1. EC: Yes, we have those conditions here.

2. As we have indicated for this body, it would be well to use the rubs and continue the manipulations and general treatments that have been indicated. These, as we find, offer the means and the manners in which the greater relief would come to this body in these conditions.

3. The enemas should be given, unless there are the eliminations through these channels; not necessarily EVERY day, but when there are the periods of greater strain, or the gases that form, these would be found to be the more helpful.

4. Those rubs, as indicated, should be from the upper portion of the stomach; following the whole outline of the stomach, the duodenum, through the area of the pancreas, spleen, the gall duct, the coordinations in the lacteals; following the form of the jejunum and through the colon. These should bring the period of greater ease.

5. The rest should be kept in the manner as indicated.

6. As for the injections as have first been given, these may be given when there is felt the NEED. But these, as indicated, only satisfy rather the MENTAL than any REAL PHYSICAL help. The greater hindrance is the shock to the system from the injection.

7. The regular routine that has been indicated is the better.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Do you find any congestion around the heart? (A) No congestion; only those pressures as indicated that may be aided by the massage DOWNWARD with the olive oil.

10. (Q) Do you find anything hidden that is preventing the patient responding favorably to the massages? (A) Nothing hidden; only those tendencies of the whole circulatory forces to become deadened by non-activity through the system. There should be response to these manipulations. And, as we find, there should be also not

just general massage but MOVEMENT - not too much, but MOVEMENT - in the segments along the lower portion of the spine. And, as we have indicated, follow out the nerves and tendons and the sciatic center along all of the limbs to the bursae in the feet. These we would do.

11. (Q) Fecal matter does not pass with enema. What can be done to help this trouble? (A) As we have indicated, this is a lack of a movement. Thus it becomes necessary to use the properties that have been indicated to force an activity of the lymph circulation through the upper bowel, that the lower bowel and the lower portion of the jejunum may become the more active. Using the Agarol should make for such an activity as to cause better responses.

12. (Q) How much water should be used, and has the rectal tube helped? (A) This has helped, and this should be governed by the manner in which there are the responses; the one giving same using the better discretion according to conditions that arise.

13. (Q) Should adjustments be made for arm and hand muscles? (A) As indicated, these should be MORE in the lower lumbar; but occasionally from the brachial up, provided NOT too severe. For while the circulation has been better in the upper portion, to relax same so much as to allow the flow to become more above than below would become harmful.

14. (Q) Has the patient enough acid in the system? (A) This acid should be made more by the balance from the activities created through the Appliance and the adjustments, than by attempting to give those things of a superficial nature for the body. This varies according to the general conditions.

15. (Q) Is milk helpful? (A) Milk is helpful only when it is well assimilated. This may best be considered by the manner in which it acts upon the organs themselves, and should be watched by those that care for same - especially in the eliminations.

16. (Q) What causes the dizzy spells? (A) The lack of the proper eliminations and the flow BELOW the diaphragm area. The applications as indicated should gradually relieve these. These conditions of bad periods, good days and bad days, must necessarily come with the effect that is had by the atmospheric pressure and the changes from the general conditions. But if there will be keep those precautions, following the manners indicated, we

should bring better results.

17. (Q) What is cause of sores under the arm and tip of spine? (A) The circulation in the emunctories there. These coming close to the surface become tender by the very ends of the nerves. But if these are massaged gently with the oil (olive oil), there should be a cleansing - and an altering in the manner in which the absorptions take place, also the circulatory forces.

18. (Q) What can be done to relieve gas pressure? (A) This has been given.

19. (Q) Should Dr. Layng continue naturopathic work or just rub in oil? (A) Use more of the GENTLE osteopathic movements AND the rubs.
