1. EC: Yes, we have the entity and the records that have been made by same in its experience in the earth, of that entity now known as or called [1066].
2. The entity is of those from the Atlantean experience that may mean much to the earth in the present, in a constructive or a very destructive manner, dependent upon the application of the entity and its abilities as related to the material things and those experiences that are to be a portion of the entity's activity during this sojourn.
3. Woe are many, to many, that cross the entity's path when determination by the body is set in this or that direction. Or indeed it may be said, WELL are the experiences of the entity and those acquainted with the entity in the application of self in the abilities.
4. For much might be said as respecting the purposes for which the entity's entrance was into the earth's plane at this time; through wars, through rumors of war, so that if the entity does not hold self in check it will be drawn into same. For these become as experiences that harken to those things which were such a portion of the entity in the Atlantean expression, that was both good and bad.
5. But in giving that for this entity which we find may be helpful in the present experience:
6. Let the approach to this by the entity be rather as this: Not as a fanciful experience, but rather as that which is the interpretation of the records that have been made by the entity, the soul, in its sojourns through that called time or space. For in this or that environ we find very definite urges are INNATE. And through the very POWER, as it were, of the entity's manifesting in varied and diverse fields of
1066-1 Page 2
activity, these urges have been BUILDED that so oft in the present find or seek a manner of expression.
7. And there be those immutable laws that the entity knows innately, yet is hardly aware or conscious of same save under those pressures or experiences when there is the arousing as from within those things that harken to something that is as AFAR OFF. Yet these become more and more desirous of expression.
8. Upon what have these experiences, these activities - being the experience of the entity - been preserved; that there may be rolled back, as it were, for the entity, the visions through an interpretation of same?
9. Upon that called time and space, or the film of life as given by the Creative Forces in their expression for companionship, for glory; that the entities so manifesting themselves in that which is matter in the earth, that is force and power in the mental sphere, that is the glory of the Creator in the spiritual realms, may become aware that they are as one in this earthly experience.
10. For hate and jealousy are no easier to be seen or felt than mercy and love. Yet these become so entangled in the experiences of man, in a material world, that they find quite a different expression in their dealings with their fellow man.
11. In this entity's experience, it is hard to turn - as it were - from those experiences and possibilities and PROBLEMS that arise from the entity's sojourn in the Atlantean experience. For the entity then was of the sons of men, yet of the daughters of God; becoming entangled there.
12. As to those activities, then, that are as omens, or signs that are given man for his understanding - if they will but be studied, not as mere knowledge but as practical application of the urges derived from sojourns of an entity or soul in such environs:
13. We find the entity's sojourns between the few earthly experiences were the greater (in those that have an influence at present) through Jupiter; for this is as the ruling influence, or an innate activity that seeks expression, or seeking a vision as of a WHOLE. Not in detail, then, does the entity find manifestation, save through what the RESULTS are to masses, to groups, rather than to this or that individual experience.
14. Hence the associations in the entity's mental self become as those things that deal with large numbers of people, those things from the mental aspects that are the motivative influences in their activities; as to whether they be philosophical, economic, or as pertaining to the
1066-1 Page 3
more material or the lesser experiences in the human activity.
15. But greater visions, as do those things that move people from the angle of emotions, most of these become tabu to the entity; as would arise from what may be termed the classic arts, as of special poems, songs or music; yet these have their PART in the WHOLE!
16. For the entity looks upon rather the EFFECT as would be produced by the singing by THOUSANDS of 'HAIL COLUMBIA!' or 'DEVIL TAKE THE HINDMOST.' EITHER would have an equal effect or activity upon the entity in its relationships to the ART itself.
17. Hence we find from these experiences very definite innate urges. For these arise from that sojourn in the activities of the entity in those broader Jupiterian vistas, as it were.
18. The like of travel, the like of those things that make for NEW associations, NEW ideas; but never forgetting, as it were, the SOURCES from which these emanate. The NEW ideas for the religious thought, or the new economic influences. For ever are there those forces that make for the desire to try, as it were, new experiences. Not for the emotions alone, that they bring to the entity as an individual. Rather is it that there MUST be the more perfect way, and "Let's have it!"
19. The entity's sojourn in what may be termed the Uranian with the Venus influence makes for emotions, yes - but those of natures that have very definite activity for the individual. Hence friendships, marital relations, home relations, become rather things that may be termed as EXTREMES in many directions in the experience. Yet it is innately felt and known that there must be some basis for the home, for friendships, for love, for the experiences that arise from such relationships. And such emotions must be a part of every individual's experience for the greater expression of the entity in materiality.
