Time of Reading 10:40 to 11:20 A.M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Michigan. (Physical Suggestion - and, "It is desired to clarify for the doctors, present in this room, the details of the treatments that will bring relief for this body.")
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [988]; this we have had before.
2. In many ways we find conditions in the present somewhat exaggerated, or acute. Yet if advantages are taken of even the existent conditions, help or relief - as we find - may be brought for the body.
3. Then, in giving that which may clarify the applications that have been suggested through these channels, the effects that are to be produced upon conditions would be well to outline:
4. As has been indicated, there is little activity through the eliminating channels; produced by the accumulations of lymph in tumor or in a plethora condition existent in organs of the body as well as in tissue through which the functioning of the system has to impel itself.
5. There has been so little coordination in the eliminating systems; that is, not all the poisons in the body may be eliminated through the alimentary canal. Not all may be taken through the pores of the skin. Not all can be taken or eliminated through the kidneys or through the respiratory system. But these are to be made or influenced to COORDINATE as near as possible.
6. Keep, then, an excess in ALL of these that there may be the sufficient eliminations to prevent the poisons being absorbed in the system that cause the destructive forces in the blood supply to more and more impede the circulatory forces through the heart, the lungs and the liver.
7. The other organs then are those most involved; that is,
988-7 Page 2
the lower portion of the hepatic circulation, the intestinal tract, the lymph-producing influences in the ganglia - especially along the LOWER portion of the body.
8. The stimulations to the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus have relieved. A great deal of the condition that is hopeful or helpful arise from this alleviation. Yet the excess or the acute conditions arise from the enlarging of those pressures in the abdominal area, and the involving of the emunctory circulation through the left groin and to the superficial circulation of the lower limbs.
9. Then, to meet these - and in making the applications of those things that have been suggested - and also we would in the present add some conditions that have not heretofore been applied:
10. First, we find the necessity for stimulations that may be made to the body by the osteopathic stimulating of centers along the cerebrospinal system. COORDINATE, gently, the lumbar areas with the solar plexus and the brachial area. Under the existent conditions, this will of necessity be required to be done gently.
11. And in the application of the low electrical vibrations that have been given: Here we would alter the solutions that would act with the system; the reason being:
12. Through the very nature of those infectious forces there has been the lack of acidity in the system to prevent cellular forces from running, as it were, together - through the lymph and emunctory portions of the circulatory forces in the torso or through the abdominal area.
13. And now, through the very activities of those forces that have been applied, there has been used up - as it were - the vitality of the nerve forces that are necessary for the impeding of the activity through the body itself.
14. Then, instead of the Acids (Hydrochloric), we would use another acid - but an acid that acts to create in the body itself an activity in the nerve forces, of which nerve plasm is a part; that is, Chloride of Gold.
15. The solution would be in the proportion of five grains Chloride of Gold to an ounce of distilled water.
16. In making the applications to the body, keep the anodes or the metal plates VERY clean. These should be cleaned not only each time it is used but before and after it is used each time.
17. The attachments would be made in this manner:
18. The smaller or copper anode would be attached first, to the 4th lumbar; and the larger or nickel plate - the line through which the solution passes - would be attached last, to the lacteal duct area.
988-7 Page 3
19. Make the application each day for thirty minutes. Or if there are the nervous reactions, or pains through the body in the abdominal area or in the limb itself, use the Appliance a little oftener - or twice a day, but reduce the time for its use to twenty minutes.
20. In the application of this, these are the effects produced upon the body:
21. LIFE in its expression in a human body is of an electrical nature. The vibrations from LOW electrical forces, rather than the HIGH vibrations (which have destroyed tissue in the body itself here), produce life-flowing effects. Or the vibration begins as a movement of one-two in its molecule of atomic effect about a cycle of activity through the body.
22. As the lacteal duct center is that from which all assimilated forces from the body are carried to the various portions of the body for resuscitating forces, then the VIBRATION through the electrical forces of the Gold should stimulate the activity to the various portions of the system so affected. While the Hydrochloric Acid is necessary in the system, the Gold - being an acid - will induce such an activity in the ducts and glands themselves as to induce or cause the body, though low in its vitality, to CREATE that necessary acid in the present low state.
23. Not only does the activity of the Gold, then, make for this vibration in the body but it produces in the endocrinals - through its associations of the metallic forces from copper to nickel, through the electrical charges, the low form passing through the system - the stamina, as it were, to the plasm of the nerve forces themselves. It also stimulates an increase in the numbers of the leucocyte that are the warriors, and are so lacking in this body.
24. Do that.
25. In the applications then for the eliminations for the body:
26. Through the very pressures that are produced upon the intestinal tract, through the very inflammation that is caused there, there has been not only a cutting off of the eliminations through that channel but a tendency for a form of prolapsus - or a tendency for an adherence of the walls themselves.
27. So, it becomes necessary that the enemas or high colonics be continued; not so high as to produce a greater irritation by the very activity, but use the solutions for same that will cause the nearer activity of replacing the necessary forces in the intestinal tract itself; that will
988-7 Page 4
cause more of the activity in its natural form to be active in the body.
