Born November 12, 1913, on Wednesday at 10:00 A. M., at ... St., New York, N.Y. Time of Reading 11:15 to 12:10 A. M. Central Standard Time. New York, N.Y. (Life Reading Suggestion)
1. EC: (In going back over years to birth date - " - '27, '26, '25 - An affliction - '24, '23, '22, '21, '20," etc., on back to date of birth.)
2. Yes, we have the records of the entity now known as, or called, [1058]; and those relations with the universe and universal forces, that are a part of the entity's sojourn in the material plane as well as those influences that make for the development of the soul-entity through those environs about the earth.
3. This entity, as we shall see, has many conditions to meet - which may only be met in relationships to Creative Forces that are made manifest through those experiences of the application of the Spirit of Truth as set in Him, in the relationships to the individuals and groups whom the entity may contact from day to day in the present experience.
4. The purposes, then, for the entity's entering into activity in the present, that become manifest in the material world, are set before the entity in that in which it may apply itself in its relationships to individuals, to groups, to masses.
5. Those influences that are emblematical or are of the earth's environs, that will make for omens or helpful influences, are apparent from the entity's activities in sojourns in the earth.
6. Hence, as we would find, the wearing of the stone lapis linguis would be as an aid in its meditative periods, and would become as a helpful influence. Not as that of "lucky," but rather that as of a helpful influence towards making for the ability to make decisions in dealing with mental attributes.
1058-1 Page 2
7. Also the odor of the peach blossom, or of those natures partaking of the sandalwood as combined with same.
8. Also the numerological aspects make for the numbers as of three and seven.
9. These make for those expressions, then, that are manifest in the activities in its delving into or in its dealings with problems.
10. For, as will be seen from those experiences through the astrological sojourns (as they are termed by some), we have these influences:
11. Some are an affliction. Some are in the benevolent influence.
12. Hence we will find periods in the experience of the entity when from astrological aspects the entity becomes subject to those influences of affliction.
13. But let each soul know, there is no influence above that of the WILL of the individual when made one with the Creative Forces as are set in Him.
14. For His promises are sure. And He will not leave those comfortless who seek, but will abide with those that seek to know His face, His will, His biddings. Not every one that saith "Lord," but he that DOETH the will. THIS, then, is that will which beareth witness with His Spirit, that ye become indeed the children of the living God, KNOWN by thy dealings with thy fellow man.
15. In Mercury we find the high mental abilities, yet making for what will be termed by many as peculiarities in the activities of the entity.
16. For the abilities as a statistician or datastician become as a portion of the entity's activity. But the ENTITY becomes more interested in not that which has PRODUCED the effect upon a given group but as to the NUMBERS that would be INFLUENCED BY an activity in the experience of a group.
17. Hence those things that arise in the experience of the entity in making for its dealings with its fellow man, in dealing with groups or individuals that have in a manner lost their way; or those that may be influenced to see helpful, hopefulness in their own activity in its relationships to things; that makes for what may be termed in materiality as FORGETFULNESS to the hardships or hard things that may have been said or done by others. To use self in a helpful manner makes such conditions become as naught in the experience of one applying self in that direction.
18. In Venus we find an afflicting experience with the Mercurian influences. Hence oft does the entity find that
1058-1 Page 3
those relationships with individuals as in the home or in its closer relationships in its activities become as experiences that are as hardships, or things hard to be understood. And many questioning experiences arise in the influence of the entity in such relationships.
19. Hence it will be in the latter portion of the entity's activity in '38 to '39 before there should be definite relationships made in establishing the correlationships in home building.
20. For then we will find that Jupiter AND Venus will be rather in the benevolent influence. For the ENTITY becomes afflicted with Jupiter AND Uranus. Yet these in those experiences or periods become then as helpful forces.
21. Hence in Jupiter we find those activities in the entity at present dealing with not only group activity but the influence upon the lives and the experiences of many.
22. Hold fast to that thou hast set in thine determination to know not only the mysteries of life, that make manifest through the mental experiences of individuals, but the motivative influence of the spiritual life upon groups and masses.
23. In Uranus we find that influence making for the eccentricities of the entity; those periods when there are apparently very good influences and at others very bad in every relationship; when the entity feels that apparently none of the friends, none of the activities that should, have made for a continual development nor are working the way or manner in which their activity or trend apparently was made.
