Time of Reading 11:50 to 12:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Mich. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1062].
2. Now, as we find, there are some conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of the body. While in many respects the determination and the activities of the body carry forward the body's physical condition, there are those stresses upon the various portions of the system which - unless there are precautions, or corrections that will enable the body to relax more - will sooner or later allow the destructive forces to gain the upper hand.
3. This condition may be classified as that the central forces in the nerve energies of the body, that control the functioning of organs, are losing their vitality. Hence there has been a gradual slowing up in the activities as to the more vital forces of the body. This in part has contributed to the conditions within the body that make for detrimental forces. For the body is very DETERMINED in its ideas and in that desired to be made a portion of the entity's activities.
4. FIRST, as we would find, there should be more of a distribution of the responsibilities of the body's activities. To be sure, as the conditions exist, this becomes a problem for those about the body, to those associated in the activities of the body. But there should be, little by little, more responsibilities assumed by those closer to the body and its responsibilities that it takes upon itself, or has assumed from the very physical activities.
5. These, then, are the conditions-physical as we find them with this body, [1062] we are speaking of:
6. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, through the very nature of the activity in its circulation, we find a slowing of the vital forces - or as to the circulation between the lungs, the heart, the liver. Not the tri-circulation alone, but those
1062-1 Page 2
tendencies for the deeper circulation - or the venous circulation - to be slowed.
7. Hence we find there are those conditions in the superficial or the arterial circulation that are affected by this.
8. Hence we have an arterial disturbance that makes for this unbalanced condition in the katabolism as well as the metabolism of the system itself.
9. These we have indicated by the manner in which there is the variation from the extremities and the deeper or hepatic circulation.
10. Hence the lower portions of the hepatics become involved in the condition; leaving then the toxic forces of a uremic nature, from the lack of the proper distribution or eliminations through the coordination of the activity of the kidneys with the liver and the pancreas and spleen in the activity upon the body itself.
11. Hence we find those disturbances also at times that are indicated in the superficial functioning of the organs; as in the conditions which arise at times in various portions of the epidermis or the skin portions of the body.
12. There are the variations that arise from this same circulation through the throat, the head, and the effects as created upon the organs of the sensory system.
13. Also there is shown the effect of this deeper condition that involves the heart, the lung and the liver activity; and the slowing through the lower hepatic circulation.
14. IN THE NERVE FORCES OF THE BODY, here we find some of the causes as well as a great deal of evidence of the character of distresses. For there are periods when the general activities of the body make for an easy irritation of the body from those conditions about the body; those things in self that are not able to be accomplished by self as they have been in some directions. Thus we have a reaction when there are periods of general depressions of the body-MENTAL; only being acted upon through the physical forces of the body itself.
15. These, then, are from those centers where there are the coordinations between the cerebrospinal nervous system and the sympathetic system; owing to the very nature of the activities of the body - and its using of its nerve energy often to carry on, even when there are the feelings and the indications of the body lacking in the desire for real activity. Yet there is the desire for the ACCOMPLISHMENT of that desired by the body, and it forces the issue.
16. Hence we will have periods when across the lower lumbar there are heaviness and pains, and these make for a
1062-1 Page 3
deadening or a slowing of the circulation through the lower extremities of the body; and the feet give the body disturbance, making for periods when these become a part. They are effects of the disturbed circulation in the system attempting to warn the body as to those disturbances.
17. At other periods we find the same character of circulation disturbing the body through the shoulders, through the head, through portions of the sensory system itself.
18. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, as indicated, the greater involvements are the lungs, the liver and the heart's activities.
19. While there is not a specific heart disturbance, other than being affected sympathetically, we find that - if there continues to be the distress, without giving the organs that are under disorder or distress the opportunity for recuperation - this WILL become a condition where the engorgements of the heart and its coordination or correlation with the circulation from the liver and the lungs will become the major disturbance in the body.
