1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mrs. [1010].

2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions in the physical functioning of the body. These have been somewhat of long standing, or the causes that have brought about the disturbance.

3. These have become, then, something of a constitutional nature, or the body has builded that to function THROUGH those disturbances to the bodily organs.

4. Thus there will be the necessity of the disturbances being eradicated, and then conditions that would gradually make the change in the physical forces of the body such that there may be the absorption of disturbing factors; and then the activities as to make for the bodily resuscitation of forces and influences that would bring about near normal forces for the body.

5. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1010] we are speaking of:

6. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY we find there are disturbances in the organs through which there is the cleansing of the blood - and the activity in the alteration of the new supply of blood. Hence we have a disturbance that is in the nature of not only poisons carried in same but an unbalancing in the manner in which there is created in the balance of the blood forces the NUMBERS of red blood and white blood cell forces and the leucocytes. And these have made and do make for some disturbances in the superficial as well as in the deeper circulation and the functioning of organs as related to the hepatic circulation specifically.

7. The natural tendencies are for the NERVE FORCES of the body to be very good, though there are periods when the distresses have come to the body through a choking that exists in the area of the gall duct - and sedimentary conditions exist there, so that strangulation occurs at periods. These make for pressures and for reactions upon

1010-6 Page 2

the nerve forces that have been very aggravating, causing the gradual breaking down of the entity's ability to CONTROL the uniform forces between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic or vegetative nerve forces of the body. Hence we find periods when there are conditions causing the body to almost have the "jitters" in various portions, with trembling sensations even in the lower extremities, as well as in the torso and upper extremities of the body. All of these cause disconcerting and disturbing effects; causing nausea, a congestion, and all of the recurrent conditions that come with those activities from the centers along the cerebrospinal system from which the sympathetic system and the functioning of the organs themselves receive their activity.

8. These, then, are the conditions as we find them in the functioning of the ORGANS themselves:

9. Brain forces are very good. Conditions in the throat, in the activities of the nerve forces from the sympathetics especially to the throat, cause a filling up or a producing of phlegm at times. These come as much from the atmospheric pressure, and the combinations with the activities of the sympathetic nerve forces relating to activities of organs as indicated, as they do from disturbance in the body itself. Hence they are sympathetic reactions; yet causing at periods a great deal of distress to and through the activities in these portions of the body.

10. The heart's activity, through those conditions in the blood supply, shows a disorder in itself. Not what may be called wholly an organic condition, neither is it purely reflex; neither is it through the effect of something else or some other condition, but that which has gradually been builded. Hence sedatives, narcotics, those influences that would be to DEADEN the nerve forces - as in using any FORM of coma - would be very, VERY bad for the body, owing to those conditions that exist in the muscular forces and in the valvular activities of the organ itself.

11. The lung forces are very good.

12. Digestive forces are very bad, not only because of the activities through the nerve forces of the body but through those specific conditions where there is the lack of the proper supply of nerve energy from the secondary cardiac area to the lower portion of the UPPER part of the solar plexus area - that supplies the energy to the emptying of the stomach, or through the esophagus and through those portions of the activities of the lacteal ducts with secretions from the pancreas, the liver, in the excretory functioning for the activity. All of these tend to make for

1010-6 Page 3

the distresses that occur through the stomach itself, and the DIGESTIVE forces are disturbed through same. Also as indicated, in the gall duct area itself we find a form of strangulation, owing to sedimentary conditions and the natural activity of the liver itself is to become torpid. This is indicated not only by the blood supply and the circulatory forces but by the very activity of the superficial circulation in itself throughout the body. The trembling sensation from the lower portion of the body, to the lower limbs at times, is also indicated from these conditions - as well as that disturbance which this has made with the lower portion of the hepatic circulation, or in the activities of the kidneys themselves. Also there is the inflammation from the bladder and those conditions which existed there in times back. While these are in abeyance at present, they are a portion of the disorder and will become disturbed through the activities as may bring about the better conditions for this body.

13. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions in the present, as we have indicated it would be well that there be applied those conditions which will first tend to make for a removal or for an activity through the alimentary canal itself, and make for a cleansing of this area about the liver. And yet these will require precautions, as well as a consistent and systematic activity as related to the rest of the body as coordinating with same, through the longstanding of the conditions themselves.

