Time of Reading 3:50 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes. We have the conditions with this body in the present, which are somewhat changed from that as we have had here before. While there is still great pain from pressures in the area in which the enlargements are indicated, this is not wholly from enlarging or growth - nor wholly from the pressures of the fecal forces; but it will be found that it is a combination of both.

2. While separations and retardments have in a manner been brought about, we find there will be required still those persistent activities in almost every day using the enemas to cleanse the system. Otherwise, with the strain that comes from the natural movement of the muscular forces through the upper and lower sphincter and through those portions of the system, there will be caused greater accumulations.

3. We would keep the suggestions for the vibrations through the low electrical forces as indicated (the Wet Cell Appliance); making the attachments in this manner: The smaller plate, copper, first attached, would be on the 4th lumbar. The larger plate, nickel, passing through the solution as indicated, and attached last, would NOW be placed over the penial bone.

4. We would use the manipulations, the sedatives, when necessary.

5. Also each day we would add the treatment of HEAT through the Elliot Machine; using the rectal tube, that this may allay the swelling. And, as we find, with its use for a period of forty to sixty minutes a day, gradually raising the temperature, this should make for easiness to the body.

6. Do that.

7. (Q) How often and how long at a time should the Wet Cell Appliance be used? (A) Preferably use this in the afternoon or evening, from

twenty to thirty minutes, each day.

8. (Q) What may be done to relieve the body of suffering? (A) As indicated, when necessary - but only under the direction of the physician - give a narcotic. Or, as indicated, the suffering should be eased with the application of the heat through the Elliott Machine; using the rectal appliance. This should be most beneficial in reducing the pain and in making for easiness; also in reducing the swelling.

9. (Q) What temperature? (A) Begin as indicated; not too high, but high enough to make for REDUCING, relaxing, healing. This would be gradually raised to at least one fifteen to one twenty. Begin with about one five or one ten.

10. We are through with this reading. Copy to Mother - Air Mail - Special " " Ass'n file (I had a note from Mr. Storey, the young man in charge of the Health Home Remedies Co.'s Appliance Dept., and he says he is getting the Wet Cell Appliance to you as quickly as possible. You may have it by now. You will notice that the application of one anode is changed in this reading from that given before; apparently in order to meet the emergency at this time. Dr. King may be familiar with the Elliott Machine. If not, I'm sure he can find someone in Detroit who is using it. As you will see from the enclosed booklet, The Elliott Machine has several appliances; one for deafness, one for sinus troubles, one for women's pelvic disorders, one for prostates, one for the rectum, etc. So, I'm sure you will have no trouble in finding one of these. It is such a wonderful thing that every physician should have it. GD)