20. Hence we have oft in the experience the confusions in friendships, in relationships that may deal with the entity as one to another; yet there is the constant turning or returning to the first cause or first principles. Hence we have extremes in the entity's associations, where those that may be only the earliest or even the latest person met may be as near and dear as those that may have been known from childhood. Again we find these becoming as changing things. Not that they have not had, do not hold, the proper sphere of relationships, but there is the constant search for that
1066-1 Page 4
which is REAL.
21. The Mars' influence or relationship, becoming rather adverse - as with Jupiter, Venus and Uranus, makes for periods when the aggressions of the entity's activity create that which becomes - not madness but DETERMINATIONS, that must be in material experience tempered, if there will be that which will make for the use of the experience for a developing towards the greater abilities, the greater opportunities, the greater incentives for purpose in life - that so oft at such periods appear to the entity so useless!
22. As to the appearances in the earth, then, as they deal with the emotions of the body, or that find expression in what we call the senses of the physical body, these are not indicated in great number.
23. Hence in any portion of the earth, as indeed it might be said that, wherever he hangs his hat it's home!
24. This is from those experiences that are so varied, as it were, in their expression in the material surroundings in the present.
25. Again it finds its expression in this; that those things either of the material benefits to man, those that offer the easing of man's relationships, or those that may be peculiar or odd to others, to the entity become commonplace very easily. Nothing is particularly different from what it has expected it to be, for "I've seen it before, in some realm of activity." These become not as oddities. They are oddities to others, but to the entity they are actual experiences.
26. For, we find:
27. Before this the experience of the entity in the earth was in that land now known as the Grecian, during those periods when there were the greater expansions of those ideas pertaining to the thought: "TODAY IS! TOMORROW ISN'T! SO LIVE TODAY FOR ALL THAT MAY BE OBTAINED IN SAME."
28. Yet the entity's activities in the earth during that experience, as Gargia, were both destructive and constructive.
29. For the entity then was one in power, that rose from the ranks of those who made for activities especially as concerning the overrunning of the 'city in the hills and in the plains,' where the teachers had brought a hope for those that were discouraged in body and in mind.
30. The entity did so not through love of destruction; rather in the attempts of self to understand that which would prompt the movements of peoples from many lands to become interested in one so lowly in life as that teacher or leader who separated himself, and yet built about himself
1066-1 Page 5
the great activities that dealt with not only the religious influence upon the earth in that experience but the economic, and upon the lives of many in various lands, through the commerce, the exchange or trades with other lands, or that went on between those activities in that 'city in the hills and in the plains.'
31. Hence the entity was among the Grecians who came because of curiosity, as would be termed in the present, but remained to study; and then to overrun - or to rule, but brought ruin - through the changing of ideas, the changing of plans, the changing from the lowly experience of those that were so weak in body and yet so high in the ideals of their mental selves.
32. Through these the entity made for destructive forces in a greater portion of that experience. Yet as there came those periods when there were the raids again from the Grecian lands, the entity turned to those things that made for the preserving of homes, the preserving of ideals, the preserving of those abilities for individuals to be prompted by the conviction of their mental selves.
33. Hence liberty of speech, liberty of activity, were FORCED upon the peoples in those experiences by the activities of the entity.
34. These grew in the experience, and in the latter portion of the experience in the earth made for a development.
35. Hence in the present activities, though they may be obtuse to the entity's own ideas in the present, those things that will deal with the preserving of homes or the associations as in real estate, or establishing of homes, or those things having to do with the changing of surroundings for peoples that have immigrated from other lands, will become those things which - if applied in the present experience of the entity - will make an outlet for self and self's abilities in establishing that freedom which is ever crying for expression within self. And it will enable the entity to make for self, for others, for those dealings with groups and masses, the expressions that will find fruition in making the life and the experience most worth while.
36. Before that we find the entity was in the Atlantean land, during those periods when there were those activities that brought destruction upon the land - by those who had turned, did turn, the advanced activities into destructive forces.
37. The ENTITY was among the children of the Law of One; those that were the sons of men, yet of the daughters of the Lord or those who had become purified of those entanglements in the animal forces that became manifest among many.