24. Yet again we find, as is the experience of each soul, there are those periods of affluence and those periods of depression; that come to each and every soul in materiality. But if the trust, the hope, is put not in self, not in self's ability, but rather in Him that is the Giver, the Maker of all good and perfect gifts, it will be found that the more the reliance is put in those influences of Him - in the activities in the material world - greater will come the abilities for finding harmony, peace and understanding.
25. For like begets like. And as ye sow, so shall ye reap. Not only in the present as man knows the experience but throughout the activities. For they, ALL influences, will only be met in the application of His tenets to thy dealings with thy fellow man.
26. As to the appearances in the earth, and those that make for the emotional experiences of the body present in this experience, we find:
27. Before this the entity was in that now known as the old
1058-1 Page 4
Vinland, or in and about Salem and Provincetown. It was during those experiences when there were those persecutions of those who harkened to the experiences in individual life in relationships of the spirit, in which many were either directed or tempted.
28. The entity then, in the name Marcia Andersen, made for a helpfulness to those that were persecuted for their beliefs in the visions and the expressions that were a portion of the entity's surroundings and sojourn.
29. Thus from the material angle there were brought hardships in the experience; yet in the soul and spiritual development there were brought hope and life, and expressions that made for the soul development.
30. In the present from same are those sensitivenesses to the various forms of psychic experience or soul experience. The emotions that arise from the speaker that may depict by the story or by the expression those activities that have moved groups and masses. These move the entity much in the same way and manner as those influences brought to the entity then, in Marcia Andersen, in that experience, in Provincetown.
31. In the present use same not to thine undoing but rather that those expressions may find manifestation in the abilities within self for its writings, for its abilities to make for those associations in same, to have their basis in those things that He of Galilee gave: "In my father's house are MANY mansions, and they are for thine abode and thine understanding, if ye will but love my brethren - feed the sheep - care for the lambs."
32. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the French, or in that portion of same called Alsace; during those periods when there were the preparations for the period called the Crusades; when there were the gatherings of many of the men and children for that activity in defense of an ideal to those who had named the way of the Cross - as for a persecution of the heathen.
33. Little did they of those days realize that the activities were but as He had given, "Ye will experience those days when ye shall be persecuted, and ye shall persecute in my name - yet I know you not."
34. For he that would laud himself that the praise may be in His name has but lost the real purpose, the real cause. For there be only the name of Him that blessed and cursed not; that gave to those though they bruised His body, though they sought to do away with those principles. For the very activity made for the growth in the minds and the hearts and the souls of those who sought, and who do seek, to know His
1058-1 Page 5
way. Not for self, but that the glory of the Father may be manifested through the Son in the earth.
35. So the entity then, in the name Felicie Tereshea, made for the periods of KEEPING self in the way that those about the entity might become as a portion of those who would defend the Cause.
36. Yet the entity brought periods of fear, periods of doubt, in the experience of the entity during that sojourn. And those periods of lapsing into doubt and fear brought periods within self where the entity called upon self that the BODY might be wrecked that the soul might grow.
37. These have builded in the experience of the entity to where in the present there may be seen afflictions of the body in a manner making for a soul and mental development.
38. HOLD rather thou to the Cross; not as that which would lord, but rather as that which would bless and that would show mercy even to the foes of same.
39. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Persian and Arabian, during those periods when there were the attempts of those from the Grecian land to destroy or to supersede the activities of the leader Uhjltd in that particular period.
40. The entity then was of the Grecians who came as those who would withdraw, or who would supersede those activities among the men in the 'city in the hills and in the plains.'
41. Then the entity lost during the early portion of its experience, for it allowed itself to become as a pawn that those of its fellows might gain the political or economic influence during the first portion of the activity.
42. Yet when the body became racked rather with the indulgences of the flesh and the healings were given through those activities of the leader, the entity became then rather among those who set themselves in array or as dedicating themselves for the activities for the young, for those left - as would be termed in the present - as the orphans and the homeless.
43. Thus the entity made for a period of advancement through the mercy, the tenderness, the joy given to those in that land.
44. Then the name was Mercerces.
45. In the present the experiences and abilities of the entity in those directions to become a portion of those activities where the homeless or the helpless are aided, or those that in material things have failed, or these who in their secular activities have become as fraught with the fears of their surroundings, become as a portion of the entity's experience for aiding in THEIR gaining hope again.
