Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1069].
2. Now, as we find, conditions are rather serious. Yet, as we find, a great deal of help and aid may be brought to this body. Not only may there be relief of the distresses that arise from the paresis, or paralysis that is gradually affecting the nerves and the muscular forces of the body, but relief from the suffering induced in the system from those disorders and disturbances that we find indicated in the body.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1069] we are speaking of:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find the indications of that which has been a disturbance in the physical forces and in the circulatory system. The lack of the hormones as necessary in the circulation to carry those influences through those portions of the body where these are, as it were, far from the source of the energies that increase circulatory forces.
5. Hence we find those influences that have been more recently applied for the body are helpful to these conditions, for they supply to the circulation that which is an aid to same. But there would be the greater effect upon the system if there were other conditions added, as we find; as will be indicated as necessary for consideration in bringing relief and aid to this body.
6. As to the manner in which these conditions are caused: This lack of the elements has arisen from a disturbance in the locomotories, that produces in the present and has produced pressures that prevent the activity of the glands as related particularly to the adrenals in their activity with the system; in keeping an equal balance in the GOVERNING - as it were - of the circulation.
7. This, as indicated by the tests that have been made in
1069-1 Page 2
part, is a portion of the circulation, not only as related to the deeper or the arterial but also the slowness that has occurred and does occur in the veins in their return of the circulation for its activity upon the various portions of the system. Hence those tendencies that have been and are indicated in the reactions, that have been brought about in the body itself.
8. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, through the very pressures themselves, that have been brought about, the impulse has been slowed. As it may be said, there has become a short circuit between the nervous systems - from the very nature of the pressure itself; so that drosses or refuse forces, or used energies in the system, have not been carried back to the portions of the body for the proper eliminations - or the eliminations through their proper channels. For not only are there eliminations to be had from the alimentary canal, but those that are necessary in the activities of the kidneys - that are in a manner a portion of the disturbance in the system, the manner in which these have acted upon the body itself, in the lack of their coordination with the other activities. Also there are the eliminations that go on through the respiratory system, also through the perspiratory system. Hence these first becoming incoordinated, disturbances were gradually created in many portions of this body, [1069] we are speaking of.
9. IN THE FUNCTIONINGS OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, in some portions of the body, especially through the mental activities, through the assimilating system, there have become disturbances only at times.
10. Yet the heart's activity, its coordination with the liver, the spleen, the kidneys, has become disturbed by not only the applications but the disturbances for which applications have been made - that are the effects rather than the causes.
11. Then, in making the applications that would be helpful in the conditions as existent in the present:
12. As indicated, it would be well to use those activities that make for a forcing of the circulation, as it were, through the activities of properties that are given into the body itself. These we would keep.
13. But we would also begin with a massage. Not adjustments, not corrections, not of the osteopathic nature nor of any nature at present that acts upon the structural portions. But rather a massage with those properties that may be absorbed.
14. For, as indicated, for a long period there has been a very poor capillary or superficial circulation. So, there
1069-1 Page 3
is a drying of the skin, as it were, or portions of the body itself - save where inflammation has been increased or caused by the activities of the lack of these eliminations.
15. So these becoming coordinant with the stimulation being given the body, as we find, may bring the greater help to the body.
16. Begin, then, in the beginning, with a massage two times each week - especially Tuesdays, Fridays. This may sound peculiar, the naming of specific days. But days, weeks, years, the astrological and numerological influences, become as signs in the human activities - and have their relationships to same.
17. The compound to be used in such massaging would be prepared in this manner:
18. To 4 ounces of the Russian White Oil as the base, add - in the order named, and in these proportions: Oil of Cedar Wood....................1 ounce, Oil of Pine Needles................1/2 ounce, Oil of Wintergreen...................1 ounce, Compound Tincture of Benzoin.........1 ounce, Kerosene Oil.........................1 ounce, Sassafras Oil......................1/4 ounce. These ingredients of themselves will tend to separate. But when they are to be used, shake well together. Begin at about the 9th dorsal area. Massage the spine and especially the lumbar axis; from the 9th dorsal downward, extending gently over the lower limbs and especially to the bursae in the feet. These should be rubbed, as indicated, AWAY FROM the body; so that this massage tends to make for an increasing of the superficial circulation, and recurrent activities to all the portions of the body that will stimulate those corrections necessary to be made in the ganglia along the lower portion of the cerebrospinal system.
19. Also we would use the low form of electrical vibration as from the body itself; that is, the Radio-Active Appliance. While there is no effect felt by the body, those changes may be indicated by the attending physician - as to the manner in which the circulation or pulsation is aided.
