Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:50 A. M. Central Standard Time. ..., Kentucky. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1057].
2. As we find, there are disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body. The effects of the disturbances are causing a great deal of discomfort to the body. The more often the applications are, or have been, for the effects rather than for the causes; the causes arising from the lack of the proper eliminations or the coordination of eliminations in the physical forces of the body.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1057] we are speaking of:
4. First, IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, here we find indicated the nature of the disturbance, from the character of the blood flow and the blood supply itself. This shows toxic forces being carried through the system, and there is a regurgitation in the stomach and duodenum from the jejunum.
5. Hence there is the indication of obstructions or a plethora in the colon area itself. And the effects that are produced upon the system through the activity of the organs make for the greater disturbance, producing an acidity reaction in the blood supply, pressure in the blood flow itself, and a slowing of the flow through the extremities of the body.
6. In the elements of the blood itself, we find there are the indications of the toxic forces from the torpidity of the liver, the incoordination between the liver and the kidneys. Thus there is produced at times, as indicated in the present, a tenderness in the pyloric portion of the stomach itself; forming a tendency towards lacerations in the present which, unless corrected, must eventually become ulcerations - or hardening of the walls that will make for greater disturbances in the body itself.
7. These, as indicated, are reflected in the blood stream.
8. IN THE NERVOUS FORCES OF THE BODY, with the pressures
1057-1 Page 2
produced by the engorgement or plethora in the colon area, specifically in the transverse and a portion of the descending colon, we find there is often felt through the nerve forces a heaviness in the left side. Thus there is caused or produced at times a quickening of the heart's activity through the gases that form from this portion of the distress.
9. Hence we will find that quick activity or movement of the body will bring on this quick pulsation through the sympathetic nerve system, giving warnings. While the regurgitation by the lack of the proper digestion, because of the regurgitation, produces a pressure upon the hypogastric plexus; causing headaches that occur as a portion of the head pressure in the top of the head, through the eyes and in the temple; varying according to the position of the pressure upon the hypogastric plexus.
10. Heaviness through the shoulders and under the shoulder blades at times occurs in the nerve reflexes.
11. IN THE ORGANS THEMSELVES OF THE BODY, in the brain forces the reflexes as yet are nominal or normal, though under stress these become depressing to the body itself.
12. And the organs of the sensory system, through the flow of the lymph or the emunctory circulation, are affected; because congestion is produced in the soft tissue of the face and head at times, or the subject becomes amenable to congestion easily.
13. In the throat, bronchi, larynx and the lungs: Here we find when there is distress, as in the present in the body, there is a heaviness felt through the lower portion of the lungs by the very attempt of the circulation to purify as quickly as possible the blood stream, owing to the excess of toxic forces carried in same from the distresses produced in the stomach, in the duodenum, and especially as arising from the causes of the disturbances.
14. In the heart's action, as indicated, the pressure has been and is abnormal; yet there is not an organic heart disturbance - as yet. This is merely a reflex action, or the effect of other disturbances that make for an overflow or slowing at times of the circulation in portions of the body.
15. In the digestive system, or through the stomach and the activity of the spleen, the pancreas and the liver, and the kidneys as related to assimilation - owing to these disturbances as indicated - there is a slowing up often of digestive forces. Or there is the lack of sufficient balance in the lacteals to produce the proper balance in digestive fluids. Hence we have a dyspepsia reaction, as it
1057-1 Page 3
were; at others a filling of the stomach itself, and the conditions that arise from the formations of gases from the excess of fermentations produced by the long period of foods lying in the stomach without the proper movement of same through the system for activity by the various secretions from pancreas, liver, spleen, and from the digestive fluids from the pylorus or the duodenum. Hence the lacerations that occur are in the openings to the emptying of the stomach itself; though these are EFFECTS as yet. And if the causes will be removed, with precautions taken as to the character and the nature of the fluid forces in the digestive system, we would not only bring ready relief but would make for that which would become of a permanent nature for this body.
16. In the functioning of the organs of the assimilation: The slowing of the circulation, the effect of the fermentation's activity, produces those tendencies for the secretions from the gall duct area to become involved at times.
17. Hence this would at times be called, under some of the periods when there is distress, a gall bladder or gall duct congestion. For sediments tend to accumulate there, though with an increasing of alkalinity and of eliminations through the alimentary canal, these often cleanse themselves; showing again this to be an effect rather than a cause.
