1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them.

2. EC: (In going back over the years from the present - " - '41 - yes - '18 - '17 - '16 - what changes! - '15 - '14 - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1013].

4. In choosing that to be given from the records here, these are chosen with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful experience for the entity.

5. In the interpretation and the application of the expressions as may be given of this entity's application of self, the mental and spiritual attitudes become necessary.

6. There ARE the abilities latent and manifested in the experience of the entity. While the application in this experience of that as conceived and as aware of by the entity has not always been beautiful, from the material angle, much that has been by others called sordid has not been amiss in His sight. Man looks on the outward appearance, God looks on the heart. While choices for self and even for those dependent upon the entity have not always been well, the hopes, the desires have not been amiss; though oft badly applied.

7. Then, in the application of self - turn closer within - to those that have been the hopes, the fears; knowing there is strength, there is hope in Him. Though all else may fail

thee, He will abide - if ye will seek to do His biddings. But God will not be mocked - whatsoever a soul soweth, that must it also reap. It is true that this applies to others as to self, but the condemning of others only prevents thine own self rising above that which is of the earth earthy.

8. Think on Him, who is the way, and ye find the condemnation was removed only through that assurance in self "I have fulfilled that Thou gavest me to do."

9. The opportunities, then, are still before thee. Make thy paths straight and walk in the way that is in the light, and that which has been or may be darkness will be driven away - even as the mist before the sun.

10. In giving the interpretations of the records here, - there is a minimizing of the faults and a magnifying of the virtues, even as He would magnify thy love, thy activity, thy hopes in this material life in the dealings with the material, the mental, yea the spiritual problems which arise in thy experience.

11. From the astrological aspects there are urges, latent - and many manifest.

12. As we find in Venus - the over-expression at times in materiality of those things that may be beautiful yet may become sordid and sour from the manner of application.

13. We find those abilities in Jupiter as the attractive ability to influence, control and regulate activities in others. These are virtues as well as vices, depending upon the manner in which applications are made in the dealings with and in the relationships one to another. For as ye do it unto the least of thy acquaintances, unto thy brethren, ye do unto thy Maker. And remember, He is not mocked.

14. In Mercury we find the high mental ability, yea, coming at times to those points where executive abilities are manifested - unless they become sordid in Saturn, where the changes have often taken place in the environs, in the relationships, in the purposes and in the omens of the daily relationships. Yet, as indicated in the purposes of that environ in the experience of a soul-entity, they may be burned up in forgiveness, they may be burned up in forgetfulness. For, there the changes are so oft wrought and a new opportunity oft presents itself.

15. Thou knowest to do good, and to do it not becomes sin. Let that which has been the basis of what has been the saving grace oft in thy relationships to those periods of thine own physical-mental development in this material plane shine again in thy purposes and hopes, as He hath given thee the way.

16. As to the appearances in the earth - these we find have

1013-5 Page 3

been quite varied, and oft giving expression in the relationships borne in the earth through the emotional natures of the body-force itself.

17. Before this, then, the entity was in the land of the present nativity, but nigh unto the first or early settlings in the land; when there were those trials and those applications which dealt with the preparations for home building in that new land.

18. The entity was among those who came into the land by the making of exchange for the products of the land. In the name Catherine Chatham did the entity make those attempts in the home building, and because of the recklessness in the relationships to those of the planters brought confusion to self and to others in those acts of overindulgence - that made for periods of anxiety, periods when the purposes were regulated to the more sordid natures, to those that would govern by rule rather than by mercy or judgment.

19. These have brought into the present experience of the entity those periods when the entity has oft been misjudged by those indiscretions or activities that brought about the influences that became to others as questionings, and yet in self a way - and oft what a way!

20. Before that the entity was in the English land, during those periods of the early Crusade activities.

21. The entity was among those who were misinterpreted as to their purposes or activities in the conduct and the application of self in maintaining the home through those periods of neglect for that called an ideal - which turned to ideas alone.