20. In the brain forces: These are unusual in their abilities for memory in certain directions, and in the classifications of activities in orderly connections as they deal with the activities of the body and those about same. But these very energies at times make for a contributory disturbance to the circulation; requiring, as it does, an increased circulation through the head.
21. Those portions of the sensory forces, as from the eyes, the ears, the throat, the nasal passages, all suffer at times through an excess circulation without a coordinating activity where the sympathetics or the superficial activity through the arteries themselves carry the circulation back; or through the veins and the arteries not coordinating.
22. And the fullness that occurs at times, dizziness, those conditions that arise, come from these complexities that arise from ganglia as indicated - where there is the lack of keeping coordination with the bodily forces.
23. In the lungs' activity (as this is a disturbing portion in the body) there is a fullness that occurs, and not an organic disturbance - rather a functional one.
24. In the heart's activity also is indicated a functional disturbance rather than organic - as yet; though it may become so.
25. Also in the digestive forces, with the continual requiring of the flow of circulation through those portions of the organisms as indicated in the principal distributions of the blood supply itself, there is a lack of the proper
1062-1 Page 4
assimilation. There is a lacking in the gastric flow, or lactics, from the upper portion of the body, to function with the character of acids produced in the pylorus or the duodenum - in their coordination with the bodily functionings.
26. Hence indigestion, dyspepsia, the lack of proper assimilation at times - these become a portion of the disturbance, but are rather reflex than being the conditions that cause or produce the even digestional disturbances.
27. As to the activities of the liver, as it coordinates with the kidneys: Here we have rather a slowed circulation. For this condition which exists between the upper hepatic and the lower hepatic, or the liver and kidney circulation, has slowed to a great extent the circulation through these areas. Or we have what may be termed a cold circulation. For cold spots may be found at times along those areas where the circulation from the right and left side functions with the hepatic circulation. At times we will find same on the abdomen, on the right side; while at others we will find same on the left side, toward the back - a cold spot, or the indications of this disturbance between the circulations.
28. We find that these conditions taken in time, or now, may be corrected; if there are the proper coordinations produced.
29. And these may be done by rather a slowing - not that the body becomes restless; but there must be a slowing of the activities physically and mentally, and a coordination made in the cerebrospinal nervous forces of the body that coordinate with the sympathetics - in the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus in the cervical area, those in the upper dorsal, through the brachial center, and more specifically those in the LUMBAR axis.
30. For the activity of the body upon its feet has made for, as it were, a JAMMING in those centers; not that they are setting in the form of a lesion, as yet - but there is a shortening of the limbs one with another at times, in the axis between the pelvis and the cerebrospinal system.
31. In meeting these conditions, then:
32. First, we would use a low electrical force that may be had by the body from the Radio-Active Appliance, that EQUALIZES the circulations from the extremities. This should be taken of evenings as the body rests, just before retiring. But do not attach same and then continue to work the body mentally or to make for conversations that tend to create this flow of the circulation to the mind's activities. But let the body REST during those thirty to sixty minute periods that this is applied to the body. Keep
1062-1 Page 5
the anodes or plates very clean; and close in contact with the wrist and the ankle. And we will find that these vibrations WILL rest the body, making for a more even flow.
33. And occasionally, once a week or twice a week, have those manipulations osteopathically that set up - in those areas indicated - the coordinations between the deeper circulation and the superficial circulation, by stimulating those ganglia in the cervical plexus - or the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus; and those in the brachial center - 1st, 2nd and 3rd dorsal; and, SPECIFICALLY, those in the 4th LUMBAR center.
34. In the matter of the diets: These, as we find, are often disregarded by the body - as to the time of meal or as to the quantity, or as to those things that would produce either the superficial activity of organs or as related to what will be assimilated by the body.
35. Hence, rather than making the diet so specific, we would be warned as to these:
36. DO NOT take so much of those things that produce starch, or foods that are of a starchy nature; or those that produce too great an activity of the carbohydrates.
