Time of Reading 11:30 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1030], present in this room.
2. Now, as we find, there are conditions the correction of which in the physical forces of this body would make for a much better reaction; making for normalcies that would give a much better physical body for the mental and spiritual activities of the body.
3. These have to do, we find, with two specific conditions and reactions that exist:
4. First in the manner in which the coordination is disturbed between the eliminating systems.
5. Next, the CAUSES - or the manner in which that assimilated reacts upon the system.
6. Thus we have effects that are at times taken as causes, rather than that which really exists; in that these conditions are effects and NOT causes.
7. And with the correction of the causes we would find a much better physical condition.
8. These, then, are the conditions as we find them in this body, [1030], we are speaking of, present in this room:
9. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, there are indications of impoverishments, showing a form of influence that produces a lack of there being rebuilded in the system the strength and vitality necessary at all times to keep an equal balance.
10. This arises from the causes that have been indicated and may be shown more specifically in conditions that exist in the nervous system and in the functioning of organs themselves.
11. IN THE NERVE FORCES OF THE BODY, we find these responding in manners which at times cause, or appear to be the cause of, much of the distress owing to the pressures that exist.
12. And the deflections as produced by this unbalanced condition of those activities in the system, as reproduced
1030-1 Page 2
through the activity of organs in assimilation, in the glands in their secretion, make for those tendencies for the accumulations to form. These are in the form, as we find, of lymph pockets or pressures, and NOT such as to even become in the form of other detrimental influences - UNLESS the causes are not removed, or unless in the measures used there become infectious forces from outside influences. For these, as we find, may be so acted upon by the changes in the activities of the impulses from the nerve forces of the body, through the various ganglia that govern not only the nerve supply to the portions of the body thus disturbed but through the torso portions and the stomach itself and the circulatory forces through a portion of the lower lung and bronchi.
13. All of these show distresses, but with the nerve energies making the proper coordinations between the cerebrospinal centers - which act as the greater impulse - and coordinating same with the centers through which the sympathetic or vegetative impulses are active to the system, these would bring such drainages as to first produce a proper elimination; coordinating the organs so that the eliminating activities become active through their specific areas and NOT building one upon the other for a deflection, which produces the distress indicated through the body.
14. IN THOSE ACTIONS OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, we find: Brain forces are very good in their reflexes.
15. The bronchi, throat, lungs and larynx show deflections; as we have indicated that exist through the unbalancing of the system in the ways and manners given. And these at times make for a contributory cause to the impoverishment of the blood supply, through the lack of the proper oxidization or sufficient carbon. Thus there is produced the natural reaction of the less amount of the necessary forces as would be had through the calciums in the body.
16. Hence even the structural portions, through which the blood supply comes, become tender, sore, through portions of the body; through this very deflection of the circulation itself.
17. In the heart's action and those activities to the circulation: These make for or show only reflex conditions, and NOT organic disturbances nor the muscular forces nor the arterial activity in same.
18. There IS the unbalanced condition between the activities of the liver AND the heart's activities; so that a fullness occurs at times at the pit of the stomach, and a heaviness in portions of the body in the right side and again in the left side. These are rather the effects of this
1030-1 Page 3
incoordination between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal systems attempting to be adjusted.
19. In the digestive system: Here, naturally, through the nervous reflexes and the assimilating forces being unbalanced, we have the effects at times of disorders. However, the greater portion of same is shown through the activities in the alimentary canal and the effect of same upon the lower portion of the hepatic circulation.
20. HENCE, AS WE FIND, IN MAKING FOR THAT WHICH WOULD CREATE TOWARDS A NORMAL BALANCE IN THE BODY, TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THESE CONDITIONS:
21. First we would begin with a general massage, rather than corrections, over the whole of the system; SPECIFICALLY in those areas along the cerebrospinal system, FOLLOWING some heat (not too great a heat) from a sweat and a rubdown.
22. The general massage, following the sweat and shower and rubdown, would be with oils; preferably for THIS body combined in this way and manner:
23. To 4 ounces of the Russian White Oil as the base, add - IN THE ORDER named: Olive Oil.....................1 ounce, Oil of Wintergreen............1 ounce, Compound Tincture Benzoin...1/2 ounce, Oil of Rosewater..............1 ounce. These ingredients will tend to separate, but shake together before they are massaged over the body. Then have a rubdown with GRAIN alcohol (not rub alcohol, but GRAIN alcohol). Especially this would be along the cerebrospinal system and over the abdomen, and especially across the diaphragm area.
