1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, and those conditions physical as surround same.

2. Now, we find there are disturbing factors in the physical forces of the body, and these corrected in their incipiency may be easily eliminated from the system, while these allowed to become constitutional will continue to cause distress and unfit the body physically AND mentally for its better development.

3. These conditions, as we find, have to do with specific conditions as exist in the physical body, and the results or the effects of these disorders in the system - though there have been times, and it is often considered even in the present, that the effects are treated rather than the cause.

4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1048] we are speaking of, present in this room:

5. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY - this we find shows rather a tendency of anemia; that is, a character of anemia produced - as we shall see - by specific incentives as prevent the normal assimilation in the system, and the attempt of the body to create with that as is furnished same - as might be termed, and under the conditions - to meet those emergencies that arise in creating proper coagulation. Hence the deficiency in the red blood cell, or an anemia, and not at all periods the sufficient amount of urea, or of the white blood plasm; though the leucocyte plasm is at most periods - though this fails at times - near normal; the red blood count at PRESENT being QUITE deficient.

6. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM - here we find also the effects of the disturbance in the system, and a portion of the cause exists from the repressions or the subluxations, or the pressures as exist in the cerebrospinal system. This, as we find, exists (specific) in the cerebrospinal system, the 3rd and 4th dorsal, the 2nd, 3rd lumbar, and reflexes in the 9th and 10th dorsal. From this subluxation we have a form of catarrh that exists in the circulation, or pressure that

1048-2 Page 2

produces same, that at times affects the nasal and soft tissue of the face, as well as in the stomach proper, which makes for that tendency of too small - the organ, as well as not in its proper position; this causing then specific conditions. These specific centers have been in this position for some time back, especially that in 3rd and 4th dorsal area, as well as those in the lumbar area. With this continued pressure, the lack of the circulation to these portions of system gradually brought about these disorders. The disorders becoming specific (though not the cause), as is seen, we have an over-acidity in the duodenum and throughout the jejunum, with the tendency for constipation - especially in the caecum and transverse colon area; this affecting, then, the functioning of the liver AND spleen, produces in the capillary circulation that of the same condition in the skin, as abrasions, that is produced within the stomach itself by the catarrhal congestion. This catarrhal congestion is in this specific case, as yet, not lacerations nor ulcerations, though allowed to remain would first - or over apt to first - become lacerated areas, with the effect of causing the congestion in the area of the gall ducts, as to produce gallstone or gall bladder colic, and this would bring then disorders of a different nature. In the PRESENT these exist in the form of those conditions, as has been termed a BLOOD condition - which is not true blood condition, but an effect of a disorder in the stomach and the intestinal tract, as seen in the soft tissue of the head and neck, and in nasal passages.

7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, the brain forces are very good. There are no ill effects in the activities or reflexes, though the cerebro-SPINAL system is involved. The SYMPATHETIC nervous system is often OVERTAXED, however, and the body - though suffering physically - through sheer nerve energy forces itself, when there ARE disagreeable feelings over the system. When relaxed from same, then the re occurrance of those effects in the skin, in the areas where the showing of the eczema-like, or that form of those conditions as produce whelks, or areas of stinging pain. These are effects, NOT causes.

8. In the nasal cavity, the throat, the bronchi, the lungs - from the conditions as exist in this of the upper cardiac area, the throat and this portion of system often become dry to excess; at other times there's a tendency of phlegm and of little cough - this is SYMPATHETIC, NOT organic.

9. In the digestive system we find the greater effects, indicated by the condition as has been seen as arises from

1048-2 Page 3

disorders in the nerve and muscular forces in the cerebrospinal centers; for the body seldom eats in a NORMAL manner - either the appetite is TOO extreme, or there's not the desire for food - and, as is often felt, the desires for the wrong foods, or often felt an ABNORMAL appetite; not normal - below normal or above normal, and easily do foods disagree. That from the position of the stomach itself; naturally the CARDIAC end being the lower, from the areas disturbed, and not the pyloric end - as is often in fallen or mis-pointed position of the organ itself.

10. In the heart's action, this quick or above normal, though the PRESSURE subnormal.

11. In the liver, spleen, pancreas - here we find EFFECTS of the disturbance within the stomach, its position, and the condition existent from within. These are PURELY reflex, though the LIVER suffers the most. This would EVENTUALLY produce an unbalancing in the hepatic circulation, unless corrected in the present. These, we will find, will remove these disorders.

