Born April 6, 1871, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Time of Reading 11:35 to 12:20 Noon Eastern Standard Time. ..., Alabama. (Life Reading Suggestion)
1. EC: (In going back over years from present, and in locating place - "Black River Falls - some very exciting experiences here! - '36 - not so well - '35 - '29 - changes - '22 - yes - " etc., on back to birth date.)
2. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1010].
3. In reviewing the records here, we find some of the appearances in the earth so outstanding as to - in a manner - overshadow everything else; as for information or for an informative review.
4. Yet these need reviewing, because of what the entity has done about the inclinations and how the astrological influences have been met, and what the entity may yet do in reference to latent and manifested urges in this experience.
5. But the experiences of the entity as a companion and maid during the flight of the holy family into Egypt would need an individual interpretation.
6. Then, in interpreting the records, we find that what may be constructive in the present experience is attempted to be given, or chosen and given in such a manner that it may be applicable in the daily experience of the entity in the present.
7. For knowledge, or even awareness, without an activity respecting same for creative constructiveness may become stumbling-stones in the experience of an entity.
8. We find that the astrological aspects come in the mental emotions, or they arise as intuitive urges in the experience of an entity; rather than the entity being forced to do or be such and such because this or that planet or star or constellation was in such a position at the time of birth.
9. Also we find that the sojourns in the earth give inclination to the physical emotions, or they are expressed in the sensory forces of the entity in the present.
10. None of such urges, to be sure, surpass the will; but
1010-12 Page 2
they are expressed in the manner as given by the sages of old, "Today there is before thee life and death, good and evil - choose thou!"
11. Then, in every experience, in the activity of every individual (and it is particularly applicable in the experience of this entity, [1010]), the expression or manifestation or result in the life of the individual depends upon the choice between those two factors.
12. The astrological influences then we find coming under Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn; these making for very definite intuitive urges to the entity through the emotions mentally.
13. From the Mercurian environ, or Aries, we find one rather inclined oft to be considered by others as being headstrong, and very hard to convince against the judgements that have been the determining factors in the entity's experience - but once convinced it becomes very determined in that direction.
14. Yet the entity, when passing through the periods of being convinced, has experienced those periods when it has listened to others sometimes to her own undoing - in the mental factors of these urges. Or, in a practical manner, such experiences have been very costly to the entity from the economic standpoint. And eventually the entity has arrived at its own conclusions by the listening to the still small voice within; and such have brought much greater satisfaction in the material experiences of the entity.
15. In the Venus influences we find the friendliness, the ability to attract others to self, the ability to make friends easily and to hold those who are necessary to the entity not only in the way of friends but in mental or material ways. Yet the very same influence often allows the entity to become (according to those who are so material-minded) one subject to being preyed upon by others because of the goodness or the kind feelings of the entity.
16. Thus disappointments have often arisen in the entity's experience with friends whom the entity has befriended, and because of promises made and left undone.
17. Yet as there have been the experiences of turning within, we find that again no inharmonious reactions have been in the entity's experience.
18. In Jupiter we find the inclinations that arise for the entity's interest in the mysterious or the occult. Do not understand this as an implication that Jupiter is the occult planet, but rather that the entity's interest is aroused by those who are influenced by Jupiter AND by Uranus or Neptune. Thus the entity has been drawn INTO the study of
1010-12 Page 3
such, rather than SEEKING the study of such in its own experience.
19. Yet in same we find that some of the most satisfactory activities have come in the material, mental and spiritual aspect.
20. However, the greater influence - as will be seen from the material sojourns - has been brought when the entity has turned within for the answer to the greater problems arising in its experience.
21. The Jupiterian sojourn makes for those inclinations for the entity's activity to deal with the masses, THROUGH individual activity.
22. Hence as a healer, in the applying of those tenets or truths that become a part of the entity's experience - if they are held to the Law of One as manifested in the man Jesus, as signified in the Christ-Consciousness. (Please gain the difference of these!)
23. In the application, then, these will become more and more a part of the entity's experience in the present.
24. From Saturn's influences we find the changes that have arisen, when there have been periods of great exaltation, periods of depression, periods when the physical as well as the mental and material were under a stress and strain of adverse forces - being the natural consequence of the influence of Saturn's activity in the experience of an individual in the material plane.
25. These all then, as will be seen, make for the ASSOCIATED urges that arise from the sojourns of the entity in the material plane, wherein the greater forces are manifested through the emotions or the sensory forces; seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting and the like. These become then as a part of the entity's experience.
26. As to the appearances in the earth, then, that produce these; we find:
27. Before this the entity was in the land adjacent to the land of the present nativity, during the early settlings in what is now Illinois, Wisconsin and a portion of Minnesota - or those activities about the Great Lakes.
28. The entity then was of French AND English descent, and among those born in the new land but so close to the functionings of the natives that much of the activities of the Americans were a part of the entity's disturbing influence during the experience.
29. For the forces were joined rather with those AGAINST what were known as the colonists, or the just forming of United States.
30. Hence often innately at varied experiences questionings
1010-12 Page 4
are held by the entity, and sometimes manifestedly, as to those in authority; whether it be of city, state or nation. Yet these have been altered very much by the will and the association and the activities of the entity during this present sojourn.
31. Not that the entity is disloyal to its convictions, but as indicated we find that oftentimes the entity listens to those who would preach or give things that would be adverse to those in authority.
32. Hence the entity should never join with ANY of those influences as of labor unions, or ANY factors that may become a question as to peoples in authority.
