Time of Reading 3:30 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1042].

2. Now, as we find, there are conditions the correction of which would make for a better normal reaction in the system.

3. These, as we find, are specific conditions where lesions cause a reaction that is often misconstrued as being the cause. If these hindrances or impingements that exist in the cerebrospinal system are relieved, and the normal reaction brought for the coordination between the deeper circulation and the superficial, many of those things that disturb through other channels would be eliminated.

4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1042] we are speaking of, present in this room:

5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find the tendencies towards an impoverishment, or - as indicated - a deeper circulation that is slower in returning to the normal activities of the body than should be.

6. Hence we find periods when portions of the body become subject to this slowed condition in the return of the circulation to the organs of cleansing and stimulating same for its activity through the body.

7. Hence there is a form or character of condition that impoverishes the blood.

8. These conditions arise, as we shall see, from disturbance produced by the lack of the proper incentive to ganglia that govern the circulation in these directions.

9. IN THE NERVE FORCES OF THE BODY, as the impingements or subluxations exist in the upper dorsal and in the coccyx area, the nerve forces are then a cause. And the effects that are produced to the nerve reactions arise from those same conditions that are causes; hence the effects become at times considered causes without the real condition being aided by any internal application. Yet palliatives may be brought to the system through such activity.

10. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, in these

1042-1 Page 2

connections we find the organs of the hepatic circulation become involved in the condition.

11. Hence throughout the torso of the body there are those conditions created which become at times, during those periods of reaction, become aggravated; or the specifics become the disturbing conditions. But these arose first, primarily, from those conditions existent in the cardiac center, in the upper dorsal and - as coordinant with same - in the coccyx or in the lower end of the spine.

12. These pressures prevent the normal flow of impulse for activity, and thus through the slowing of the circulation make for toxic forces that produce distresses through those various actions in the system itself.

13. THEN, IN MEETING THE NEEDS, AS FIND FOR THIS BODY: If there would be applied a heat IN the manner as to allow those corrective measures to be made, through response to adjustments to relieve these pressures, it would allow the system to become nearer and nearer to its normal functioning. Thus gradually the distressed areas would be relieved, making for nearer and nearer normalcy for the functioning of the organs - especially of the hepatic circulation as associated with the rest of the body.

14. These, as we find, will require a period of activity, but will reach the seat or the causes. Thus, with the cause of distress eliminated, the body will begin to respond in a normal manner. Thus there will be discarded from the system many of the disturbing factors that become localized otherwise.

15. So, we would make the corrective treatments in those areas indicated, in regular periods; that is, two to three weeks of REGULAR application of the adjustments in these areas indicated, specifically. Then have a rest period from same of a week.

16. And during the rest period week (not while the adjustment treatments are being given), we would use the application each day - during that week - of the low galvanic electrical forces that would carry to the body - and to the functioning of the organs - stimulations from medicinal properties that would become effective more and more, by creating in those centers - that have found and do find distressed conditions in the present - the necessary assimilated forces from that taken from the body-building forces to bring normalcy for the body.

17. Each day during the week of rest period from the other treatments, this appliance would be used for thirty minutes - the Wet Cell Appliance; one day carrying the Atomidine in solution and the next day carrying the 10% solution of

1042-1 Page 3

Nitrate of Silver; with attachments made in this manner: First day:

18. The smaller copper plate would be attached first, to the upper portion of the 4th dorsal center. The larger nickel end of the anode, passing through the Atomidine in solution (full strength), would be attached last, to the umbilicii and lacteal duct center. This is to form those vibrations where the cleansings of the system through the glandular activity will make for the increased flow of circulation being equalized to rebuild or replenish those necessary forces for creating a balance in the system. Each day keep the anodes or plates cleansed when using.

19. The next day: The smaller copper anode would be attached first, at the 4th LUMBAR center, or the axis to the lower portion of the body-circulation. The larger nickel anode, passing through the 10% solution of Nitrate of Silver, would be attached last, to the RIGHT side of the umbilicus center, more over the gall duct area. This makes for the reducing of those tendencies for this disturbance in the circulation as indicated, and its activity in organs, to produce pus forming influences in portions of the body. Thus the activities from the glandular forces, as in the activity of the spleen, the pancreas with its coordination of those forces for the whole of the hepatic circulation, reduce those tendencies in the kidney area for the disturbances that are submerged - yet they find their activities in the system in the various conditions in the body.