22. These brought again the periods of anxiety. In the latter portion of the experience, though, the entity gained, for there were the restitutions made in the abilities to apply self in being the friend to the friendless, being of a mercy giving nature to those that sought material, mental and spiritual succor and aid through those periods of reconstruction after same.

23. The name then was Margo O'Dellion.

24. Before that the entity was in the Grecian land, during those periods when there were those groups gathering for the going into the Persian or Arabian land, to the "city in the hills and the plains."

25. The entity was among those of that group, but remained only a short while in the first sojourn there - becoming enamored of those that were the instigators or leaders of the groups.

26. Later returning, during those periods when there were turmoils from the attempts of other lands to invade the

1013-5 Page 4

"city in the hills and the plains," there the entity gained.

27. Coming in the latter portion of its experience under the influence of those who held to the teacher or the teachings of the leader in the "city in the plains," the entity became a nurse; and aided in bringing comfort as well as purpose and good cheer to those physically and mentally disturbed.

28. In the present the greater experience of the entity may be gained through its application of self in such a role, - not as a role only, but as in purpose, as in desire, as in hope to aid and bring comfort to those physically disabled, physically ill. These may be the channels in the present in which greatest activity may be had. For - as, then, the awakening came - it is not too late.

29. The name then was Eiclen.

30. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods of reconstruction; being among the offspring of those that had been purified in the Temple of Sacrifice.

31. Thus, as may be said, the entity was as an example that was set up for those purposes of experimentation, and yet proved itself worthy. And the entity was of those groups that were both of the Atlantean and the Egyptian land.

32. Hence there is that latent ability for making that which is very crooked appear straight, that which is very straight to be evilspoken of - even in self.

33. The name then was El-Clen.

34. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then:

35. First, analyze self and self's purposes. Know thy ideal. For, as has been indicated, abilities ARE latent and manifested. Find them in thyself. Awake to the opportunities, to the better self; and arouse thyself to the thought of others and not of self alone.

36. Bring fruits worthy of acceptation to Him, who is the Giver of all good and perfect gifts. For, as He hath promised, "Though ye may be afar, if ye will call I will hear - and answer speedily. TRY me, and see - I may pour out a blessing upon thee, which others may never understand."

37. Know thy ideal, then live up to that; not condemning others. This ye too oft do. Blame not others for thine OWN bad choosing, but choose rather the spiritual way.

38. In the abilities as an associate in any meeting of the public, and particularly in the office as a nurse or as an aide to one, may the greater contributions in the present come to thy mind, thy body and thy fellowman - in His name.

39. Ready for questions.

40. (Q) Should I stay now in ... Canal Zone, or would it be better for all concerned for me to return to ..., Va.?

1013-5 Page 5

(A) As we find, would be better to remain - if there will be the choosing of service and activity in those relationships or activities indicated.

41. (Q) If I should stay in the Canal Zone, in what department of defense work should I volunteer, if any? (A) As indicated.

42. (Q) Would it be of help to my husband, [...], for me to remain in the Canal Zone? [GD's note: Her [2nd husband] husband, a pharmacist's mate, had gone [been sent] to sea and she was left stranded. Her first husband left her in Nov. '31 with three daughters to raise. She had married the second husband in the summer of 1940, after her youngest daughter, [2184], was also married and a mother.] (A) Be of help not only to him but to many others.

43. (Q) How long would it be necessary for me to remain here? (A) As long as there can be help to others; not for self but for others.

44. (Q) How can I help my daughter [2184]? (A) By the living correctly, advising correctly, in spirit, in truth.

45. (Q) What is my seal? (A) This had best be given separately.

46. (Q) Please give me some spiritual advice that will help me to understand life better and my work in it. (A) Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed; rightly dividing the words of truth, keeping self from condemnation of others or of thine own activities. Wait on the Lord.