12. From these pressures in the lumbar, we at times have that condition in the locomotaries, feet, limbs, pelvic organs themselves, not functioning in a normal manner; a suppression of the elimination through the pelvic organs, or an excess of same, coming from those pressures of a sympathetic nature in the system attempting to ADJUST itself to those disorders that have been existent in the nervous system, or muscular forces from same; then affecting the functioning organs, though we DO NOT find ORGANIC disorders in the system. TENDENCIES may be seen, but these are sympathetic.

13. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions as we find them in THIS body, [1048] we are speaking of, we would first have those corrections made of those conditions existent in the cerebrospinal system - see?

14. As these are being corrected (and it will be necessary for the body to wear a support for the stomach itself, that will tend to keep this in position), we would take internally those properties as will make for a clearing of the alimentary canal, in such a way and manner as to rid the body of those poisons as have been of long accumulation, and that will assist and aid the functioning portions OF the organs to function in a NORMAL, NOMINAL, manner.

15. We would take, then, as this - prepare in this manner:

16. Take 1 gallon of distilled or rain water. To this add: Wild Cherry Bark................2 ounces, Sarsaparilla Root...............2 ounces,

1048-2 Page 4

Dogfennel.....................1/2 ounce, Prickly Ash Bark..............1/2 ounce, Yellow Dock Root..............1/2 ounce, Burdock Root..................1/2 ounce, Elder Flower....................4 ounces. Reduce this by simmering, or slow boiling, to 1 quart. Strain while still warm and add 2 ounces of grain alcohol, with 1 dram Balsam of Tolu cut in same. Then add Tincture of Capsici 3 minims. Shake the solution together before the dose is taken, and take half a teaspoonful before each meal and before retiring.

17. Have the corrections made until at least twelve are made, then REST for a month before another series of ten or twelve are taken.

18. Keep the eliminations in the alimentary canal open - see?

19. Exercise in the open, but with that of discretion - so that the tendency for the position of the stomach and organs are not too easily made in an improper position.

20. As for the diet, we would follow rather as this - though these may may be altered from time to time. Beware of apples, bananas, COLD drinks - or too severe of those carbonated waters, but as this as as diet:

21. Mornings - citrous fruits or cereals, but NOT both. Stewed fruits, or fresh fruits, or berries. Apples may be taken at such a period, provided they are WELL cooked.

22. Noon - the green vegetables with the salad dressings, whether of the oils or of other ingredients, but not a heavy noon meal.

23. Evenings - the vegetables may be taken that are WELL cooked. Fowl or mutton may be taken as meats. Not condiments at any meal. At this meal the fruits, fresh fruits, melons or such, may be taken in moderation. Ready for questions.

24. (Q) Will the psoriasis infection which attacked me strenuously during the past year be recurrent? (A) Not if the corrections are made that are causing or producing same, as has been outlined.

25. (Q) Is the suggested vaccination recommended as a probable cure? (A) This would only add later to disorders. Make the CORRECTIONS of not only those incentives from the cerebrospinal system, but of the organ itself - that is not in align. With the manipulations in those specific centers, and with the strengthening of the muscular forces with the proper activities in the exercises as is suggested - in the

1048-2 Page 5

open; that is, any of those that are not so strenuous as to produce too much heaviness in the torso portion of body - that exercise as would be taken of morning and evening of bending forward; that is, with the tips of fingers to the floor, will be MOST helpful - but DO NOT make too strenuous! This preferably done in the open. Following the exercise and the eliminations, taking those properties as outlined, we will have a perfectly normal body.

26. (Q) Should the manipulations be osteopathically given? (A) Osteopathically, or chiropractically - if given in an osteopathic manner. These CORRECTIONS must be made, but the manipulations for the whole system will aid much. But do not leave out the properties as have been given, for each of the medicinal properties have their specific activity upon the various forms and conditions as have been described that have arisen within the system itself, giving tone, giving vitality, giving those forces - or adding that vibration within the stomach itself to create FOR the system a perfect medicine chest within the stomach, that will produce for the building body that necessary for a perfect functioning.
