1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1001] - this we have had before. In the general, the physical conditions are progressing very satisfactorily. There are tendencies at times for the body to become, mentally and physically, overwrought. More quiet - quiet in this sense does not necessarily mean lying still, but to exert self's mental forces to become more quiet from within. Unless there may be an effort put forth on the part of SELF to control self - not to please others, not necessarily to please self - but to be MASTER of self and not just dependent upon another because it is made possible for self! Not only be alright; not only be good, but be good FOR SOMETHING! How much does the entity in self CONSIDER the effort that may be put forth to be BENEFICIAL in self to another? Is it seeking ONLY to gain that, that may be gathered from another? or may it give SOMETHING OF self in return to others? Everyone! that the life may be at least interesting, and interesting for something.
2. Keep the application as has been given, and learn first to control self, self's own desires - that so oft bespeak of gratification of fleshly relations, fleshly desires, in a social, in a physical, in ANY manner. USE such energies for the benefit of another ONCE, and you will have gained much! Ready for questions.
3. (Q) Is body smoking in excess? (A) When the body feels that it is in excess, which he does at times - just to do it is too much. Cut off one when you want it - don't do it until the next time you want to!
4. (Q) How can body gain weight? (A) Gain first control of self, and he can gain whatever he may desire.
5. (Q) Should tonsils be removed? (A) Be mighty well for it to!
6. (Q) Why unable to sleep?
1001-2 Page 2
(A) Not able to sleep from the causes as has been warned against, allowing self to become restless, and allowing self to be wanting to do this, that, the other! Just lack of control of self! The physical is being set in the position where it acts nearer toward a normal condition. Will the body MENTAL OF self aid? or will it combat? That's, then, with the entity itself.
7. (Q) Would it be advisable to take sedatives to induce sleep? (A) Then the body is seeking to be dependent upon somebody else! rather than self! That's just what we've been fighting against all along! If he desires to do that, and, somebody wants to be rid of it - why alright, go ahead and do it! Just making the way longer, the conditions harder. Just determine in self - not that he's going to just get out of the way, to be out of the way, and to satisfy self - but trust in something BESIDES self, and live for something and MAKE it worth while!
8. (Q) What outdoor exercises should be taken? (A) Sufficient to make the body PHYSICALLY tired. Then rest.
9. (Q) Are directions for treatment being carried out in all detail? (A) Hasn't it been given that the physical conditions are responding? The mental needs its own self control. They are!
10. (Q) What causes the bad taste and stomach upset? Give remedy? (A) Soda water. Use it!
11. That is all the questions regarding this body.