33. Also we find this is inclined at times to make for periods when there are questionings as to the purpose of the entity's association or affiliation in its various activities, or various organizations as such.
34. Before that we find the earthly sojourn of the great influence, that should or may become one - if given individually as a period - that would lay the foundation for giving a great deal of historic data. Not that it would be MATERIALLY helpful, but it would add to the information for the satisfying of individuals seeking an understanding as to those mysterious surroundings.
35. For the entity's sojourn was during the period when the Master was born in the earth, in Bethlehem of Judea, of the city of Nazareth; and when there had been those proclamations made by Herod for the destruction of the young; when Joseph had been warned to flee into Egypt, that the prophecy might be fulfilled, "Lo, my son has been called from Egypt," or "Lo, the Messiah has been called from Egypt," as given by Jeremiah as well as Isaiah.
36. The entity then chose to join with the holy family, and acted in the capacity of the handmaid to the mother, the child, and waited on Joseph during those sojourns; dwelling by the brooks or the portions where there were wells, in the upper portion of the Egyptian land to which they fled.
37. During those periods of the journey the entity ministered; and it was no mean distance for a very young child, and a very young mother - during such delicate conditions.
38. And the very ministering of the entity throughout that sojourn, first to the mother and to the child, and later to the aging Joseph, has caused those abilities which the entity finds in the present experience to minister to the needs of those ill in body, in mind. And such application are those that may be made by the hand, and nursing and care, and the consideration of the body as subsisting upon
1010-12 Page 5
NATURAL or Nature's activities in the material world.
39. In that experience the entity was known as Sophie, or Josie, and very close to the activities of the Innkeeper who made the preparations - owing to the close associations of the family to which the entity then joined, from the activities of the Essenes and the holy ones, for the protection of the individual activity.
40. Through the experience the entity gained. And with the return to Capernaum, and when the other children of the mother came, the entity still ministered.
41. And with the activities of the growing child Jesus, His teachings and His ministerings became all a portion of the entity's experience; yet so disturbed by the close activity of others AND the manner in which the members of the family deserted the teachings owing to the needs of prominence from the economic standpoint during that experience.
42. In the application of self in the present respecting same, study those portions that have been written, again and again; and there will gradually come into the consciousness an awareness of the entity in the present that in Him is indeed the light that lightens the world, and that only in just living His way may we indeed be like Him. Only may the awareness come in being that character of individual, with that purpose, that attitude which He manifested ever. Though He came to His own and His own received Him not, never - NEVER - did He rail at them! Never did He manifest any other than just gentleness, kindness, brotherly love, patience, with those who were the most unkind.
43. The entity's activities then were even in the preservation or the keeping of the family intact, with the death of Joseph. For this the entity saw; closed the eyes and laid him to rest.
44. Hence, as the entity reads of those activities there will come more and more an awakening. Read especially the first chapter of John, the first and second and third John. For the second epistle of John (as a letter) was directed to this entity, Josie, by John the beloved!
45. Read then the fourteenth, fifteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth of John. And reading it, not as rote, ye will find that even He is speaking, even as to thee!
46. Look not for those disincarnate influences; for rather know that the promise, "As ye abide in me and love me and keep my commandments," is to THEE; from the Maker, the Giver of all good and perfect gifts - even Jesus who became the Christ by being able to not condemn, but gave Himself a ransom for THEE and thy friends; for thy world in which ye labor!
1010-12 Page 6
47. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, when there were the distributings of the fruit of the land, through the activities of the Priest, the King and the peoples who came into Egypt from the Atlantean land.
48. The entity then was among those who were set in authority for that distribution to those who were physically disabled, or mentally inefficient.
49. Hence gradually the entity was gradually drawn into cooperating and working with those who were set as the heads of the healing activities, or with those whom ye would in the present term physicians, healers or doctors.
50. Thus there are the natural tendencies in the present for the entity to be interested in diet, in healing and in such activities; yet ever questioning.
51. But hold fast to that purpose for ministering to those who may need physical sustenance, and with each application for the physical sow the seeds of hope in the spiritual activity.
52. The name then was Ounde.
53. The present application from those experiences we find in the unusual things, the peculiar adornments, gay colors oft as a part of the dress. Those tendencies to be extreme arise from the activities then.
54. These, to be sure, are not all the appearances in the earth; they are the ones that are urging in the present. Heed them.
55. As to the abilities, then:
56. Study to show thyself approved unto the Father-God, a workman not ashamed; not ashamed to call on Him. For He is not afar from thee, but will answer.
57. Even as ye ministered to the physical needs of the holy ones, so may the great blessings of a loving Merciful Father be expressed through thee; for He CAN be, IS, touched by the prayer, the supplication - if ye are SINCERE in same!
58. Remember, ever, that God looketh on the heart and not as man upon the gratifying of the material desires alone.
59. Hence ye may be drawn closer and closer in thy walks with Him until ye know indeed that thy Lord liveth; and will indeed walk with thee if ye will call upon Him.
60. Ready for questions.
61. (Q) Do I contact the Great Healer in my work? (A) Consider that given.
62. (Q) Will I succeed in my work at Dr. Baugh's Hospital? [See 1010-12, Par. R1.] (A) If there is the application in the manner indicated, that there is the hope for the spiritual, the aid of such shown in every application, then ye will succeed beyond thy

own dreams!
63. (Q) Where is the best place for me to live for me to do the most good in my work as neuropath and healer with my hands? (A) Where thou art! Wherever thou art, let thy hands find to do that which will bring hope to others!