28. Hence the first solution used for the colonic would be slightly saline, or about an ounce of common salt or sodium chloride to the gallon of water. And the last cleansing or rinsing solution should be in the proportion of two tablespoonsful of Petrolagar to a gallon of water - but keep it stirred at the time it is being used.
29. These should be used sufficiently often that there is the evacuation of the colon as much as possible each day.
30. The use of the Elliot Machine or heat through the rectal area, to cause a dissipation of temperature or inflammation:
31. This rectal appliance should be injected as far as possible. And unless it is sufficiently far to reach to at least the second sphincter muscular force it does NOT become as active as it should.
32. These treatments should also be given sufficiently often to cause as little as possible of the accumulations of mucous and offal as thrown off by the very activity of the vibrations of the electrical forces and the stimulations to the centers in the cerebrospinal system; and to cause not only blood flow but nerve energies to pass through these portions of the body.
33. Again an added condition we would give:
34. Not the grape poultices now, in these particular conditions. For the absorptions from the acids of same have had their effect upon the superficial circulation, or through the perspiratory glands of the system - or the sweat glands through which much of the poisons may be eliminated.
35. But to overcome the dropsical or fluid forming portions in the limb and in the abdomen, use the Mullein Stupes - Mullein Stupes. These are to be used at least twice a day. The activities of same upon the body itself will tend to make for the accumulations to be thrown off through the perspiratory system, excessively. Hence it is necessary after each of these stupes that there be used an alkalin or an acid (preferably an acid) antiseptic solution, for the cleansing of the limb and the abdomen. These stupes may be given for a period of half an hour to an hour, so long as they are kept in a manner that they will be active to remove the accumulations.
36. These are the properties in same, then, and how they affect the body. The heat from the very activity or applications of the stupes, to be sure, OPENS - as it were - the pores. And the very nature of the Mullein is to absorb poisons from the body itself; relieving pain and causing the accumulations to be thrown off through the respiratory
988-7 Page 5
system.
37. These DO.
38. Be patient. Be persistent, and KNOW - while the body, the soul, [988], is meeting in itself those influences in a manifestation of that as created in its OWN self; brought about, to be sure, by those things that have been indicated, in the early periods of its inception and its activity in this material world - those who minister, those who apply their understanding, must realize that this is also a portion of their own SOUL development.
39. For those who would apply their ministry for their OWN glorification, for their own indulgence, do so to their own DAMNATION!
40. For, "As ye do it unto the least of my children ye do it unto me."
41. These be, then, the manners, as we find physically that, applied, will bring not only to those ministering but to this soul - seeking expression in an afflicted body, in a turmoil in the flesh - those blessings from the Creative Forces in a material world.
42. Ready for questions.
43. (Q) Is the applicator for the Elliot Machine as being used as satisfactory as that suggested by Dr. King [See 988-7, Par. R3] which will go further into the rectum? (A) As indicated here, an applicator that would go further would be more satisfactory in the effects created. For the closer under, as it were, that the heat may be applied, the more effective also may be the heat or stupes from without.
44. (Q) Then the applicator which has been ordered would be more satisfactory? (A) As indicated.
45. (Q) How frequently should the Elliot Machine be used? (A) Sufficiently frequent, as would also the colonic irrigations, to keep the secretions cleansed and eliminated - not only from the fecal forces but those natural secretions that enter the channels through absorption by the heat as may be applied.
46. (Q) Would you advise moving the body each time for the colonics? (A) The more quiet the body can be kept the more effective may be all the vibrations and applications for the body, and the more helpful. For not only are there the physical conditions to be met but the mental conditions in the body also. The conditions that produce fear should be eliminated as much as possible, and those that cause great anxiety; though, to be sure, resistances of every nature are natural with the body. But create hopefulness in the mental body; not, as it were, by petting all the time - nor always giving
988-7 Page 6
in to each and every desire or inclination of the body. For the more quiet or the more understanding there is from those applying ANY of the suggestions to the body, that there is being the PROPER care, the more helpful will it be to the body in gaining an equilibrium. To be sure, there are surroundings to be desired; for these at present make for anxieties. If there is the greater desire on the part of the body, on the part of those making the applications for the beneficial effects, then MOVE the body to the surroundings where all these suggestions may be the more EFFECTIVELY carried out - WITHOUT disturbing forces surrounding same.
47. (Q) In case the body's surroundings are changed, just what kind of colonics would you suggest, and how may they be given? without moving the body? (A) There must of necessity be used the colon applicator that has the return flow, or an irrigating effect upon the body; with the ability of the fecal forces being thrown from the body without the activities at present of the organs themselves. Whatever form of colonic machine is used, let it be with a return flow - and one that may be used by the bed.
48. (Q) Would you suggest a type of machine that may be gotten? (A) There are many that are of the type that may be used for these conditions. The Vattenborg (though irritating, as may be considered by some), if used PROPERLY, is the better.
49. (Q) Just what surroundings would you suggest as best? (A) Those that are cheery; with those about the body - the nurse, the family - NEVER expressing other than hopefulness. Not to create false hopes; for, to be sure, the condition is serious - but it may be much MORE serious! But, as given - which is a universal law - there is a way of escape prepared for those that love the Lord. And this applies not only to the sufferer but to those ministering. To some this may become trite, this may become foolishness. Yet in the foolishness of man is found the wisdom of God.