37. And we will find, within a few weeks, there will be greater response - and the body's feelings, and the body's activities will be much improved; and the body's experience even in the earth may be prolonged many years.
38. But if this is disregarded, then be mindful of those distresses under which the experience may labor.
39. Ready for questions.
40. (Q) How may the body be influenced to follow these suggestions? (A) First, as we would find, and as indicated, there should be shown more and more - by those associated, or around the body - the NECESSITY of, and the abilities of those that would aid in, RELIEVING the body of responsibilities, and of the anxieties that are caused by the body's daily associations in its activities. This must be done very gradually, and not to cause any period of overanxiety on the part of the body. Then, as these are accomplished, the necessity for those corrections - that the physical disturbances which arise may be met; and the necessity of there being something applied to create this balance. And this once begun - the improvements, and the greater feelings of the activities being helped, will speak for themselves.
1062-1 Page 6
41. (Q) What caused the lapse of memory three years ago? (A) Just as indicated. This overtaxing of the circulation to the extent that the flows of the blood supply to the head made for the UNDOING, as it were, of those indentations in the brain's activity that make for what man calls memory. As indicated, this disturbance in the deeper circulation.
42. (Q) What causes restlessness and nervousness, and what should be done to correct same? (A) This has been described, as to how there is the incoordination between the deeper circulation or the arterial and the venous circulation. So this slowing up of the arterial activity, or the calling away of the blood - as it were - from the superficial activity, produces portions on the body where there is not exactly an itch but an IRRITATION. This naturally produces restlessness, insomnia. Hence the equalizing of the circulation through the bodily vibratory forces, created by the low form of electric activity FROM THE BODY ITSELF, will aid in overcoming these disturbances.
43. (Q) Please explain the condition of the eyes and hearing, and what can be done to correct same? (A) As indicated. This excess of blood to the head overflows, as it were, the sensory organs. Thus drosses are produced that are not eliminated by the superficial circulation; but are carried back to portions of the body and naturally produce irritations first to the organs of the sensory forces, or to auditory forces, or in the ear, and produce an unbalanced condition. So, at times the body has periods of a small ticking, as it were; at others as of heavy thumping, and others when there are not the RESPONSES to the auditory forces - and the same conditions affect the eyes. But with the equalized circulation, and with the stimulation through the manipulations to cause the blood to flow back to the body, setting up drainages by the specific treatments in the upper dorsal and through the cervical, these will be aided to where local applications might then be helpful. But local applications in the MAIN would only be disturbing and detrimental. When these corrections have been made in the circulation, then it may be necessary for local applications; but do not have local applications in the immediate.
44. (Q) Is there a physical cause for the lack of tact, or is it his nature? (A) As indicated. The abilities of the body in its
1062-1 Page 7
physical and mental activities are ABOVE the normal. The PHYSICAL disturbances, with the lapse of that to produce proper coordination, cause rather the lack of tact in some directions.
45. (Q) What causes his unwillingness to go places, outside of home and business? (A) The fear of those upsettings of the disturbances and desires that have been set before self. These can only be overcome, as we find, by the correcting of the physical forces and by the indications of those about the body of their abilities to carry on equally as well or better than those activities that he has or does carry on.
46. (Q) What can be done to enable the body to relax? (A) If you once tie one of these Appliances on him correctly, he will relax!
47. (Q) What set-up in his present business can be arranged to ease his mental strain? (A) As indicated from the first, the abilities of those about the body to relieve the body. Not take away FROM, but to enable those about same - and the body itself to do greater things, or accomplish more, by their assuming more and more of the responsibilities in those directions in which the body has been the more active. Do these, in the manners as we find have been indicated; and we will add MUCH to the body's physical and mental reactions. Let there EVER be, for those about the body, not too great anxiety - but a helpfulness. And let the spirit of tolerance, of mercy, of justice, be the guiding influences in all the associations.