20. Alternate the applications each day in this manner for the whole week.

21. Then begin again and have the manipulations and adjustments for another two or three weeks.

22. Then again use the Wet Cell Appliance as indicated.

23. Thus we will bring for this body near to normal conditions.

24. In the diet, beware of sweets and of starches. Not that these are to be tabu entirely. When the sweets are taken, let them be principally from the fruits or vegetables, see? And let the greater quantity of the starch be had rather from influences that are mixed with the elements from nuts of various kinds, and whole wheat, or the glutens that come with such character of activity where they are not only purified but where the natural sources are from which such conditions arise.

25. These, as we find, should and will work - if these are carried in unison - with those applications for correcting these conditions, in this body here, [1042].

26. Ready for questions.

27. (Q) Should the corrections be made osteopathically or chiropractically? (A) As we find, with the application of the heat, these would PREFERABLY be made osteopathically; for there is the necessity not only of making adjustments but of COORDINATING the centers in the cerebrospinal system that coordinate with the activities of the organs as related to the specific corrections necessary.

28. (Q) What form of heat should be used? (A) Preferably wet heat; not dry heat.

29. (Q) After the second course of osteopathic treatments, should the Wet Cell Appliance be continued? (A) It would be continued then intermittently; not necessarily EVERY day, but three to four times a week - if the adjustments are then fully made as to the corrections, osteopathically.

30. (Q) What is the treatment for the sinus? (A) As we will find, if the corrections are made in the dorsal and the coordinating in the lower portion of the spine, with the vibrations or influences carried through the Wet Cell Appliance to CLEANSE the system (that is, the gland system), the sinus conditions - that arises from the slowed circulation - will be MATERIALLY aided. Locally, when this gives distress, better that a Dobell's solution be used; or, as we find, a combination of Salts and Cream of Tartar would be well as a spray, and would cleanse better than the more stringent activities that are at times used for such. But by the time the Wet Cell Appliance treatments are followed, and the corrections are made as indicated osteopathically, there should be little or no return of those conditions that have disturbed the body through the circulation in the head and throat.

31. (Q) What is the constant ringing in my head - started four years ago - I hear perfectly. (A) When the subluxations were produced (something like six or eight years ago), they made for a pressure upon the lower portion of the plexus to which or from which the circulation or impulse was received for activity of circulation to the sensory system. So gradually there was builded that which makes for the feelings not only of the ringing that is heard at times but at others a FULLNESS in the throat. Also the change is apparent in the taste and in the vision at times. Not that these have hindered, but they AFFECT the basis of the activity from the nervous system. Hence these

1042-1 Page 5

osteopathic corrections as indicated that will remove the CAUSES; then such effects will be eliminated from the body.

32. (Q) Why do I awaken so many times in the night, and turn over so often, yet I go right back to sleep? (A) Nervousness, by the lack of the equilibrium in the pressures created in body from the subluxations or tautness in the areas indicated. While these pressures are not indicated to the body from the places themselves (except across the lower portion of the shoulders at times, or the heaviness or lightness as felt at times when the body sits for a long period, or in a strained position), these may be or will be located by the manipulator - and then will be more noticeable to the body.

33. (Q) What is the cause of the sensitiveness and pain in my large toe? (A) The pressure on the lumbar plexus that affects the lower extremities. This, too, will be relieved - as indicated. Many VARIOUS conditions or effects arise from this pressure. Hence the NECESSITY of same being ELIMINATED from the system, with the addition of the properties necessary (carried vibrationally into the system through the Wet Cell Appliance) to keep a BALANCE in the body. And thus we will clear up all of these disturbing effects.

34. (Q) What shall I do for constipation? (A) The very activity of the correction in the dorsal area, where the impulses for the activity of the gastric juices flow to the digestive forces of the body; the relieving of the pressure that makes for a closing of the sphincter muscular forces, or of the lower portion of the colon and throughout the pelvis. These will of themselves relax the body so that these will make for more and more a normal condition in regard to the eliminations.

35. (Q) What shall I do to stimulate my memory? In conversation I often have to grope for the right word. (A) With the unbalanced condition between sympathetic and cerebrospinal nerve forces, or as indicated in the superficial and the deep circulation of the body, there is created a break of impulse between thinking of a thing and carrying it out, see? With the applications as indicated we will find these coordinations will MATERIALLY change, and thus bring a better normal balance.

36. (Q) I awaken in the morning, always rested, happy, and full of "pep." About five o'clock I become tired and pale, and want to go to bed early. How can I have more energy? (A) As indicated, through pressures - there is the natural pressure of the body upon the lower axis in the coccyx end, through the slowed circulation which brings this fatigue,

1042-1 Page 6

see? Hence the correction of those conditions through the manners indicated. Stimulate the activity not by taking things internally, but by vibratory forces that awaken normal functionings of the bodily activities; and these will bring normal conditions for this body.

37. Do these. It will give the better physical force for the activity of the mental and spiritual forces of the body.

38. Do that.
