Time of Reading 12:40 to 1:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Mich. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [988].
2. Now, as we find, there are changes in the general physical forces of the body; and these are for betterments in the present. With some minor changes made, we find that there should be a continuation of the body's gaining strength and resistance. And with this gaining of strength, there should be the ability to overcome or to throw off a great deal of the disturbing conditions that have been results of the conditions, as well as the primary causes that first brought about such reactions.
3. We would, then, consider the conditions as individual activities as well as the whole. For first, as is understood by any making application:
4. Though there may be an individual reaction of an organ, for the proper consideration of a disturbance - in making applications for permanent beneficial conditions, the ability for such disturbed condition or organ to become coordinant with the whole system is most necessary.
5. While vitality has been and is yet at times very low, the ability for the system to assimilate - and to have assimilated with same properties that make for an activity in the very flow of energy in the nerve system itself, that is in its nature of reaction creative in its influence in the plasm of the nerve and blood supply - makes for more hopeful conditions.
6. Hence, it is well that there be continued the use then, regularly, of the Wet Appliance - or the galvanic battery forces that carry the Gold solution for its vibrations through the system. In making the applications, then, insure that the plates or anodes are in contact with body at specified centers; for these must be that source of supply where not only the ability of assimilation is aided but where the manner or the effect of that assimilated upon the
988-10 Page 2
system is dependent for its radial activity of the elements induced to become active in the system by the low electrical vibration created in the charge passing through same. Not only is it necessary that they be kept clean, then, and that they be in contact, but that the charge of the electrical forces be kept nominal. CHANGE the Gold solution. And also the anode or lead lead that is hollow (or should be) should be CLEANED when disconnected from the body. While the charge remains through the lead tube vacuum, this will be more active if attended to.
7. Then, as to the effect that the manipulations have: These are stimulations for the body to aid in drainages, that induce eliminations of poisons from the system; and aid in carrying the energies of the circulation, the activity of the impulses in the circulation, through the ganglia and along the nervous system. So these are very necessary to be kept, in the proportions and in the order as the bodily conditions indicate; varying only according to the necessity of stimulating drainages from alimentary canal, the flow of the circulation from extremities - of those portions where affected parts show settlings. In such ways and manners, as it were, keep the body exercised; or give it the necessary forces for resting the body. For there is the inability of the body to be active in its influence of movements, save the arms and then a portion of the upper part of body. Hence such osteopathic stimulation, properly administered, as indicated from the first, will keep ALL portions as near coordinant as the body will permit. That is, as there has been tissue burned or deadened through the lack of the lymph flow and the inability for activities through the system, stimulate gradually the flow to the lower portion of the alimentary canal. Thus the ability of the body may be allowed to become more active and with less necessity for the irritations that are naturally produced by such stimulations that are necessary at times from the great number of colonics and the use of the Elliot Appliance; for these become necessary for the allaying of the condition or for stimulating the flow of circulation to portions where there is little activity through the burned tissue there.
8. Hence we would find that these (the colonics and Elliot application) may be alternated or diminished in their numbers, provided there is sufficient stimulation osteopathically (gently, to be sure) in the lumbar, sacral, and especially (and this very, very gently in the beginning, until there can be more and more decrease in the colonics and the heat necessary) the plexus about the coccyx end of the spine.

9. Do not bruise; do not cause tissue to become irritated. But the general movement of same, gradually, will aid; as will also holding ganglia as in the axis of the pelvis - or in the 4th lumbar center. This should not be as a pulling from one side to another, as is ordinarily indicated, but a holding of this - as the bursae (which are, of course, minute - according to the finger, or if compared to the hand), a gentle rotary pressure in this center, will not only aid in relieving this flow from the tendency of the accumulation in the pelvic area (the tumorous reaction or the lymph coagulation there, that is gradually being reduced) but will prevent same from forming into multiples. For this is the tendency of such an affliction, in the attempt of the flow of lymph from the superficial circulation to coordinate with the internal circulation - which is, of course, the basis or the primary cause, arising from the effluvium that has at times arisen in the skin circulation.
10. Then, as to the diet and the general activities about the body, [988]:
11. Do not OVERFEED. But as there is the general desire of the body for this or that, or for most anything, give a very small quantity - enough to satisfy the mental body. But let the body be warned as to what is taking place throughout the system. Let him study, as it were, the information itself. Let him interest himself in that which will be helpful and hopeful. Let him understand that the basis for corrective forces comes from the Creative Energies that are within. And in meeting these in self, it is not for self-indulgence, not for those things that would make an exaltation. But rather let the Spirit of Truth permeate the mind as it works with those applications that may be made. Thus it creates and makes for a mental attitude which enables every cell of the body itself (that is being enlivened by those influences from the activity of the electric forces created) to be more in accord with Creative or God-forces manifesting in a material body.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) How often should the Gold solution be changed? (A) Each time the battery is recharged. Recharge the battery solution, then, every twenty-six days.
14. (Q) How often is it necessary to clean the lead wire in the Gold solution? (A) At least every three days.
