1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1021].
2. Now, as we find, there are very good conditions in many respects; yet there are those tendencies and inclinations as produced by disturbances in the physical functioning that corrected, or making for changes for constructive activity rather than for that which becomes a waste upon the general vitality, we may bring not only a preserving of the activities but make for the greater opportunities for the mental and physical manifestations of this body or entity.
3. These conditions, as we find, have to do with disturbances to the eliminations in the system, as related to the balance kept between the elements or influences that make for activity in functioning organs; in those that make for the replenishing to activities in the general plasm of a constructive force in the anatomical activities of the body.
4. Then, these are conditions as we find them with this body, [1021] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY we find the indications of toxic forces that are as drosses or hindrances, by the non-activity of the organs of the hepatic circulation. Then at periods these make for congestions through the activity of the assimilating forces. Hence we find the metabolism of the system is disturbed at times, making for an incoordinant activity between the deeper circulation and the superficial activity; so that at periods the body becomes, as it were, irritated in the superficial circulation in portions of the body. These are only the reflex action, or the attempt of the body to produce elimination from the system of the non-active forces left in the general circulation. This has not hindered and does not hinder, as we find, the influences in the blood supply itself, but more as to the plasm that is carried with the circulatory forces. Hence these conditions
1021-1 Page 2
are caused in the kidneys at times; the destructive forces to their normal functioning with the eliminating forces and the necessary elements as supplied from their activity in the glands about same to other portions of the body. This, of course, is just a portion of the disturbing in the hepatics, or the circulatory forces between the liver and the kidneys. These are affected there by that activity of unbalanced forces in the elements of the blood CREATIVE forces, or the lacteal ducts as related to assimilated elements for the system.
6. In the NERVE FORCES of the body, here we find contributory conditions and effects upon the system from the irritations produced in the body. Hence we have periods when there is the lack of the normal reaction in the nerve forces and others when the body, through the nerve forces, is able to CONTROL the influences and forces of the body itself - through the activities of the mental abilities and capacities of the body upon its own physical organisms.
7. For MIND, as a whole, may control much of the influences to an organism by those directing influences both from within and from without upon their activity. But with those incoordinations between the deeper circulation and the superficial, we find at times these become irritations to the body; the inability for the body to recall that as is desired at times; the inability for the perfectly normal rest; the inclinations to become restless as to time, place, conditions, circumstances and activities within those things that are uppermost in the mental influences of the body become irritating. This is a reaction from that effluvium, or those activities in the blood supply upon the general nervous system - or to the vegetative system, or the sympathetic system, as it may be called.
8. These we find recur from, or become such periods usually from a little dull headache; a heaviness that may be felt through the body, even from the lower extremities to the upper portions of the body.
9. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves:
10. The nerve forces as related to their action from brain as a center are very good.
11. Organs of the sensory forces, through the irritation that comes to the sympathetic nerve forces of the body through a disturbed circulation, at times react to causing the consciousness of their activity; as in the voice, the speech, the hearing, the eyesight, the feeling, taste - or the sensory forces become as CONSCIOUSNESSES to the body. These are the indications that ARE disturbing factors that may, unless corrections are made for keeping a normal
1021-1 Page 3
balance within the body, become detrimental influences to those portions of the system itself.
12. In the vocal cords, the bronchi and lungs and larynx, these are very good save at periods when there is the congestion - which the body is heir to, through the very act or fact of the acidity that arises from this inadaptability of elements in the system for this assimilation. Then these become as irritations, and this again is another influence wherein there may be the removal of the causes of these; not by merely making for alkalinity but by REMOVING the causes that produce the effect of acidity for the digestive forces and the active forces through the organs and forces of the body.
13. Hence we have periods when the lymph circulation through the throat and bronchi becomes affected by those conditions in the general system.
14. Heart's activity, as indicated; it is organically very good, though functionally at times it becomes aware of its activity through disturbing influences of forces in the bodily functionings.
15. Digestive forces - here we find disorders that naturally would arise from a disturbance in the circulation, and especially as related to the activities of the hepatics.
16. For the liver, that is the larger organ in the system that is excretory and secretive in its activity, becomes torpid - or the activities through the excretory functions become disturbed through the acidity and the engorging of the ducts about the gall duct area, and in the sympathetic reaction from those influences in the lacteal ducts that are secreting from the activity of the pancreas and spleen. These, with the acidity in the system, become disturbed; though with a normal flow of activity they become normal again and the body feels the pep or vim and vitality of the resuscitating forces as come about. At other periods they are under depression; not an organic but a functional disorder.
17. Through the hepatic circulation to the kidneys, as related to the activity of the liver - one being a negative and the other as a positive pole - we make for a cold circulation. So, heaviness in the right portion to the caecum and to the ileum plexus at times becomes as a reactory force to those disturbances through the system.
18. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions that may supply the influences and forces for this body, as we find:
19. First we would begin with the low electrical forces that may be had for the stimulating of those activities in the system, that may be had from the low reverse coil that makes
1021-1 Page 4
for a stimulation to the activities of the ducts and glands and influences about the kidneys and the hepatic circulation.
20. Or, in making the attachments of the anodes, we would make one upon the lower portion of the 9th dorsal - or at the 9th and 10th dorsal, and the other over the area of the lacteal duct.
21. Such treatment would be given following the general work out, as it were, by the baths and sweats. Not to such an extent as to reduce the activity, but to make for a coordination between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal nerve reaction, as well as to coordinate the eliminating forces of the body itself. Take such "work out" treatments just before the electrical forces are given, with a general massage; not as correcting vertebrae so much nor of stimulating the activity through the ganglia along the cerebrospinal system, but as a muscular AND ganglia stimuli over the portions of the body itself.
22. Give these (the work outs, followed by the electrical treatments) about twice a week for three to four weeks, and then a rest period from same for one or two weeks; and then begin again.
23. These, as we find, would make for and bring for this body, [1021], a much nearer normal condition; and, as indicated, give to the mental and the spiritual body the greater opportunity for manifestations in the material associations and activities.
24. Ready for questions.
25. (Q) Just what electrical appliance is meant by the reverse coil? (A) That as may be had from a combination of the sinusoidal and the deeper therapy.
26. (Q) Are the glands in the body alright? (A) As indicated, there are periods when the glands about the adrenals, about the secretions in the hepatics, become affected by disturbing forces. It is as a warning. They may not be said to be diseased, but disturbed.
27. (Q) What causes the gas in the stomach? (A) The creating at times of the influences that make for acidity. With this stimulation, you see, especially to the glands of the lower hepatics, the upper hepatics, not only will the peristaltic movement be bettered but the tendencies for acidity to the whole system will be reduced - thus eliminating these conditions. Do these, as we have indicated. Not just for three to four weeks and then leave off! Rest a period and then have them

again; allowing those activities to adjust themselves to the MENTAL abilities and capacities of the body. But in all thine activities let the mental forces be more and more CONSTRUCTIVE in their influence. This means expectancy, as it were, of the abilities and qualities for purifying the mind and the body; not only of self but of the associations. Thus we will bring greater opportunities, greater responsibilities, to the activities of this body.
