Time of Reading ... Hotel, 11:50 to 12:15 A.M. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. N.Y.C. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
2. While there is still much to be desired in the physical forces of the body, we find that the conditions are such, the reactions to the bodily functions are such within the system, if the body keeps itself in mind, in body, ACTIVE in DOING those influences and things it KNOWS to do, the reactions are - and will be - in a nominal, normal manner.
3. When the body allows self to become rather indulgent in the influences pertaining to diet, that have not proved or do not prove to be the better reactions in the system, because of those forces that arise from certain characters of foods, we find that the reactions are not so good.
4. Then, let the mind COORDINATE with same and leave these off! Change to those things that create more of a balance. For those influences that are about the body are such that they may not only keep a balance, but they will GROW to become greater helpful, greater hopeful influences throughout the system.
5. Those conditions that have formerly made for pressures in various centers of the nerve forces such as to produce headaches, the acute pains in portions of the body, do arise. But should the body then allow self to become submerged by fear of what may happen? KNOW, as has been given, then, that the strength, the power, the influence to meet ANY emergencies within thine experience are ever present, at thine own disposal, if thou wilt but hold to that of the divinity within self to meet all of these.
6. Not of self may it be accomplished, but by drawing upon, by becoming as one WITH those forces.
7. In the applications of self, well for the body to keep in the open. Or when dark days or periods tend to make for moroseness or melancholia or disturbing forces, then use the influences that create the same activity as the sun - or the
1000-12 Page 2
rays of light from the ultra-violet that bring to the body the motivating forces physically that bring healing.
8. And we will find, with keeping the manners as indicated in the diets and in the general activities, the body should be aided greatly towards normalcy.
9. Keep the self busy! DO NOT begin ever to feel sorry for self, or that it is being imposed upon! For if ye know the truth, the truth shall make you FREE!
10. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) Was the work done during the recent stay in the hospital beneficial? (A) If the general activities mentally and physically are kept towards this becoming as normalcy for the body, beneficial. If the body allows self to become fearful as to whether these things can or would accomplish that desired, or as to whether the condition was preparing to be or making itself felt again, then - remember, we build such. But keep those attitudes and those activities such that they are of a constructive nature in the experience.
12. (Q) What causes the dizzy spells I have been having, and how may I stop them? (A) This is the attempt of the body to coordinate, in its imaginative or sympathetic forces and the deeper or cerebrospinal forces of the body. These spells come from turmoils as within, rather than any PHYSICAL condition. To be sure, though, they produce a physical effect; but remember that the MIND - that is, the imaginative or sympathetic forces and the bodily functions are merely manners of EXPRESSIONS of self. Thus when such occur or are felt, remain quiet for a moment, turn as from outside to the within, and say, "KEEP THOU THE WAY. THOU KNOWEST BEST. LET THY WILL BE DONE." This brings an attitude, this brings an emotion that will bring harmonious forces.
13. (Q) What is the condition of the teeth and gums and what should I do for them? (A) These, as we find, in the main are in a very good condition. While the circulation at times makes for a pressure, and to be sure it makes for the awareness as it were of those fears that have so oft brought detrimental forces for the body, we find that keeping for a cleansing of the gums, of the teeth in a nominal way, will make for better influences throughout.
1000-12 Page 3
Use those forces that stimulate the circulation, not to excess such that it makes for irritations to cause localization, but in the nominal way and manner care for these - and we will find we will keep a normal condition there.
14. (Q) Is there anything wrong with the last tooth in upper left jaw? (A) Nothing wrong. Merely keep the circulation around same by the gentle massages of the gum, and we will find these will be NOMINAL conditions for the body.
15. (Q) Is the lower left jaw in condition to have the bridge work done now, and what type? (A) This will be in a BETTER condition a little bit later, when there are the seasonal conditions of the body. Before the hot weather, then, or the great changes that come in the activities, this may be done. And, as we find, those that make for the connections between - or for fastenings from one to the other - are the better type for this body. Those that may be taken out and replaced. For the body will have to naturally adjust itself to the newness, to the changes. And if these were stationary, well it would torment the body until it would have to change the whole thing! Let the body, then, in its mental balance, make for the use in the way and manner that would gradually be adjusted to the changes.
