Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [989], present in this room.

2. Now, as we find, conditions are very good in many respects. Yet there may be precautions taken, there may be activities in the physical forces of the body to prevent disturbances arising; and so strengthen those tendencies in portions of the system as to make for a much more normal body for the activities in this experience.

3. Much might be given this body as respecting its material and mental and soul experiences.

4. In the physical forces of the body in the present, we find these conditions:

5. The BLOOD SUPPLY is very good in the main. There are those tendencies, from the activity which has existed in the physical functionings of portions of the system, that make for pressures in the sympathetic nervous system; hindering the circulation in its relation to the soft tissue of the face, the head, and through some portions of the neck. These, as we find, arise from an impingement that exists in the 3rd and 4th cervical area, thus producing a reflex to the secondary cardiac plexus that makes a tendency in the lung area and in the trachea and bronchial centers for irritations. These are only tendencies in the present, and give rise to the conditions that appear in portions of the body.

6. Thus that condition is caused in the blood flow where the separation, as it were, to the superficial circulation produces at times areas over the body where there are irritations through the lymph and emunctory activity.

7. Hence we have spots where the irritation is as a tickling, or an indication of a disturbed superficial circulation. These arise from those impingements and tendencies as indicated in the upper cervical areas.

8. As to the NERVE FORCES of the body, these are very good

989-1 Page 2

in the main. There are those inclinations that arise from the very high nerve tension at times, making for the tendencies of the inability for the body to rest and to bring the RECUPERATIVE forces as it should. Hence there are periods, not always, when there are irritations and the inability of the body to rest as thoroughly as it should.

9. In the activity of this to the assimilating system, we have that which causes a tendency - from congestion which has existed in the body - towards a colon disorder. This is a nervous condition, as well as one that exists in the physical functioning of the portion of the system; but is nervous in its incipiency or beginning. Hence those disturbances that arise from same.

10. In the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, we find:

11. Brain forces are very good.

12. Disturbances in the sensory organism are indicated at periods, from a subluxation in the 3rd and 4th cervical area.

13. In the bronchi, lungs and larynx there is a disturbed circulation, as we have given.

14. Heart's action in the ORGANIC functioning is good; in the reflexes from the nervous forces there is an increase in the pulsations.

15. In the digestive area, as indicated, there are disturbances at times through the assimilations - or in the lacteal ducts; as produced by sympathetic conditions through the nerve forces from a colon disorder that arose from an intestinal flu, or intestinal congestion. This makes for the nausea or those disturbances with the congestion that at times arises.

16. As to the organs of the pelvis in their functioning and activity with the upper and lower hepatic circulation, these are very good; only at times the nervous reactions that cause disturbances.

17. As we find, the meeting not only of the physical forces but to produce and bring about the greater abilities in the mental attitude, would be through the breathing exercises; or the nature of STRETCHING exercise taken WITH the breathing that would make for keeping the body more near normal, increasing those necessary influences for the overcoming of the tendencies in the body for those disturbances indicated.

18. Such an exercise would be that described as the STRETCHING of the arms, the lower limbs, with the intake and the sudden exhale from the lungs themselves; that not only purifies the activity of the source of energizing - or the energies for the blood supply - but alleviates those

989-1 Page 3

tendencies for the pressures that are indicated in the cervical areas.

19. We would keep this a little of morning and a little in the evening before retiring.

20. The body-activities should be such as to keep the cleansing of the colon; through the use of enemas that are necessary at times to remove the congestions through the colon area. Such a colonic irrigation once a month, or the like, will remove those influences that tend to make for toxic conditions throughout the system.

21. These, as we find, will bring the near normal conditions for this body.

22. Ready for questions.

23. (Q) Should I have an operation on my nose? (A) As we find, if the head and neck exercises are taken, with the stretchings, these conditions would be greatly reduced. It may become necessary for an operation, but we would not have same until there have been at least three to six weeks of a CONCERTED activity in those stretching and breathing exercises. In the breathing exercises, hold first one side of the nostril and inhale through the right side, you see; expelling when there has been taken all the breath that may be with the bending exercises and stretching, see? and exhaling through the left nostril. This will make for a flow of the blood and the activities set up by the exercises so that drainage there will make for greater improvements; and, as we find, the whole condition may be relieved. Keep your diet more alkalin-reacting.

24. (Q) How about my complexion at the present time? (A) As indicated, there are disturbances in the circulation to the superficial activities. So, spots are caused - as indicated - where the poor circulation passes through portions of the system, or tends to make for those disturbances. The exercises and breathings, as indicated, will change this materially.

25. (Q) How about the hair on my face? Can anything be done about that? (A) If those properties as in the diet of certain elements are left out entirely, as potatoes, as those of certain starches, we will find that with those rubbings and those general activities this will disappear.

26. (Q) What else besides potatoes should be left out of the diet?

989-1 Page 4

(A) The heavier starches; as potatoes in any form (unless sweet potatoes, of course, that are prepared in certain ways or manners), rice and white bread.

27. (Q) How can I control my nerves better? (A) As indicated, there are specific centers that make for disturbing factors to the nerves; those from the cervical area, where a subluxation exists, where the stretching - rather than massage or correction of that nature - would change the positions, you see, that leave a nerve tension. Also, as indicated, there are those conditions in the colon area that make for toxic forces in the system. The stretching, the breathing, and - most of all for this (the control of the nerves) - the colonic irrigations will relieve these tensions. Thus we will find the body RESTING better; more pep, vim and vitality throughout! Do those, in that manner. Stretch like the cat would; arms above the head, one arm high the other holding - of course - the side of the nostril; bend to that side, bend through the arms; through the upper portion of the spine, then through those along the lower portion. This will make for more symmetrical activities, more rhythm, and be more in line with the general activity of the body. While there is a great deal of body movement and activity, these DO NOT bring into play the muscles and the nerve tendons that are taut in portions of the body, as would these stretching and breathing exercises - which, in combination, will overcome these conditions. And keep the mental body in a constructive manner. Let all of thine activities be imbued with the spirit of helpful, hopeful purposefulness in every way. And you will find greater possibilities, greater opportunities. For much is before this body in its opportunities.

(I would suggest a good hydrotherapist for the colonic irrigations; one a month, as indicated; such as may be had at The Reilly Service, RCA Bldg., N. Y. C. See list [which was enclosed] of Alkalin-Reacting Foods. If everything is not clear, let us know. GD. [See 989-1, Par. R1.])