14. First, then, we would begin with taking a HIGH enema. Preferably use a colon tube, so as to remove from the colon all those tendencies for the fecal forces to have been accumulations in portions of the caecum area. To each gallon and a half of tepid water add a heaping tablespoonful of baking soda and a level teaspoonful of table salt, dissolved well. Then, after all this solution has been carried into the system and gradually ejected, through those activities from the repulsive forces of the system itself in throwing out the fecal forces through the activity of the peristaltic movement of the intestinal tract itself, we would use another solution as an antiseptic rinse. In this last two quarts of tepid water use a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline. Take such a HIGH enema (with the two solutions) FIRST. Rest that day.

15. Then we would begin, (the next day after the enema) with the Castor Oil Packs. But first paint the area over the gall duct and over the ileum plexus, all of the right side and over the liver area, with a solution of three parts Tincture of Laudanum and one part Aconite. Then apply the

1010-6 Page 4

hot Castor Oil Packs over the same area, keeping them on for periods of at least an hour - and as warm as the body can stand same. It would be well to keep the Castor Oil Pack warm (after it is put on the body) by using either a salt pack or an electric pad. Preferably the salt, however; heavy salt, heated, in a bag, and applied to keep the Castor Oil Pack warm for an hour. Then rest for a couple of hours, and then repeat the painting followed by another pack for an hour.

16. On the NEXT day begin with taking a quarter teaspoonful of the Alcaroid after each meal, for that one day.

17. In the evening of the same day the Alcaroid has been taken (that is, before retiring), take TWO - just TWO - Caroid and Bile Salts tablets.

18. The NEXT day begin with the Castor Oil Packs again, and take them every two or three hours - for an hour at a time.

19. Then the next day take another high enema.

20. Keep fruit juices and vegetable juices as the principal part of the diet. Little or no activities from the solid foods, as of meats or white bread or anything of that nature; but keep the vegetables and soft foods or fruit juices - and fruit juices principally, you see, for the first portion of the treatments.

21. After all the above treatments, then take INTERNALLY all the Olive Oil that the body will absorb; in small doses, for two to three days. About half a teaspoonful every hour or as often and as much as the body can assimilate.

22. At the end of that period, we find that the fecal forces should be eliminated. Naturally, then, there will be required a rest period; and there will be some reactions that will for the time being be a bit unpleasant. There will be some nausea; some conditions in the lower limbs and some activities and reflexes from the activities of the kidneys and portions of the system that will make conditions disturbing. But rest.

23. And THEN begin with the low electrical treatments from the Wet Cell Appliance, that would carry INTO the system one day the Spirits of Camphor and the next day the Tincture of Iodine or (more preferably) the Atomidine. Both of these would be in the full strength as may be procured at the drug store. The attachments would be made in this manner:

24. The small copper plate would be attached first, at the 4th dorsal center. The larger nickel plate would be attached last (the one passing through the solution, you see), over the umbilicus and lacteal duct and gall duct area.

25. Apply this for thirty minutes each day (one day using

1010-6 Page 5

the Camphor solution, the next day the Atomidine), for a period of about ten days.

26. THEN (but continuing the Wet Cell Appliances or applications each day as indicated throughout) we would begin with taking about six or eight treatments by the GENERAL, THOROUGH manipulations, that would be given through the neuropathic or the GENTLE OSTEOPATHIC method. These would not make specific corrections and adjustments so much as they would make for a general relaxation of the body throughout. They would make SPECIFIC relaxations of the lumbar, the coccyx area, 9th dorsal center, the brachial center, and the hypogastric and pneumogastric center in the cervicals.

27. After these have been carried out to this portion, then we would give further instructions.

28. Ready for questions.

29. (Q) Should the Wet Cell Appliance treatments be continued after the osteopathic manipulations are begun? (A) As indicated, these would be continued throughout.

30. (Q) What causes pain in right groin, and every once in a while a bloody discharge from vagina? (A) The conditions as indicated from the strangulation in the gall duct area, that makes for a pulling upon the caecum and the engorgements in the caecum portion of the colon itself, or of the ascending colon. As indicated, these need to be first removed by the use of the high enema. If it is found to be objectionable, or too severe to empty the whole condition at first, then take the first enema and wait until the next day and take another; then the NEXT day begin the other treatments in the order indicated: However, if possible, it is best to take the entire cleansing at once; that is, to EMPTY the entire area of the colon itself - which may be found by the body's tracing the line of the colon itself, from the caecum center or area in the lower right groin, up and across and down the left side.