20. This Appliance should be used once or twice a day, if there appears restlessness more than ordinary. It may be given for thirty minutes to an hour once or twice a day. The attachments would be to the opposite extremes of the body; that is, the right wrist and left ankle; the left wrist and right ankle.
21. Do these; being mindful that the diets are kept in
1069-1 Page 4
accord with that indicated by those attending the body, for the better conditions.
22. For these properties, as we find, will add to the effectiveness of those stimulations being given the body; thus offering the greater opportunity, the greater help for this body, [1069].
23. Ready for questions.
24. (Q) Should all treatments now being given be continued, especially the serum treatments? (A) The serum and the diets (as indicated by those applying the serum) would be continued. The others would not be so much continued; rather gradually dissipated. The necessary use of those things at times to quiet the body should be gradually diminished, as the effectiveness of the stimulations is active upon the system. In three to six weeks we would give further instructions - if these are followed.
25. (Q) What should be done for gas in stomach? (A) Those rubs as indicated will be helpful, as they extend above the portion of the stomach from which there is the activity. However, the cleansing of the system by or through the saline solutions will be helpful at times; but not too much of this.
26. (Q) How soon will the body begin to show improvement? (A) Should begin in three weeks, or the greater in the six weeks. Hence the indication that changes might be suggested for the betterment at that period.
27. (Q) How long a period should the massage be given at a time, or what quantity of the solution used? (A) Just what the body will absorb. And to prevent clogging it would be well to cleanse the system; not at each period, but when the regular baths are given. This would make for sufficient cleansing of the pores. But it will be found that these rubs will stimulate the circulation to the greater portion of the body. Massage just what the body absorbs, gently. As the condition improves, then the massage may be given a little more severely - in the LUMBAR and sacral areas, from which there are the radial conditions that first affected the body, causing those pressures upon the adrenals that, with the combined slowing of the circulation, caused a formation or hardening of tissue in extremities.
28. (Q) What will help eliminations? (A) As indicated, the saline solution - as the colonics - would be the better. These are preferable to attempting to stimulate the secretions of the gastric flow to a detriment
1069-1 Page 5
of other portions. Hence these should be aided by the foods that may be assimilated, and the activities as given.
29. (Q) Will she be able to walk, eventually? (A) This depends, to be sure, upon the RESPONSE the body makes. For, as indicated, this has become far advanced. If the eliminations of the poisons are able to be accomplished, that have become as hardened tissue, with the revivifying of the circulation, this then may be accomplished. This may be better determined or given in six weeks from now, if the applications are made, than in the present.
30. (Q) How often the colonics? (A) As indicated, do not irritate the alimentary canal eliminations too much; but there should be the sufficient eliminations that not too great an amount of poisons is allowed to accumulate there - or especially in the colon. Remember, as indicated, eliminations must be set up. There has been an increased elimination attempted through the alimentary canal without considering the circulation as related to the respiratory and the perspiratory system, or those eliminations through the BODY-force itself! Hence the applications as indicated are for the perspiratory system; absorption, and then the very flow of the circulation to throw off. Then, there is not required so great an activity through alimentary canal. But do not neglect one eliminating channel. Consider all channels, as to their coordination one with another.
31. (Q) Any kind of baths recommended? (A) No specific kind in the present. This may be a portion of the applications later, but these are the portions to consider in the present - as indicated. Do that. Keep the mind of the body as hopeful as may be possible, by keeping cheery atmosphere, and a hopefulness for the usefulness of the abilities of the body itself. For MUCH might be said in that direction, as to the helpfulnesses that have come to others through the very activity of this body in this experience. Then, in the present, the ministrations are needed that may, in a manner, be a return of those helpfulnesses; or a manner
1069-1 Page 6
of showing the appreciations of what has been done by the body. The appreciations of the entity's abilities, then, are the most cheering experiences for the body.
32. (Q) Is she trying to help herself? (A) At times, yes; at others very much discouraged. Hence that injunction indicated, to show appreciations about the body - in the little ways, in the words and in cheery things that may be said; and these will be helpful.
33. We are through for the present. Copy to Son " " Ass'n file (The ingredients for the massage may be purchased separately and then added as indicated. See letter [which was enclosed] with directions to Health Home Remedies Co., for the type Appliance needed. See article [which was enclosed] explaining theory of such an Appliance. Let us know when the treatments have been followed for three to six weeks, so we may make appointment for Check Reading.)
