Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1040], present in this room.

2. Now, as we find, there are conditions the correction of which in the present would prevent many of the disturbances that arise in the physical forces of the body from time to time.

3. These conditions are effects that we find arising from a specific disturbance in the colon, and from the inability of the system to supply - as it were - energies in certain portions of the body for the resuscitation of the vital forces necessary in functioning organs.

4. Then, these are conditions as we find then with this body, [1040] we are speaking of, present in this room:

5. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY:

6. Here we find, through the variation as indicated in the circulation in portions of the system, there are hindrances that arise from the lack of revitalization. Hence we will find, through these disturbances, that at times there are the tendencies in the circulation for the accumulations to become localized in portions of the body. Thus we have the effect of pressure from plethora accumulations of lymph in portions of the body.

7. With these pressures we find the superficial disturbance becomes such that portions of the body may be found to be cold; other portions may have an irritation to the capillary circulation - and cause an abrasion or a tendency for rough portions in portions of the cuticle itself. These are but effects, then, produced by disturbances that arise from the specific conditions as indicated.

8. We find the elements of the blood supply lacking at times in the proper balance for the warrior influences or forces, or the leucocyte cellular force. While in the immediate

1040-1 Page 2

these are near normal, periods arise when they are deficient - by taxation to the body. And at such periods the effect is that the body feels easily fagged out, whether from mental or physical activity. These are calling, then, as it were, upon the energies and forces of the body itself to supply that necessary for the carrying on of the activities necessary to the bodily forces.

9. Hence the body under such conditions by its sheer will force carries on.

10. IN THE NERVE FORCES OF THE BODY, naturally, with those conditions in the digestive system or in the colon area - where there are indicated the effects of congestion in the mucous membranes' activity with the movement through the system here, or as a form of colitis or congestion - there is produced to the nervous system the periods when everything appears to be rather at jagged edges, as it were, or to irritate the body. These require again the nerve energies to hold self, as it were, in check.

11. This produces then the inability to rest as much as necessary, or to obtain rest when easing the body from other activities.

12. These are also the effects, as indicated; and the causes arise from those conditions through portions of the body as indicated.

13. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES: Brain forces are active, with all interests that make for reaction to stimulations to the body from mental forces, as well as physical activity.

14. As much outdoor exercise, then, as possible is PREFERABLE for the body in making for its association with ELEMENTAL forces that assist the body-physical in all activities.

15. In the throat, the bronchi, the lungs, the larynx: There has been and is a slowing of the circulation. We find the lymph circulation through those portions of the throat and head and nasal passages has the effect of too great a quantity of the acids that make for irritation to the mucous membranes at periods; or the body is susceptible to colds or drafts, or any indiscretion either in the eating or activities that would tend to make for cold or congestion to these portions of the body.

16. This is a sympathetic condition, though if allowed to remain (which is a portion of the whole effect) will make for more and more tendencies to produce disturbing factors in the system.

17. To relieve or to make application ONLY for relief of conditions such as these in the system (which has been done

1040-1 Page 3

at times) is to only make for TEMPORARY reliefs; for while these effects may be eliminated so that these portions will react nearer normally and the distresses be removed there, the CAUSES not being removed - the depletion in those activities through the nerve forces and the circulation - only make for disturbing factors in other directions.

18. The heart's activity is very good, when considered with a disturbance of this nature - or the attending activity of the circulation being cut off, as it were, in one portion and making for periods when there may be the feeling in the arm and upper portion of the body of lack of flow, or in the lower extremities or limbs making for the same feeling as if these were cut off - or as deadened to activity, when NOT by pressure but by the ATTEMPT of the system to adjust itself to conditions that are effective in the body throughout.

19. In the digestive area: Here, of course, from the conditions in the colon, as well as from the general nerve forces, we have some disturbances as periodic repressions in the system. However, the organs of digestion - as the liver, the spleen, the pancreas, the activity of the gall duct itself - as related to assimilated forces - only react reflectively in the nerve forces, as to those depletions for the activity, or the lack of generation of energies for their functionings. For these become slow and sluggish only through periods when the circulatory forces are at a low ebb.

20. In the colon area, as indicated, here we have had the tenden- cies for portions where the organ itself is attended with the activities of the circulation along the sides or areas from which the movements of same receive the impulses to the nerve forces for eliminations through these channels. These have had those activities, as we find, apparently from what may be termed intestinal flu; that affected directly these portions of the lymph and emunctory circulation through same.

21. Hence we have congestions that arise, or a weakness - an indication of a weakness that makes for slowing activity and those recurrent conditions that arise through the digestive forces of the body itself.

22. IN MEETING, THEN, THE NEEDS AND NECESSITIES FOR BRINGING ABOUT NORMALCY, we find:

23. These may be altered dependent upon CHANGES that will come about by the use by the body of those factors that will act directly upon the weakened forces, and stimulate these to activity that allows the body ITSELF to ADJUST ITSELF to the variations.

24. For the physical organism is constructed in such a way

1040-1 Page 4

and manner that if the balance is kept in the diet, in the normal activity, the mental forces replenished through an activity sufficient to keep the body in its normal balance, the body should readjust itself, refacilitate itself; making for not only resuscitation and revivifying of the necessary influences but carrying on and reproducing itself in EVERY influence necessary for keeping a balance.

25. When an unbalancing occurs, those influences that will add to the body-structural forces so as to normalize these - whether applications be made in this or that manner - must awaken within the vital forces of the body those energies necessary for the reproduction of itself within the body-physical as RELATED to the mental and - of course - the spiritual aspects of the body.