18. With the acidity and this excess of activity through the circulatory forces and the nerve forces, the kidneys become involved only sympathetically; though there would be indications - from an analysis of the excretions from the kidneys or urine, and the inflammation caused in the bladder at times - that this IS a portion of the distressed area. But again, when there are the tendencies for the chemical forces or of properties that produce a stimulation to the activity of the kidneys, these clear themselves. Hence indicating again that these are effects and not causes. But unless there are those precautions or measures taken to cause the ability of the body to produce resuscitating influences, rather than just palliatives (as has been), these conditions are going to become worse and not better.
19. But, as we find, if we would add these to the activities of this body (that we will suggest), these conditions would clear and the causes of the disturbances be removed.
20. First, then, we would begin with the cleansing of the colon itself, by and through the use of colonic irrigations. This should not be all attempted at once, but there should be during the first month at least three or four high colonic irrigations. Use the intestinal antiseptics at the
1057-1 Page 4
time, and with their irrigations, that there may not be produced the laceration or too great a disturbance in the mucous membranes or linings of the colon itself.
21. Hence we would use the Alkalin Petrolagar in the waters used in the irrigation; an ounce to each gallon of water used - and use at least one and a half to two and a half gallons at each operation or irrigation. Keep this stirred in the container as it is injected in the system.
22. In the last water, or rinse water (after the first cleansing), use at least a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline, as an intestinal antiseptic. This also being alkalin will make for strengthening to the system, rather than being a strain on same.
23. We would begin also with the use of Alcaroid; a quarter teaspoonful after each evening meal, for a period of three to four to five days - about twenty to thirty minutes after the evening meal. Stir the quantity in a small amount of water, then fill the glass with water, and then drink another full glass of water afterwards.
24. At the end of the fifth day (following the beginning of the Alcaroid), take two Caroid and Bile Salts Tablets. These will be for producing an activity to the functioning of the excretory or secretive activities of the liver, the spleen, the pancreas. These would be taken for two days in succession. If the periods of the irrigations are at the same time, it is alright; for this will enable the body to eliminate the better.
25. We would also find that a lack of fried foods of any kind, or of white bread, will be most beneficial; especially during the periods of these applications.
26. Do this. Be consistent and persistent, and we should remove the causes. Thus gradually the disturbances in the stomach, the effects upon the nerve forces, will disappear. Not at all at once. But when the pains occur through the stomach, take the Alcaroid the more often. This will remove the gas and create a balance in the lacteal secretions.
27. Ready for questions.
28. (Q) How many rounds of the Alcaroid and Bile Salts should be taken, and should there by a rest period between? (A) As indicated, these would be taken during the periods when the distresses are indicated. In the beginning, it would be well for the Alcaroid to be taken for five days, as indicated; and then the Caroid and Bile Salts Tablets - and then this repeated. Then a rest period of a week, and then take again, even though the body may feel a great deal better.
29. (Q) What caused the spell last fall which apparently
1057-1 Page 5
was a heart attack? (A) As indicated, the pressure through the engorgement in the colon itself upon the system; producing an increased pressure in the flow of the circulation. Not a heart attack, rather the nerve conditions and pressures from the engorgement in the colon. There has not been wholly a prolapsus, as indicated; though, as outlined, there are indications that the folds through the sphincter muscular forces in the lower portion become affected at times. With the proper use of the irrigations, and the removal of those fecal forces, much of this will be eliminated - as well as the blood pressure will be made normal and there will be the ability for digestive forces. At times it may be found necessary to use a combination of Milk of Bismuth with Elixir of Lactated Pepsin; when super-acidity arises from the disturbance in the digestive forces, so as to produce a sick headache. The dose would be a teaspoonful of the Milk of Bismuth in which there would be put ten drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin, stirred in a tumbler or glass of water. This produces absorption, increases the flow of pepsin or lactic activity, and settles the stomach. Especially is this to be used if or when sick headaches occur; not at other periods.
30. (Q) Any specific diet? (A) As indicated. Rather the warning would be: No fried foods. No white bread. The body would be averse, owing to circumstances, to so strict a diet. But if these things are eliminated from the diet, it will be found to be MOST beneficial. No heavy fats, but particularly no fried foods nor white bread. DO that, and we will bring not only relief but a removal of the causes of the disturbances for this body, [1057].
