Time of Reading 3:30 to 3:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1049].

2. Now, as we find, while many conditions are very good in the physical forces of the body, there ARE tendencies and inclinations in the present the correction of which would prevent a great deal of disorder later on; also relieve the body of discomforts that arise in the physical functioning of organs in the present time.

3. As we find, there are those tendencies that arise from the poor eliminations in certain directions; yet the effect that these have upon the system is of the nature that prevents the circulation from being equalized through the various portions of the body. And this tends to make for a condition in the veins and arteries themselves, about which there needs to be the greater precaution taken in the present. Not that this has as yet assumed any alarming proportions, but the lack of eliminations has caused the forming within the arteries and the veins themselves this slowing condition. Not a sclerosis; not a disturbance of the nature that would make for any immediate reaction.

4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1049] we are speaking of:

5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find those indications in the blood stream (or in the nature of it) of the disturbing influences or forces in the body. The slowing of the circulation through portions of same; the activities and the manners in which the pulsations react at times. Not a heart disturbance, but there is a quickening; there is a slowing that needs correction so that the activities of these (that are the life flows of the body) may be nearer normal, and coordinant with the activity of the lung supply and the liver and kidneys; or that the pulmonary circulation and hepatic circulation may be more coordinant.

6. In the elements of the blood force we find there is a tendency towards an excess of calcium accumulations, or

1049-1 Page 2

those properties that form WITH same.

7. Hence the natural reaction has been and is for a deficiency in the functioning of glands of the body through these disturbances that make this lower and lower at times. At other times, the system adjusting itself to meet the needs, the body feels a great deal better. But at periods in the circulation the lower limbs or the extremities, or portions of the body, become - as it were - tingling, or deadened, or cold, or at other times as if needles or pins were sticking in them. All of these are but indications or warnings to the body of disturbances. These are NOT causes; they are effects.

8. IN THE NERVOUS FORCES OF THE BODY, here we also find a contributory cause to the conditions that are indicated in the system by the lack of impulse, then the lack of the flow. The slowing of the circulation from a superficial activity and making for deeper circulation, gives the indications for the pallor at times shown in the face; or in the feelings or the drawing that comes through the throat and to those portions of the alimentary canal. Or there are periods when the body feels as if it might feel or see or indicate the whole separation of the alimentary canal from the rest of the body. It is a feeling of the nerve forces being more active in the deeper circulation, with the tendencies for influences to the superficial to be rather of a slowed impulse to the whole of the circulatory forces.

9. This, then, is the reaction through the nerve forces of the body.

10. IN THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces are very good. There are at times slow reactions or slow responses. That is, as the body attempts to recall this or that; or as there are those conditions wherein there is the necessity, as it were, for a quick circulation of the blood supply by concentration through the brain forces or energies. For this is the manner in which recollection or memory is active in a body. And this body here would be a very good one to illustrate many of the effects that might be indicated from the activities of a body in these directions!

11. In the activities of the eyes, the ears, the throat: ALL of the SENSORY forces, we find, are at periods LACKING in the abilities for their response. This is the activity, too, that has been indicated, of a separation - as it were - between the impulses from the sympathetic or vegetative nerve force and the deeper circulation. For the sensory forces are a portion of the sympathetic system, see? Yet, of course, they receive their impulse for eliminations FROM the cerebrospinal or from the deeper circulation, or those

1049-1 Page 3

impulses that arise from same.

12. Throat, bronchi, lungs and larynx: We find these are very good when we consider the general conditions.

13. The throat, or slow activity of the thyroids, makes for an indication of the character of elements that are being left in the system. This is indicated in the manner in which the glands in and about the activities of the hepatic circulation make for those strains upon the kidneys at times, when there are those reflections through same that make for frequent yet sparse reaction from the bladder. These are sympathetic conditions, as is also the throat - through the intestinal activity of the system.

14. Heart: As has been indicated.

15. Digestive forces show the tendency for these accumulations by the lack of impulses for the proper distributions through the body of the forces to be eliminated.

16. IN MEETING, THEN, THE NEEDS OF THE CONDITIONS OF THIS BODY IN THE PRESENT:

17. As we find, not a great deal would be required; but rather SPECIFIC applications would be the more preferable for this body. That is, two forms of electrical vibration would be the most HELPFUL influence. One that will make for an equalizing of the circulation in the extremities, without influencing or calling upon any portions of the organism; that furnishes, as it were, the recharging of same to the activity.

18. Hence we would use every day the Radio-Active Appliance, for a week or more. Then rest from same a few days, and then begin again. This would be most helpful and would REST the body. Or when the body is mentally or physically tired, even at other portions of the day, it will assist in making for resuscitating influences and be helpful in resting the body when it retires from physical activity. Keep the plates cleansed and the wires in perfect order. The attachments should be made, of course, to the opposite extremities.

19. Also in periods of two to three days at a time, with a rest from same for two or three days and then again, we would use in the evening when ready to retire a thorough treatment with the plain violet ray (hand machine, bulb applicator). This would be for recharging, as it were, the ganglia along the cerebrospinal system. And especially would this be most helpful around the neck or throughout the cervical area, across those areas of the thyroid or the vagus nerve centers in the frontal portion of the body; all down the cerebrospinal system, especially at the 3rd and

1049-1 Page 4

4th dorsal, 12th dorsal, 4th lumbar; then to the extremities at times. Take about eight to ten minutes to give a good treatment to the body. This three or four times each week. The treatments may be given in rotation, or they may be a day or so apart; but for eight to ten minutes when these are given will be found to be most helpful to the body.

20. A massage occasionally would be well. This would be AFTER, though, a sweat is taken for a stimulation to the eliminations in the superficial circulation. Not too much; not too high a sweat, as to overburden the activity of the heart and the forces that flow through same in its activities, but sufficient that the skin may become moist all over. Then following such a sweat there would be a thorough rubdown with pine oils; or Olive Oil and Pine Oil with Tincture of Myrrh. These would be most helpful. Follow same with an alcohol rub, but for this body let it not be other than the GRAIN alcohol; for the absorption of same in this body would have the tendency to increase or stimulate the circulation and be most helpful.

21. In the matter of the diet, this would be rather important. Occasionally use a great deal of those things that carry quantities of iodine, for this the body requires. But for this body it will be most soluble from vegetables; turnips, salsify and the like; shell fish; oranges; especially pears. Two or three pears each day will be MOST helpful in the manner of furnishing iron, silicon; and especially considering the influences such would have with the electrical forces - that is, the pears' activity to produce an activity to the gland forces of the body.

22. Do these, with the regular activities, and we should find much nearer normal forces for this body.

23. Ready for questions.

24. (Q) Are the glasses alright? (A) These will necessarily have to be changed a little bit later. That is, in two or three months; for we will find an improvement to the eyesight - as we have indicated for the activities of the sensory forces of the body.

25. (Q) How should the Oil Rub be prepared; what proportion? (A) Equal portions. When we give that it's a combination, it isn't necessary to state each quantity; it's the same quantity of each!

26. (Q) How often should the massage be given? (A) Two to three times a month.

(See letter [which was enclosed] to be sent to Health Home Remedies Co., with specifications for type of appliance needed. See article [which was enclosed] explaining theory of the Radio-Active Appliance. With the violet ray hand machine you could use the bulb and neck applicators. I think several applicators come with the machine. So you will need those two, according to the Reading. The sweat - two or three times a month - could be taken at home, by using hot wet blankets, etc. Buy the oils separately for the massage, and add them in the order given. Heat the Olive Oil to add the Oil of Pine and the Tincture of Myrrh. If everything is not clear, let us know. GD.)