26. In this body, then, we would follow these:

27. First we would prepare a compound to be taken once a day, unless there arise other disturbances that would make for greater disorders. These properties will make for more pep, vim, vitality to the whole of the digestive system as related to the eliminations and the coordinating of same; removing those tendencies for the separations in the various portions of the body, to segregate the various activities. The compound would be prepared in this manner:

28. To 2 ounces of Distilled Water add 2 ounces of Strained Honey. Allow to come to a boil. Strain or skim, and then add - in the order named: Essence of Wild Ginseng.......1/2 ounce, Essence of Indian Turnip.......20 minims, Tincture of Stillingia........1/2 ounce, Elixir of Calisaya............1/4 ounce. Cut 1/2 dram Balsam of Tolu in 1 and 1/2 ounces of pure grain alcohol and add to the solution.

29. The dose would be 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoonful once each day, preferably in the morning before the meal is taken; though it may be taken twice a day if necessary.

30. The reaction of these properties upon the system is not in ANY nature such as to become habit-forming, but some of the habits that have been a portion of the system through these influences will be altered. Also we will find the crampings that have occurred at times through the abdominal area, those tendencies through the activities of the organs of the pelvis, those attenuations that occur at times of nausea of mornings, will disappear.

31. ALSO we would use the Radio-Active Appliance once or twice a day, or whenever the body feels a bit tired or

1040-1 Page 5

fagged; either from too great an exertion physically or from WORRY. For this will bring REST to the body by EQUALIZING the circulation.

32. To be sure, the Appliance would be attached to the extremities in the usual manner; right wrist, left ankle; left wrist, right ankle - the small plates on same. Keep same on for thirty minutes to an hour. Or should the body take this when resting during the evening, or afternoon, if it remains an hour it is not too great a strain. Rather will it be found to produce those reactions (for no sensation is felt at the time) which will make for REST and STRENGTH and the vitality necessary to carry on the mental and spiritual and physical activities of the body.

33. During such periods that the Radio-Active forces are taken, PREFERABLY rest and meditate, rather than having too great an amount of conversation. However, if through such a period there is required that there be conversation, it is better that the Appliance be used then than not at all.

34. Keep the anodes or plates clean, and in contact with the areas indicated. These should be where the pulsation is felt; on the wrist inside - as on the ankle inside, just above the ankle bone.

35. In the matter of the diet, beware of mixing quantities of starch and sweets at the same time. Do not become one that is subject to, "Well, I can't eat this," or "I can't eat that!" But control self with those abilities that lie within self as to the WILL influencing. However, remember that the acids are formed in too great quantities through excess quantities of starches (as potatoes or white breads or the like) WITH quantities of sweets. Beware, then, of pastries; though ice creams or ices or things of such natures are NOT to be. Follow rather the foods that make for body, blood and nerve building; but not too much roughage. Of mornings let the meal consist principally of fruits or citrus fruits or the like. These are preferable to even the cereals of any nature for this body.

36. Ready for questions.

37. (Q) What has caused the excess weight, which has come very suddenly? (A) This arises from those excesses of the combinations indicated, and the lack of equalization through the body of the whole circulation; which allows this to build up rather in certain PORTIONS of the body and not be distributed generally.

38. (Q) What causes the excruciating backache which I almost constantly have? (A) As indicated, those conditions in the colon area; or

1040-1 Page 6

the connecting tissue in the colon, and this finds the activity through the lumbar and the sacral plexus reflexes from the nervous forces. With these properties taken as indicated, and with the ability to rest and to make for equalizing the circulation (through the Radio-Active Appliance), this will disappear. To be sure, the massage or the masseuse activity is well; but we would use the rub along the spine with oil two to three to four times a week.

39. (Q) What means should I take to rid myself of this excess weight? (A) Use these properties indicated, and the vibrations from the Appliance - which will EQUALIZE. And it will be found that the tendencies may be towards LACK of even the normal weight; though, as indicated, these applications will care for the condition if they are applied consistently.

40. (Q) The soreness in the entire abdominal cavity and pit of stomach, with the great amount of flatulency (distress whether eating or not)? (A) As indicated, this is an effect from the COLON area - where there has been - or is indicated from here - the effect of intestinal flu.

41. (Q) What causes me to be so tired and sleepy? (A) As indicated. While there may be the inclinations, there is NOT the rest from sleep, nor the recuperative forces when the body does sleep. This is from excess toxic forces through the system, by the lack of the ability of the blood supply to supply - through the elements indicated - the coagulation necessary for the eliminations to be carried through their proper channel. Hence the toxic effect.

42. (Q) Should more than one quantity of the compound be taken, or just how long should the treatment be kept up? (A) Until the body is RELIEVED of these tendencies through the system. This may require not more than one quantity. But if the body, after having carried out all of this, feels at any time a recurrent condition (unless conditions arise that are not apparent in the present), then have it on hand and take when necessary.

43. (Q) Would that be the means of relieving myself of this excess weight? (A) As given, if this is done it will relieve the body of the excess weight - if it is done! For each of the properties indicated has a specific effect upon the activity of the SYSTEM, so as to produce NORMALCY

1040-1 Page 7

in its activity. If there is NORMAL activity of the blood supply, of nerve energy, of eliminations, the weight then becomes NORMAL for the system, see?

44. (Q) I've been given a good deal of gland extract. (A) There have been excesses of same in some portions. Hence these are affecting the body to increase those very conditions that the body is attempting to eliminate now! The condition arises not so much from glands as from the lack of their proper stimulation, you see, IN the NORMAL direction. Hence there have been produced excesses. As given, the condition arises from that in the tissue or the activity of the lymph and emunctory circulation through the connecting forces of the colon and the intestinal tract. These properties as given will create a balance. The vibrations from the low electrical forces of the Radio-Active Appliance will produce normalcy and rest and recuperative forces again in the body FROM the rest. Doing these, we will find near normal conditions for this body.

45. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] to be sent to Druggist, with directions for preparing compound.