1058-1 Page 6
46. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods when there were those being consecrated in the Temple Beautiful; when the maidens and those in that land dedicated their lives for the activities in all the fields of service.
47. The entity was among the natives who were raised up in that activity for the experiences in other lands, in the name then Is-Te-Bel.
48. In the experience the entity gained throughout, until there came those attempts for the correlating in many experiences or fields of activity that made for the expressions of the sojourning with those of the Indian land - or those peoples of the teacher Saneid. Then became the periods of the loss to the experience of the entity in that land.
49. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain - and how - in the present:
50. Apply self in those things that have been indicated as being set before self, keeping first and foremost that which has been given by Him: "Love me, keep my commandments; and they are not grievous to be bourne, for I will come and abide with those that seek to know my way."
51. Ready for questions.
52. (Q) How can I overcome the countless fears which seem to dominate my whole existence? (A) As indicated, these become a portion of the experience because of those activities in the various fields of appearance in the earth. Only in Him, knowing - as He has given, "Ye abide in me and I in you, and I will cast out fear." And ye will come to that understanding that all force, all power, EMANATES from the Spirit of Truth - the Christ.
53. (Q) What can I do to acquire self-confidence and greater mental balance? (A) Study to show thyself approved unto thy Maker, rightly divining the words of truth, keeping self unspotted from the world. Be true to that thou knowest to do, and with thy heart, thy mind and thy body keep inviolate all pledges made to self and to thy Maker.
54. (Q) How can physical poise be attained? (A) As the Mind is the Builder, as the Spirit of Truth gives life, then when thy spiritual poise or balance is gained the PHYSICAL - through the mental balance - builds to that expression of same in the physical body.
55. (Q) Which vocation indicates the greatest success for this entity? (A) In that of being a datastician or statistician, or the
1058-1 Page 7
writer of same.
56. (Q) Have I the ability to write advertising copy that will sell? (A) As thine abilities lie in dealing with that which is to be and is a portion of thy fellow man, individually and in groups, then as thine vision goes for the greater advancement, more and more should the abilities show in those directions.
57. (Q) How am I to prepare for and secure such work? (A) BEGIN! and WORK in those directions that are being and are opened to thee in thine associations with thy fellow man!
58. (Q) Would a change of residence be of importance to my development? (A) Build WHERE THOU ART! Use what thou hast in hand TODAY! in the name of Him that IS the Giver! And tomorrow is given thee that thou shalt use then!
59. (Q) Would it be advisable to seek new employment at this time, and if so, in what field? (A) Rather in making the preparation where thou art, for those changes in the expressions of the abilities. It would be well to hold that thou hast in hand.
60. (Q) How can my superconscious mind be developed? (A) Open thine inner self to the purposes and the desires of thy heart, if these - thy desires - are attuned to the Spirit of Truth. For He has given, "Ye abide in me. Doubt not, for I will make known unto thee that position thou hast occupied, shall occupy, with me as from the Beginning."
61. (Q) Shall I consider a recent offer of marriage and trip to Florida? (A) As indicated, well that such relationships be considered rather in those experiences and conditions that will become a portion of the experience during the period indicated - rather than in the present. For such relationships in the present are under adverse influences.
62. (Q) In what other appearances, and how, have I been associated with the following: First, Miss [954]? (A) In the Egyptian, as well as in those activities in 'the hills and in the plains.'
63. (Q) Miss [288]. (A) In the Persian or Arabian.
64. (Q) Freda Millstein. (A) In the Salem and Provincetown.
65. (Q) Gilbert Owen. (A) OFT have the expressions been together. An adverse expression was in the period when the entity or body then journeyed from the Grecian land, and there was a variation of same in the period when the developments for the entity
1058-1 Page 8
arose in the Temple Beautiful.
66. (Q) Shirley Lawrence. (A) We do not find an association.
67. (Q) Charlotte Abrams. (A) In the Persian land; not from the Grecian connection with same, but in the Persian - for THEN the associations were from the Indian land.
68. (Q) Sadie Markman. (A) Those associations were by hearsay, from the activities of Markman in the land of Og.
69. (Q) Harvey Aaronson. (A) We do not find an association.