15. (Q) May the Elliot and colonic treatments be alternated? (A) As indicated, they may be alternated. The minor changes in these directions have been outlined. The body
988-10 Page 4
may be aided much by the applications of the massage - that is, the osteopathic massage; for there's a great deal of difference between osteopathic massage and just massage - properly given. For the conditions in the limb we would apply the Mullein Stupes, as indicated. And when giving the osteopathic massage treatments, GENTLY manipulate the bursae of both feet; also those in the area under the knee - this especially as a little of the manipulation is given to stimulate the coccyx plexus. This aids the portion of the lower limbs, through the flow, as indicated - and as is seen from the natural anatomical structure of the body itself. For, as is indicated on the exterior portion of the lower limb (that is under the greater stress at the time), external blisters appear - as one is there now. The bursa manipulation will aid the Achillean bursa so that it will be more normal; also the central bursa, under the feet, and those in the middle or just across the toes. Then the duct or the area through which the flow comes, under the knee, around the kneecap, in the supply of those forces - and these tend to the upper portion of that plexus or area from which the sciatic center radiates; which, of course, comes eventually to the lumbar plexus.
16. (Q) What will relieve the severe pains in preference to narcotics? (A) As indicated, those low electrical forces are the better, that may gradually build resistances from the acid produced - such as to keep a balance in the system. This method is slow, but sure. Hence it is advisable at times to use the narcotics, when periods of activity are such as to indicate that these become necessary; but always under the supervision of the physician. Of course, there are cycles of varied activities of the system. The body replenishes itself every seven years in toto. What is acting today may be tomorrow another cycle of another portion's activity. Well, you can write books on these - for they are each indicated. But keeping all coordinant, we gradually work out those changes. Hence, as indicated, use the Appliance - Wet Cell Appliance - twice a day.
17. (Q) Which of the applicators that have been used for the Elliot machine is the best, that will do the most good in this case? (A) The one that reaches the farther into the area of disturbance, as given.
18. (Q) Any change in the tumor?
988-10 Page 5
(A) As indicated, while there are other formations - or a multiple - all are smaller.
19. (Q) What has caused the shifting of the pain in the left leg, from the upper portion to the knee, foot and ankle? (A) As just outlined by the manner in which this portion, or the limb, is to be cared for. The natural slowness of circulation causes accumulations in the varied areas as indicated. Thus we have these variations at times, through the periods of too long a position in one place or another, such as to leave a slowed circulation. And that there is a shifting is the indication of the help gradually coming.
20. (Q) Is the Wet Cell Appliance working properly? (A) Working properly. As soon as possible it would be preferable to alter the anodes or plates to those that are more of a cup form, as we have indicated for such. Do not wait or worry, but see that these are kept more in contact. For with these made in this manner, if the cords above same are arranged to hold same in place, so that the contact is under given centers or areas, the more effective would the applications become. Hence if we would take out the cords and apply same with adhesive, while it would be more irritating to the body at some times, it would be very helpful.
21. (Q) What is retarding the normal functioning of the kidneys and bowels? (A) Tissues that have been so deadened, so irritated. See, the activity of the kidneys in its secretions is to coordinate with the activity of the liver. The liver is both an excretory and secretive organ, while the kidneys make for an activity which supplies - through their actions - an entirely different effect upon the glands; but they are an eliminating channel. Where the tissues about the capsules of the kidneys themselves have been deadened, they are GRADUALLY being re-enlivened. Then the drain, or the connection between the kidney area and the bladder itself, also has had a pressure - from the tumors; and the tissue has been deadened in its activity. Hence the tendency for the constant drain has been and is evidenced by the very activity that takes place. Hence the gradual stimulation, the necessity of holding - as indicated - the 4th lumbar center, from which the LOWER impulses are received; while the centers from which organs maintain or attain a great deal of impulse for activity are much higher in the system - or in the 9th dorsal area. But the LOWER stimulation through the cerebrospinal's brush end and in the areas about the hip joint, from which a great
988-10 Page 6
deal of impulse by its activity is a stimulation to the blood, is from the 4th lumbar - or this axis center. So, we would stimulate the flow for impulse of activity that gradually creates the sphincter activity; not only of the tube to the bladder and from the bladder through the penis but those from the other portions as they act upon the alimentary canal in the same way and manner.
22. (Q) What is causing swelling in the abdomen? (A) The natural tendencies from SLOWNESS of assimilation through the jejunum and the natural indications that arise. Hence those necessities, as indicated heretofore, of there not being allowed the fecal forces to accumulate - but to remove same by colonics, until the replenishing osteopathically can be such as to create impulses that will build resistances and more normal assimilations.
23. (Q) There is concern over the condition of the rectum. (A) It has been indicated how and why there should be the gentle applications about the centers in the coccyx area, and as to how the colonics and Elliot treatments should not be given so often. But do not let the ANXIETY over the irritation there so OVERCOME conditions as to cause a greater amount of poison accumulations to be absorbed by the tumorous forces; that are gradually being broken up and are still being less and less in their intensity, so that they may gradually be eliminated. If it requires years, all the better - if it's done PROPERLY; for it will then be RIGHT - and not all awry!