24. Such a treatment would be given about four times each week for three weeks. Then rest from same a week and a half to two weeks; then begin again.
25. As given, not too great a sweat; just sufficient to heat the body so that the superficial activity is created. Not sweats that become too heavy for the body, or for the nerve forces, but so that the body becomes thoroughly moist. Then have the shower or spray, and then the rubdown with the oils as indicated, and lastly the grain alcohol rub. Four times a week.
26. Also about TWICE each week, as the body is resting from the above described treatment, for periods of two to three weeks at the time, we would have the diathermy treatments, that is, the electrical forces to make for the stimulation to the body itself in the areas as indicated by the massages, etc.
1030-1 Page 4
27. So, every other period when the rubdown and massage treatment is given, we would use the diathermy as a stimulation to the whole of the system to eliminate those tendencies for the system to become stagnant in the accumulations that have been indicated as occurring between the eliminating systems in their coordination.
28. And we should find, by the second or third period or round of these treatments, these conditions will be almost entirely eliminated.
29. In the matter of the diet, it becomes rather necessary that the foods be such as to make for the body-building and the creating of those influences necessary for that as may be assimilated properly in or for the system.
30. Mornings - we find that citrus fruit juices, raw fruits, or whole wheat, should form the principal part; though these should be altered and not taken at the same meal - that is, do not take the citrus fruits AND cereals together, you see, or at the same meal. These food values we need in order to keep a normal balance in the acids and the alkalines for the body.
31. Noons - a portion of the noon meals should preferably consist of raw vegetables; not always, but a portion of same at times. Or shell fish, fish, things that partake of the iodines that are supplied through such; or the phosphorous that comes from such would be most helpful to create a balance in the system (especially if the diathermy and the treatments as indicated are kept).
32. Evenings - preferably the well-cooked vegetables, and not any RED meats nor any fried foods. And the vegetables should consist of three to four above the ground to one below; that is, in that proportion. Lamb, fowl, wild game - these are preferable for the meats.
33. About twice each week - Tuesdays, Thursdays - take half a teaspoonful of the product that will produce more of the glutens in the system; carrying the enzymes that are found in the properties that carry iron with same. That is, we refer to the Ventriculin - WITH iron.
34. Do these, and we will bring the better and the greater conditions for this body.
35. Ready for questions.
36. (Q) What should be the treatment for the arm? (A) This condition, as indicated, arises from the lack of the locomotory impulses in those portions of the body indicated. Then, with the application of those rubs, the massage, and the electrical forces to the brachial centers that have been hindered through those pressures created, we would bring
1030-1 Page 5
about nearer normal reactions through same.
37. (Q) Where would the attachments be made for the diathermy? (A) The first attachment would be at the brachial center along the spine, and the other over the lacteals in the frontal portion of the body; while at the next treatment the first attachment would be along the upper portion of the hypogastric and pneumogastric center, and the other at the 9th dorsal. One would be one time, you see, and one the next. Do not give these treatments strong in the beginning; rather the low and the infrequent current, see?
38. (Q) Is the condition of the arm nerve or muscle? (A) It is nerve AND muscle, owing to those deflections that have been indicated in the cerebrospinal system, see? Hence these rubs as indicated. Rub TO and FROM the body when making applications to the arms or to the locomotory centers, see? These will bring a near normal reaction to all portions of the body. We MUST build the general health and make the SPECIFIC changes as would be necessary for creating a balance with this body.
39. (Q) Would an operation relieve the paralysis of the arm? (A) Make it permanent, rather - would the operative forces. An operation would be more harmful than helpful. Do these things as indicated, if we would relieve the condition - or the cause. As indicated, the condition in the arm is not other than an EFFECT of conditions; or a material reaction, as outlined.
40. (Q) What is the real cause that produces it? (A) It has been described. Those pressures created by the incoordination between the eliminations, that made for cellular forces to become - as it were - a PRESSURE on specific centers. As we indicated from the first, the conditions in arm are an effect - and not a cause; the cause being through those pressures indicated, that centralize in the brachial center or area such as to produce these activities - or lack of activities. Do these things, and we will find conditions will be removed and normalcy come.