16. (Q) What diet should I follow? (A) The diet has been outlined. In the milks, use the malted or dry milks rather than those in which there is so much of the fat or animal fat. For the body has in its meditations, in its activities, made for changes in the vibratory forces of the body itself. And animal fats then become a hardship upon the general system. But keep for a normal balance of the alkalin reaction. Not that no meats should ever be taken; for fowl, fish, mutton or lamb are well. But other types are not so well. Wild game in its regular season is well. Keep a well-balanced vegetable diet, making for the correct balance; that is, not that it becomes rote, but watch self. If too great a combination of such as peas, lentils, beans, carrots, becomes a hardship or produces - as from the natural coloring, the natural manner in which these are prepared - irritation through the creating of an effluvium in the blood stream, it is not that the food VALUE itself is wrong; possibly it's the preparation! These should be noted and watched by the body. For all of these especially as indicated are well for the body, though they do make
1000-12 Page 4
disturbances in their preparation. There is a vast difference in the effect they create upon the body itself when prepared differently! For carrots, both raw and cooked, are helpful - and helpful elements of a special nature that are especially good for the body. But there should be almost as many eaten raw as there are cooked! And when cooked, NOT with a lot of others, but in their OWN juices! For these are the better.
17. (Q) Should the Ash and Light treatment be continued? (A) As indicated, NOW only when there are periods of dark days, or the tendencies for the body to feel morose or as "left alone."
18. (Q) What laxative, if any, is advised? (A) As we find for this body, the more oft just the vegetable forces - as the pie plant, whether this is cooked or in those forms of pastries, or taken just as a portion of a meal - would be the better than minerals. Vegetables rather for this body in the laxatives than minerals.
19. (Q) Any specific suggestions regarding the eyes? (A) As we find, we would make for the special head and neck exercises morning and evening. But don't do it one day and then skip a week before it's done again, or do it today and skip tomorrow, or do it the next day and then skip two or three! Have a regular period, and only requiring a few minutes. Upon arising, let it do the head and neck exercise before ANY activity is done. Sitting erect, roll the head forward once, twice; circular motion left to right, then right to left; then to side; then to back. This may all be done in two and a half minutes. Do not hasten, but know that these are creating a relaxing of the body. In the evening before retiring, when ready for retiring, let the head and neck exercise be rather the stretching - not rotary motion but, rather then forward or backward, just turn a little or stretch up. This may appear rather futile in the beginning, but a minute of this and we will find gradually the body will rest much better, there will be a changed condition throughout as for the head, the throat, the mouth, and the eyes - of course - especially. The hearing and the balance will be much better.
20. (Q) I hold a preparation for freshening fur in my hand. Would you advise me to place this preparation on the market? If so, how can it be improved to work more effectively? (A) Now there are, as we find, certain types of fur this would be rather DETRIMENTAL to than being helpful to. If it is to be put on the market, then consider this as a
1000-12 Page 5
condition - and do not use it upon those certain types of fur or of animal that are taken in the season when there is the preparation, as it were, for the winter fur to grow or for the new fur to come out, see? and especially on rabbit, squirrel, or those natures. But on others it may be very, very helpful. As to any changes that we would find, only this: In the preparation, if there will be a low current of electricity passed THROUGH same, it will make a great ENLIVENING to the activity of this preparation upon fur. Prepare in this way and manner: As it is combined, you see, place in a container in which a low voltage of electrical forces are passed through. What is the effect of this, is asked? As is seen and known by all, electrical forces are the very LIFE of the whole body; though these may have been taken from other influences or animal forces, the life of same is carried in the bulbular forces that are within the texture or the skin itself. And these enliven same; not to where they make for the shedding more, rather the opposite.
21. (Q) What do you advise me regarding this idea embodying body a beater and comb to be sold direct with the preparation? (A) These are very good, and these may be put together in such a way and manner as to be of a great monetary help or aid as well as, MOST of all, an effective or helpful way for preservation of furs.
