetative or sympathetic nerve force AND the cerebrospinal
987-1 Page 2
system. This, as we find, is indicated in the ganglia in the 3rd and 4th lumbar plexus. Hence that heavy tiredness that occurs across the hips, that makes for a bearing down feeling through the abdomen. At other times from the source or the rising of the source of same we find through the right portion, or through the lacteal ducts and the adjustment to those activities of the liver and pancreas, an activity that prevents a sole coordination between the upper and lower hepatic circulation; producing a sympathetic effect through the activities of the organs of the pelvis. This is indicated through the pressure created in the area from the right side, across to the left side; and just above the left hip bone or in the area of the ovary there is the indication of a pressure. This, from the form of the lesion indicated in the 3rd and 4th lumbar, is a source of or contributory cause to the conditions.
7. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, we find:
8. Through those activities of the disturbance between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal forces, we have a reaction in the sensory forces; so that at times, not always, there are those feelings in the ear, the eye, the throat, as of a tingling, or as an overactivity or a fullness; so that the sympathetic reactions to the sensory forces FILL, as it were, the lymph flow to the organs of the sensory system.
9. Unless corrections are made, this would be one portion of the system where naturally the disturbances would arise or increase. Also in the soft tissue of the face there comes at times that overflow from the sympathetic reaction through the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus area; finding activity through the vagus center, or that on the left portion above the heart area - just at the left collar bone area, a fullness or heaviness there occurs at times, AFTER there have been those reactions in the portions of the nervous force indicated.
10. Brain forces are positive, and there is a normal reaction for an ANALYTICAL turn of mind, as may be indicated by the general reactions to influences about the body.
11. The lungs and the heart's activity: In the respiratory system from the indications we find fullnesses that occur at times just between the lung lobes themselves, or above the pit of the stomach. This is a sympathetic and not an organic nor a specific condition. As in the heart's activity, the quick pulsation is a sympathetic reaction from the indications of the variation between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal coordinations.
12. In the digestive forces of the body, here we find sympathetic indigestion occurs; or at times those things
987-1 Page 3
that have agreed with the body suddenly seem to fill or to cause a fullness that produces disturbances. This is a reaction from the conditions that have been indicated in the lumbar area, that makes for reflex action to the upper hepatic circulation, causing an overflow or the lack of activity in the gall duct and pancreas area.
13. The pancreas disturbance that makes for the tendencies for the overflow through the bladder activities is a sympathetic condition, but unless the pressures are removed the overflow or overactivity as caused there may later bring disturbing forces to the body.
14. As to the activity of the liver, the kidneys, in their coordinations: We find, as indicated, there are disturbing conditions from the pressures. And in times back there has been a great deal more disturbance in the organs of the pelvis, that produced those periods of distresses through the activity of the organs in the ovaries, the Fallopian tubes, where there have been or are indications of congestion that makes for a pressure there. As we find, these conditions will respond to those applications that we will suggest for the correction of the conditions in the lumbar, and for the general building up of the system in a stimulation to cause the reactions through the assimilating forces to become near to normal.
15. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions in this body, [987] we are speaking of:
16. First, we would have those properties taken into the system that would be combined as we will give.
17. Then we would have those CORRECTIVE measures through the deeper manipulative forces osteopathically; also the low form of electrical vibrations as to stimulate the equalizing of the circulation through the body.
18. The compound would be prepared in this manner. To 2 ounces of Strained Honey add 2 ounces of DISTILLED Water. Let this come to a boil. Then, when this has cooled, add - in the order named: Essence or Fluid Extract of Wild Ginseng......1 dram, Essence of Indian Turnip....................1/2 dram, Tincture of Stillingia......................1/2 ounce, Essence of Wild Ginger......................1/4 ounce. Shake the solution well before the dose is taken, which would be 1/2 teaspoonful 3 times each day; before the meals.
19. After this solution has been taken for five to six days, then begin with the corrections osteopathically of those lesions in the lumbar area as indicated; coordinating, when
987-1 Page 4
the corrections are made, the 9th dorsal, the brachial center or the 3rd and 4th dorsal, and the whole of the cervical area, WITH the relations, so that drainages and the activities to make for stimulated circulation throughout the system are made WITH the corrections in the lumbar area.
20. In the beginning we would take three of such treatments each week; that is, the adjustments; for six to eight to twelve treatments. Then take them once a week for six to eight more treatments.
21. When the osteopathic manipulations are begun, begin also with the use of the Radio-Active Appliance, used each day, PREFERABLY just before the body rests of evening. This will quiet the nerve forces, equalizing the circulation, and bring for the body - with the other applications - the near normal conditions.
22. Be mindful of the diet, that those things taken are body and nerve building. Follow rather an alkalin-reacting rather than acid-producing diet. Have one meal each day, whether noon or evening does not matter, that would consist ONLY of raw fresh vegetables.
23. Do these, and we will find we will make a better physical body for the mental and spiritual reactions.
24. Let THIS be the attitude in correcting the physical forces: That the corrections are for a purposefulness, towards the usefulness of self's abilities for others.
25. Ready for questions.
26. (Q) Are my teeth alright? (A) Some local attention is needed. The natural tendency of a disturbance in the circulatory forces to the sensory organs, as indicated, is to make for a lack of the proper circulation through the gums and to the portions of the teeth themselves. If the solution known as Ipsab is used to massage the gums occasionally, it will make for a STRENGTHENING of the areas and a preserving of their usefulness. Once or twice a week this would be thoroughly massaged into the gums, and will make a great deal of change in the gums and the teeth. Do that.
27. (Q) The roots are alright? (A) The roots are alright. There's a little receding in some portions, but there is needed the local attention as indicated - and those stimulations. For, as we have indicated, the GENERAL treatments will materially aid in this direction also.
28. (Q) Have I a stomach condition that would give me a bad breath?
987-1 Page 5
(A) When there is regurgitation from the duodenum to the upper portion or through the stomach itself, we find that at times there is a tendency in this direction; as early mornings. But it will be removed entirely with the use of the compound indicated for the removal of toxic forces through the stomach and intestines (that is, the properties in the compound combined in the manner given).
29. (Q) There's no halitosis, then? (A) There is no halitosis. This condition which arises, as indicated, is from the regurgitation.
30. (Q) Any further advice for the body? (A) Do these things, and we will not only correct the disturbances but prevent disturbances later on.
31. (Q) Are my eyes alright? (A) As we have indicated, there are periods when these are disturbed; but ORGANICALLY - and from all the forces of indications here - these will be STRENGTHENED by the corrections as outlined. But nominally they are alright.