1066-1 Page 6
38. Then in its activity, as Ax-El-Tan, the entity made those attempts to curb the activities of the sons of Belial and Beelzebub. [Beelzebub - Mat. 10:25, etc.] Hence it rose to those positions as the warrior among the Atlanteans; and turned to the use of destructive forces with that expression which finds itself in the entity's activity in dealing with things to 'fight the devil with his own fire.' These became the law of the entity. Yet when these things arose more and more to the force of the Law of One, from the spiritual import, they made for the turning to those things that we know in the present as CONVENIENCES for man.
39. Hence those things that pertain to machinery and its activities are of interest; locomotion, whether in the airplane, in the gas bags, or the motorbile, or the like - all find a close association with the entity; yet there is a dislike for all. For these brought in the experience that of being carried away from the purpose of FREEDOM of activity, FREEDOM of speech, freedom to act as the promptings of the conscience of the individual might dictate the expression of itself.
40. These, as the entity experienced in the earth, as the entity experienced in those sojourns in the environs about the earth, are well - if they are kept in check. But these running riot for self-indulgence, for self-gratification, for selfish interests, become in the end those things that turn and REND the very heart of the body itself.
41. These used as in those experiences in the Arabian and Persian land, from the Greek God (as the entity was called then), for bringing hope and cheer, for bringing the desires for the BETTERMENT to others, may make for the peace and harmony that EACH soul seeks in its expressions in its relationships to its fellow man.
42. Would that all would learn those lessons, that are so simple yet so far-reaching! "That ye sow, ye must reap - As ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto thy Maker."
43. For the motivative force of love, of mercy, of judgement, is in the experience of each soul. As to whether those applications turn that judgement into weal or woe depends upon whether they are for self-indulgences or for the glory of the Maker.
44. Hence, as to the abilities in self:
45. Much might be given as to those possibilities, as to those emergencies that evidently from those experiences must arise in the entity's experience in the present.
46. STAND FAST to that which INNATELY prompts thee, from that Persian and Arabian rule. Hold FAST to that in thine
1066-1 Page 7
armor of the Law of One, from the Atlantean rule.
47. But know that the Lord is GOOD - to those that do good with His biddings!
48. Ready for questions.
49. (Q) What specific line of work would be best for the entity to engage in? (A) That dealing with housing, or homes, or those of wood, or those things pertaining to colonizations in activities in various lands. Or in dealing with groups that are from other lands that are settled in any specific portion of lands. These, as we find, would become the channels as indicated where the entity may find self the greater - and do GOOD to many.
50. (Q) Just what city would be most adaptable for my work? (A) This becomes country, rather than city; or moving about in the various activities. There are within the entity's own land many projects that are undertaken with or for the colonization of the individual activities in the various groups. As Alaska. Or even in the Alabama project, [Alabama Power Co. - Muscle Shoals, Ala.?] that has its PURPOSE - which is being so badly abused, and where the entity might help much!
51. (Q) When should I get married? (A) When you find the right one! These relationships, as indicated, are PROBLEMS in the experience. But these will change, if those purposes are set such that the abilities of self are to be used FOR HELPFULNESS in the experience of others; for the whole outlook upon such relationships will change. Hence we may find such relationships with one that is adapted and adaptable for the entity, but the entity must also adapt self - and know it's a fifty-fifty proposition, and not a ninety percent proposition on the one side and ten on the other! To be sure, it will be of the fair type; of the Nordic type; or the Grecian or Atlantean experiences will be uppermost in such an one, being of the daughters of those experiences. [GD's note: So true, he told us later, that he preferred girls of the fair type; he always felt that the dark-skinned, dark-haired type were not exactly clean or tidy.]
52. (Q) Any other suggestions regarding marriage? (A) These will be or should be sufficient, for there will be time enough for these!
1066-1 Page 8
Let that mind, then, be in thee as was in thy self as thou didst meditate upon the plains of Poseidia; that not the activities for self alone but for all the good that others may enjoy bring the greatest joy for self. Or as in the 'city in the hills and the plains' where the weak, the lame, the halt were aided; for the entity learned that such lowly ones have ALSO - as the power or the God in self - THEIR place in the experience of human endeavor. Duties, obligations, ACCEPT! For these, while they may rile at times upon thine very self, do not allow anger or animosity to overcome thee. Let the glory of thy blessings from thy fellow man find a place in thine heart.
53. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file [54.(Q)(Left out of original copy of reading) Can you give me any information regarding my father? [GD's note: He said he had been adopted by his mother [1065]'s husband, [1060] when he was a small boy, and his mother would never tell him anything about his real father or even his real name.] (A) Those things that are held in the innate self, as that which has been builded by those things told self, are the closest to that as may be found.]
