Time of Reading 5:50 to 6:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [988]; this we have had before.

2. In some respects conditions show an improvement; in others not so well.

3. As we find, there are those tendencies in the areas where the engorgements - or the activity of the lymph in its separations, making for the growths that cause the greater distress to the body - continue to make for distresses.

4. We would use more and more of the temperature through the Elliott Appliance or Machine, which should prevent the inflammation from making so great an inroad in the present.

5. And with those vibrations from the low electrical forces that have been indicated, through the Wet Cell Appliance, and then the adjustments that have been outlined, there should be produced not only that which would allay the condition but produce more and more constructive forces towards the elimination of the causes of the disorder for the body.

6. These, then, we would continue; for in these alone do we find that which may bring any relief or any CONSTRUCTIVE relief for the body.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) Is there any cause for alarm from the condition in the leg? (A) This should rather be an indication that the cells or ducts or channels - through which the flow becomes separated - are in a state of being disseminated; if there is the control of that which produces the disorder, or the separation of the cellular forces through the circulatory system. So, as indicated through the vibratory forces, it is necessary that the eliminations and the drainages be set up - by the stimulation to the various centers that coordinate with the channels of eliminations.

9. (Q) What has produced the swelling to twice the normal size of leg? (A) That as just indicated; the separation of the cells through the lymph and the superficial circulation. And this involves the tissue throughout the limb.

10. (Q) Have the treatments reached at all the cause of the trouble? (A) Only in a partiality. There should be MORE of the heat applied through the Elliott tube. And the low electrical forces through the Wet Cell Appliance should be set for more regularity of application; also the appliance through which the vibrations pass for the body should be kept in a state where the efficiency is not hindered by the tissue that adheres to anodes by their application.

11. (Q) Could he be removed to give the colonic treatments? (A) These would be best with the body not removed, but should be given where the body may rest without too great a disturbance.

12. (Q) What temperature may now be given in the Elliott machine? (A) It should reach at least to 115 to 118.

13. (Q) Why does he apparently seem worse all the time? (A) These periods come, rather than being all the time. For there is the natural reaction from the activity of those causes of infectious forces once begun. As we have indicated, the cause began from an injection into the tissue which caused an influence to gradually grow; this requiring a period of years for the effect to react upon the body. This once begun - as any destructive forces to the influences in the tissue and the elements within the body itself - continues to grow; unless there is that which may offset same. And such has been slow in being applied. And some influences, as we have indicated, have irritated. Hence the process is slow.

14. (Q) Should the body be taken home, or should he remain in Detroit? (A) As we find, the surroundings or the environments for the body in the home would be more preferable; yet the existent conditions are such that it would shorten any activity that may enable resistances to be set up.

15. (Q) What good is the Elliott rectal treatment doing? (A) Keeping down the tendencies for the inflammation to spread more; and should gradually - not all at once, but gradually - make for the inflamed portions, the swollen portions, to lessen.

16. (Q) What is the mucous coming from, that comes from the

988-6 Page 3

tube each time? (A) As given; that between or through the walls of the rectum in those areas from which these disturbances are indicated.

17. (Q) What is causing the swelling or growth in the abdomen? (A) The tissue in the body-forces separating and forming into sacs, tumors or pockets, such as to cause the swelling.

18. (Q) How can this be eliminated quickly? (A) To be the more successive, or successful, in the helpful manner, it CANNOT be done quickly. It must be a natural growth; and with absorptions and eliminations kept so that the SYSTEM takes care of same.

19. (Q) Is there any relation between the tumor and the swelling of the leg? (A) The sources of infectious forces arise from the same character of disturbance.

20. (Q) What relation is there between the swelling in stomach and loss of appetite? (A) This, as we find, is rather a reflex condition - and not arising from the formation of tissue in pockets, sacs or tumors.

21. (Q) How can his appetite be stimulated? (A) Only by causing eliminations to be such that there is the demand from the body - in its vitality - for resuscitating and stimulating forces. This should be a natural outcome of HELPFUL influences for the body; and for the vitality or the 'elan vital' of the body itself to DEMAND sustenance. For the appetite stimulated to excess would produce rather greater disturbing forces, if the system cannot be attuned or have the ability to handle same - that is, the food taken.

22. (Q) What should his diet be? Please suggest outline for each meal. (A) As indicated, it would be preferable that this be outlined by one making the applications of those influences to the body. For all these should coordinate; that is, the diet should coordinate with the manner, the character of the stimuli set up for the eliminations and for the caring for the retaining or sustaining forces that are stimulated. Such suggestions should preferably come from that source - the one making the varied applications.

23. (Q) Are the colonic and osteopathic treatments being correctly given? (A) Not at all times have they been correctly given, yet in the MAIN they have been in what may be said to be the

988-6 Page 4

direction that is correct. There has not been wholly an understanding of the condition to be met by the manipulations and the treatments. The manipulations and adjustments should be more for those centers in the lower lumbar, the central dorsal, the upper cervicals, from which drainages to the system come; the conditions that are naturally being thrown off by the activity of the vibratory forces stimulating as well as the heat effect. For all eliminations from the body are the excess of that which is assimilated by the body; whether refuse forces or the ash or the portions of the system that are used energies that have become as dross to the system. Hence these manipulations should be in those areas and centers that carry not only the eliminations through the alimentary canal (that are so hard to be cared for, through the manner in which same becomes necessary with the body's condition as it exists at present) but through the perspiratory system, through the kidneys, through the respiratory system - and all should coordinate. These produce the disturbance, and hence there has been set an inclination for incoordination between the eliminating systems of the body. Hence the manipulations should be in that direction, as well as the application of those other things indicated.

24. (Q) Would Dr. Thompson be a BETTER man to handle this case than Dr. King? (A) Not better man. But the condition might be better understood if they were to coordinate or cooperate in their suggestions and the applications.

25. (Q) Are the Wet Cell Appliance treatments having the desired effect? (A) As indicated above, not altogether. These should be kept more in order that there may be the perfect connection in those portions where the electrical forces are to affect the body.

26. (Q) Is there any temperature? (A) As is indicated.

27. (Q) Is there anything further to be done to bring immediate relief and improvement? (A) As we find, do as has been indicated. Be more CONSISTENT with the application of those things suggested,

988-6 Page 5

for these offer - as we find from here - the greater opportunity for aid to this body, [988].
