Time of Reading 4:10 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., New York. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1051].
2. As we find, while conditions are very good in many respects, there are disturbances the correction of which in the present would make for a better activity throughout the physical forces of this body.
3. These, as we find, have to do with disturbance to the functioning of organs. And the character of disorder that PRODUCES this arises from an unbalancing in the system of the eliminating and assimilating system.
4. Hence conditions are involved in this manner with this body, [1051]:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find the tendencies for a change in the temperature, through the forms of inflammation that are produced by these disturbances in the organs of the system. These are not those exactly of the malarial nor completely of the strep nature, but are a combination - or toxic conditions from forces in the disturbance of the kidneys.
6. IN THE NERVE FORCES, these become quite taxing to the system, making for periods of jerkiness, also indicating that the deeper circulation is more in order or exceeds that of the superficial. Hence a FORM of the lack of the elements necessary in the blood and nerve forces for the proper balance; or an anemia.
7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, with this natural disturbance in the circulation and in those tautnesses in the muscular forces through the nerves' incoordination in the cerebrospinal and sympathetic systems, these make for distresses through the soft tissues in the head at times. At others these clarify.
8. In the throat, bronchi, lungs and the larynx: Naturally the inflammation makes for a heaviness across the small portion of the back, or just below the lung's areas; from the inflammation through the whole of the circulatory forces
1051-1 Page 2
of the system, or along the lower edge of the diaphragm but across the back - or just above the kidneys and through the kidney area.
9. In the heart's activity: This is only disturbed sympathetically.
10. Digestive forces, as we find, are indicated as disturbed when there has been a continued activity in the circulatory forces through the disturbances in the organs as indicated; or the hepatic circulation. And these produce or make for those tendencies for the lack of proper elimination, the lack of proper movement through the alimentary canal.
11. Hence aiding and abetting, as it were, in the toxic forces of the body itself.
12. And also the spleen and the pancreas at times become involved in their activity.
13. Through the liver congestion we find a great deal of the disturbance, or between the liver and the lower hepatic circulation - or between the liver and kidneys as the area for the distresses to these portions of the system as indicated.
14. In the activities of these to the organs of the eliminations, in the torso portion or through the alimentary canal and through the colon: These make for disorders that make for an adding to the disturbances in the activity of the kidneys themselves.
15. IN MEETING, THEN, THE NEEDS OF THE CONDITIONS FOR THIS BODY:
16. As we would find in the present, we would have periods when there would be the Oil Sweats taken. Or a massaging once or twice a week of the body, and then the Cabinet Sweats and a thorough rubdown after same, see? These would be taken for a period of three to four weeks, once or twice a week, in this form and manner.
17. Then, AFTER these had been completed, we would have specific ADJUSTMENTS, osteopathically made (not from the masseur but osteopathic!), in the lower dorsal, through the lumbar area; coordinating same in the upper dorsal and cervicals, especially for the setting up of drainages and the keeping of a normal balance in the system. As we find, there should not be required more than twelve to sixteen such adjustments and treatments.
18. Throughout the period be very mindful of the diets, that these are kept TENDING toward the alkalin-reaction; but of sufficient body and blood building - that may be found through the food values that carry not only the Vitamin E but those also of A and B. Or those forces that make for creating of the effluvium that is PRODUCTIVE in its activity
1051-1 Page 3
with the glands of the system (the E) or those activities in the A that would make for an aid in the DRAINING, as it were, or the eliminations as related to the activity of all STRUCTURAL portions of the body.
19. Hence one meal each day we would have of raw fruits OR vegetables, OR a combination. And we would have quantities at times of orange juice, grapefruit juice. And we would take occasionally the White's Cod Liver Oil Tablets.
20. Do this and, as we will find, we will bring the near normal conditions for this body.
21. Ready for questions.
22. (Q) With what oils should the body be massaged before the sweats are taken? (A) Preferably the Pine Oils, or the Pine BATHS would be the preferable.
23. (Q) How often should the osteopathic treatments be given? (A) About twice a week. But these are not to be begun until after a period of the Sweats and the Massage, as indicated. But, of course, the Diet as indicated should begin almost immediately.
24. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] with directions to The Reilly Service for the hydrotherapy treatments. See letter [which was enclosed] with directions for Dr. Dobbins for the osteopathic treatments, that are to come later. See Alkalin-Reacting Diet List [which was enclosed]. If everything is not clear, let us know. GD.)
